Pretty comfort - This shoe is not only comfortable, but it is dressy looking, too. Love it!

Color and comfort - The navy and beige color go with many items in my wardrobe. The navy is a very dark color and looks good with blue and black clothes. Shoes are very comfortable. I own 4 pairs. Wore the black in Europe last fall on tour and received many compliments.

Fine shoe - This shoe has been very comfortable for me after bunion surgery. The edges of the straps could have been smoothed a bit more. I've had lots of compliments on them. I particularly like the cushion between my foot and the pavement. Better than the usual sandal.

I found this shoe by entering desired characteristics in a search and lo and behold, a shoe whose brand name was unknown to me. I guessed on the size and they fit. I was thrilled to receive them the next business day.

Helle Shoes - Thanks for the quick delivery. I have had the shoes and my local store had discontinued the style. I was happy to be able to order them through Zappos and the service was great. I buy the shoes for the comfort. I wear them with orthodics so I need the support.

Love this shoe - I purchased this shoe because I had foot (toe) surgery and it had the ability to handle my feet when they were swollen and as the swelling went down I could resize them because of the velcro closures. I can wear this shoe for casual wear or can wear it with a nice pair of pants or a cute skirt.

Touring London - These are the most comfortable shoes I've had. We have just returned from London, England and I walked on cobblestone streets, up and down stairs and I truly felt as if I was walking on a cloud. These shoes are wonderful!!

Comfort Plus - I love these shoes as they are comfortable and perfect for Hawaii.

Very happy chiropractor - I found Helle Comfort shoes on vacation about 5 years ago and have not bought any other brand since. They are so comfortable and I am able to wear them all day without foot pain. I even work all day on my feet without back pain. The best part is the cork insert footbed. The footbed molds to your foot and is the best shock absorber. The leather upper is baby soft and continues to be soft with wear. There was no breaking in period because the shoes have velcro straps and can be adjusted to any foot width. I am a chiropractor and recommend these shoes to all my patients with knee, low back or hip pains.

These sandals afford me great walking comfort, both for my feet and with sufficient support to ease back discomfort. I have used them for distance walking and been very pleased. For a comfort shoe, they also look nice with travel clothing, etc. The disappointment, and something that surprised me given the cost as well as the reputation of Helle shoes, is that the inside materials turned my feet and hose black from the dye. It scrubs off the feet but does not come out of the hose.

So disappointed - I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe. Tested them out a couple of days before I left. The front strap cut my foot severely during the extended walking of the trip. Also, I bought them in the black gator, my feet sweated and they dyed my feet black. I only survived by wearing them with stockings. Not a wonderful option during the extremely hot summer. When I got home I could not wait to throw them out. Though I received a lot of compliments on their appearance, the discomfort in no way made up for it.

I really love these shoes! They are so comfortable. Everyone that sees them thinks they are really cute. I have a very narrow foot and these fit great because you can adjust the straps.

I was introduced to this Helle Comfort shoe several years ago. Of the leathers offered, I prefer the Croc as it molds better to my foot.I wear them so often I have three different colors and 3 pair of the black. Being in the real estate business, I spend a lot of time on my feet and need a shoe that is comfortable, stylish and has support. This shoe fit the bill! I recommend them without reservation.

I have 3 pair of Helle\'s and love them. I have many problems with my feet and back. Even the knees are becoming arthritic. This is the first sandal that I can wear, walk distances and still be comfortable. I agree that the dark foot bed fades on the feet. \r\n\r\nMy first pair is 4 years old ane I was told when I purchased them that I could replace the foot bed. Where can I make that purchase?

I got a lot of compliments on these shoes. Only bought them for walking, not for work, but after foot surgery I had to wear sandals. I was surprised at how many people said that they loved the look. Plus, they are really comfortable!!!

Great shoes! I have worn this style for at least 8 years, and I still wear the very first pair of black patent that I bought then. I now have six pair in different colors. I have rheumatoid arthritis, and this shoe is so adjustable and provides such good arch support that I can wear it on even my worst days.

COMFORTABLE - When I slipped my foot into the first shoe when trying on - I KNEW IT WAS MINE! Wow - it fit my foot perfectly. I have two hip replacements and must have a shoe that works -- and this is it. I will enjoy the sandals when I go to Florida in March from this -28 degrees today in MN.

Wonderful shoe - These shoes are great! I have three pairs now and cannot say enough good about them! They are both comfortable and stylish! Since wearing them, my knees aren't even bothering me--probably because of the support in the shoe!

This is the best sandal I have ever owned for my "problem" feet. It is 4-way adjustable so my bunions have lots of room while my narrow ankles still have support. I don't even have to wear my orthotics with this shoe. It has lasted two years with heavy use. I am buying a second pair just in case they discontinue the style. The brown alligator goes with just about everything. I love the shoe so much I bought it in white and black too.

I have problem feet because I have RA - I can't wear any shoes and be as comfortable as I am with these. I had a slight problem in the arch area because my arches were rubbing on the side seam so I put a large bandaid there and now they are great. One thing I wish is that they had some padding in the footbed.

Satisfied Helle Comfort Customer - I have bought several pairs of the Helle Comfort 356-f at our local "Bootery". Now they no longer can get this style, so, I'm grateful to have access to "Zappos". I have rheumatoid arthritis and my feet swell at times making regular shoes impossible to wear, however, the Helle Comfort's 356-f, makes it not only possible to have shoes on my feet, but most importantly a comfortable pair of shoes. I can feel dressed up or casual all in the same pair of shoes. To me that's a miracle!!! Thank you for your kind and thoughtful help to me and many others. Please don't discontinue this style, just add red, navy and other colors so we can be confident in our dressing.

Comfortable, supportive shoe - I have three pairs of this shoe (black, navy and tan). I bought my first pair three years ago, and they have held up very well. This is a very supportive shoe (replacement insoles are available from Shoe Dawg). I have plantar fasciitis, and often, this is the only shoe I can wear. I believe it runs true to size. It is not the dressiest sandal I own, but it is definitely the most comfortable and the only one I can wear on long walks. Zappos has the best selection of Helle Comfort.
