Too heavy and bulky

Usually I do not write reviews, but I just had to this time. I bought these shoes (in black-white-blue) in March for my grandson and am really disappointed. Zappos' service was great but the shoes themselves are the worst that I have ever purchased. My youngest grandson is not hard on his shoes at all. He did not wear these shoes to play at all, only to school sometimes and if we went somewhere (they have not even been washed). The shoes are falling apart, the rubber is separating from the rest in many places. He has a pair of suede Chuck Tailors that he has been wearing since February and has worn them as play shoes almost daily for the last seven weeks (they have been washed many times) and the rubber is just now starting to separate from the sole in one little place. After the DCs fell apart like that I am really hesitant to buy another pair of DCs.
