Not perfect, but good enough - The arch support is great, the shoe actually fits my normally size 4 feet, the W fits my wide feet, and it's made for land and water use - this all makes up for the painful straps. The underside of the straps are not soft and certain spots dig into my skin every time I wear them. I recently stuck blister stickers on these spots and this has solved the pain, but I wish it had been unnecessary. Also, the strap between the toes is not comfortable either. If more attention had been given to the straps, this sandal would have been perfect.

This shoe provides a good amount of arch support and that is what I was looking for as I have been banned from wearing traditional flip flops.

Very comfortable, but not for long distances - Very comfortable shoes, however, my feet and lower legs were sore after an afternoon of walking. They're easy to clean and won't get ruined in the rain! I wish they were a little bit more stylish, but overall, I really like them as a casual flip-flop.

Just OK - Not as cushy as I wanted, but a good basic flip-flop.

Great shoe but a bit pricey - Very comfortable and nice looking but it's a flip flop and a bit too pricey for its function.

Comfort, but tight - Tight across the top of the foot, but the shoe over all is very comfortable.

Even though this is basically an excellent flip flop, when your foot is wet or sweaty, it tends to slide around on the footbed (unlike Chaco's'). Also, I usually wear a 7.5 wide; the size 7 was too small and the size 8 is a bit too long.

deserve the hype - I just got these sandals more than one week ago. I have plantar fasciitis with high arches and wide feet. Standard flip flops just don't cut it for me. (Havaianas are a joke!) Support is key and I like to be fashionable. Everyone is wearing flip flops. I want to wear them too! Here is how they stack up... I own Rainbows, Teva Mush, Reef leather, Chaco, Privo, and Birkenstocks. Birkenstocks give the best support (most are ugly). There is nothing like a Birkenstock. Rainbows are pricey and narrow. Tire out my feet. Tevas are great for the sand. The "Mush" is squishy and soft but not dressy. They offer a lot of support. Privo’s are over rated and don't give as much support as any of these. Chaco leather flips are HARD on your arch. The leather is slippery and your foot doesn't stay stable on the footbed. Only Reefs stand up to the OluKai. Both offer support, comfort, sleek look. The toe post is comfortable, straps don't dig and your foot really doesn't slide around. Stable support with either brand. Why did I detract 1 star from overall? Simple... these non leather sandals cost over $60 and I got the leather Reefs for a little more than 1/2 the cost. Would I buy any again? Birkenstocks last forever. I probably won't need another pair! I have 3 pair of Teva Mush and will probably add to my collection of inexpensive, beach sandals this way. Will not buy another Rainbow, Chaco or Privo. Reef is probably going to be my summer sandal of choice. They fit the bill comfort and price wise. OluKai make me very happy and I will probably get more. It's the price that really will hold me back. This pair better last! LOL

Undecided - These shoes look and sound wonderful on the website. I was sold immediately. Upon receiving them yesterday, I tried them on and was somewhat disappointed. I normally wear 7.5 or 8 so I ordered the 8. Unfortunately, these run large and they feel huge. Both the length and width feel larger than an 8. I think that is probably why the arch support hits my foot in the wrong place. I will probably exchange them for size 7 and try again. If the 7 doesn't work, I'll return them and look for something different -- life is too short to wear shoes that don't fit.

Comfortable, but be careful not to twist your ankle! These shoes were purchased for a trip to a beach in Mexico and they were comfortable right away. The only problem was I sprained my ankle badly wearing them!
