Earth's Lazer Vegan - Very nice & light, yet has Earth-type support. The elastic nature of the upper is a little bit like a girdle for your foot, which is great at first, but later feels confining if I am wearing socks. The positive side is that, like my other Earth shoes, the Lazer Vegan is comfortable with no socks.

Can't think of the name, but I have a pair of Earth dress slip-ons which are fantastic for office wear.

Good shoes! These are good shoes. I was a bit sad that they are pull-on and the laces are just for show. If I wanted the pull-ons, I would have bought them! :) I think they run a bit small- I got them in my regular size and my toes are almost touching the end. So if you have a preference that your toes are a bit farther back from the front (like me) I would get a 1/2 size bigger. And if you have a wider foot, I would go up a bit too. BOO, Earth shoes for only coming in 1 width!!! :( Also, the heel doesn't come up high enough for me and gives me a blister on just my right foot. So maybe I got a weird pair, or I have really weird feet, because this has never happened to me before. So just make sure yours are alright before you wear them around a lot! The negative heel is great- I wish more brands would adopt this idea! Yea!

Comfortable! Earth Lazer is one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have plantar fasciitis and arch pain, and my feet don't hurt wearing these shoes. My feet tend to get hot wearing them so far (in 80's temps) but otherwise, they're great!

Good comfort - I like these shoes and just ordered another pair in a size up. Although plenty of room in the footbed, they come up a little high in the front, so I wanted to see if a size up will give me a little more instep room.(They rubbed a little and left a mark.) Overall, after getting use to the heel, they are one of the best comfort shoes I have tried.

Down to earth - Great shoes. A small drawback is pulling the shoes on is a little difficult because the top heel flap folds down for easy packing in suitcases. It doesn't keep me from wanting to buy more. They're comfy and sturdy.

I like 'em! I got these hoping they would help relieve my plantar fasciitis. So far they are the most comfortable shoes for this and I think they are helping. I've only had them a few weeks but for now they are my choice for work, etc. These shoes (although they aren't "pretty") are very comfortable and light weight. Which I appreciate in the hot weather. I got a little mud on them this week working in the yard so I just took a hose to them and they look brand new. Probably because they are made of fiber and not leather or suede. But they look as nice as suede. I will probably buy a second pair of "earth shoes" in the coming weeks. By the way, I spent two full days at Sea World with just these shoes and my feet barely even noticed!! :-) It would be nice if they offered other styles with the no heel shoe...

There were no instructions on how to clean the shoes. I don't think you should wear orthodics because it would defeat the purpose of this shoe.

Lady Rider Likes these! These boots were really nice. I got them in brown. Good for riding and shifting was no prob since the heel was lower. The embroidery is gorgeous... I just wish you could see it more but can't with jeans. Fit was nice, but a little narrow: I am sure they will stretch with a few wears. They are a little hard to get off since they have no zipper, but just like any other cowboy boots. Zappos delivered next day! They Rock!

Not enough arch support for high arches. Comfortable, flexible shoe with lots of room in the toe box. However, I need to use my Birkenstock arch supports for my ankles and calves to be comfortable, and that negates the negative heel effect. I'd have liked better arch support built into the shoe.
I'd also recommend:
Merril for footbed comfort, Birkenstock for arch support.

I found these shoes very "loose". Not enough support for much of anything but wearing around the house. They are certainly comfortable, just not the support of other Earth shoes. But on the positive side, Zappos did it again, with superior service and speed of delivery. Thanks!

The white Vegan felt a size too big. It seemed to be leather not microfiber. The black felt true to size, microfiber with not much support??

My feet have gotten flatter over the years, and I can wear the shoe for a couple of hours okay. But being on my feet all day, after a couple of hours they really begin hurting my feet and legs, and by the end of the day, my feet and legs are really crying. Not a good shoe for flat feet. Arch support for flat feet is not a good thing.

Vegan comfort - I read reviews from other customers & feel they didn't meet my expectations once they arrived. I wanted walking shoes mainly for comfort & I feel "flat footed" when wearing them. Also was encouraged to order a larger size for toe comfort but they feel too big & wide. Love the color. The sole isn't as "solid" as I think it should be. Great for packing on trips. Overall I am disappointed especially since they were rather pricey.

Not for people with high arches - I have high arches and generally wear a wide shoe, but thought these might work because they looked so roomy in the front. While there is plenty of room in the front, and it seemed to have a lot of cushioning, I could barely get these shoes on past my high arch, and the arch area felt way too tight. Also, the packaging floored me. Why a separate cloth bag for each shoe in addition to the other packaging in the box? Didn't seem very environmentally friendly to me.

Utilitarian light travel shoe which comes in many colors. However, they are very difficult to get on and the heel fabric comes up high on the ankle which rubbed and produced a blister on my foot. They also run short and I would order one 1/2 size larger.

Very comfortable, but way too wide - I got this shoe today--very comfortable when I tried it on. However, the toe area was so wide it almost looked like a clown shoe on my foot. Normally, average width shoes are perfect for my feet. But, my toes were swimming in these. Looks aren't the greatest either--it does not look better than pictured. It's a shame because they really were very comfortable to walk in.

Comfortable ~but will it last - Wanted a comfortable shoe for walking and while this shoe seemed comfortable, returned it because it seems quite "flimsy" and as though it will not last any length of time. For the price I wanted a shoe that would last awhile. Also no idea how one would clean the fabrication of the shoe as there were any directions. The shoe seems more like a "house slipper" than a shoe which of course is what makes it so comfortable. The innersole was soft, but would not say there was a lot of support. I think you could remove the innersole and insert orthotics if needed however. I say buy this shoe if the price does not seem too much for a shoe that seems as though it might not last very long or withstand a lot of wear. It is definitely comfortable, just seems not destined to have a long life as a shoe. Size-wise suggest ordering up a half size if you want plenty of toe room. I wear a 7.5 or 8 depending on styles and in this tried an 8 and it fit well. It was a nice shoe, I hated to have to return it, but just need more value for my limited shoe dollars. Zappos was great to handle the return and credit my card back within about 2 days. This is superior customer service compared to the other on line merchants who can take up to a month or more to credit back your card. Also the free shipping and returns that Zappos offers is great. You can't beat Zappos.

Comfy shoe - I was excited to get this shoe until I got it. To me it is basically an expensive water shoe. It's hot, but cushiony with a good arch support. I work on cement floors all day and these are pretty comfortable for the most part. These were a little long, but I think if I ordered a half size smaller then they would have been too short. You do feel like you are falling backwards when standing in these at first. I've had these for a few weeks now and the back heel is starting to fall down. I really don't think these are worth the money but I hate packing things back up so I kept them.

Thought I had found a perfect answer! Ooooh, I hate to say this, but these just didn't work for me at all. They're quite ugly and I suppose I could get used to the backwards tilt. The problem is that I have two pairs of Nike Free and they are fabulous. I wanted so badly to buy from Earth instead, since this shoe is a virtual twin, except that my Free shoes are just perfect in every way. Now if they could just make them in Cleveland instead of China...

I wear the Earth shoes [30 pairs] all the time. I was disappointed with these shoes. The support arch was not there. If you did not see the Earth logo, you do not know they are Earth shoes. These are the first pair of Earth shoes that I sent back.

First Vegan shoe - This is an Earth shoe that, while it generally meets expectations, also disappoints. Much wider per size than my other Earth shoes. The heel "pull-up" will not last long as it already shows signs of decomp. It is wonderfully light weight-my reason for buying it-but I have no expectations that it will last as long as other, non-Vegan Earth shoes. Perhaps that is part of the Vegan challenge. I will not buy other Vegans.

Earth Shoe disappointment - I have bought earth shoes before and found 1 good 1 bad, this is my 3rd purchase and the height of the arch and the height of the opening is not sufficient for my feet so this shoe is too tight over the top of my foot. In addition, you can only wear this shoe for a short time due to getting used to the negative heel. I found 4 hours a max for me.

Not enough support - I liked the idea of the shoe... but it didn't pan out for me. Yes, it made me feel like I was walking barefoot, which is fine for an hour or so. But after a few hours walking hospital floors (at work, which is why I bought them), my heels were killing me (and I don't have "bad feet"). I couldn't wait to take them off...

Almost impossible to get it on - I am finding it almost impossible to get my foot into this shoe. The entrance is very tight even after I took the laces off. Once I have got it on, it is OK, but it is also almost impossible to get it off. I have a couple of Earth shoes that I like but this one was a waste of money because it is so difficult to get it on.

Nice, but not on gravel - These shoes are short-lived walking on anything but pavement. The wide margined soles allow rocks to get imbedded and tear into the thin underlayment. I am very disappointed with the thin construction between the ridged raised soles. After every walk I have to dig out the rocks which drive holes all the way thru the bottoms.
