Comfort, but a little "preppie"... I work in a hospital and I needed a comfortable shoe, which prevented injuries from being standing on hard surfaces all day. So far, it delivers. They are comfortable, and you can feel the subtle massaging action when you walk. I got men's 9 Wide and feel true to the size. They do look professional for the workplace, a pinch on the formal side. I'm getting used to them, but at first they seemed a bit preppie for my taste. I will stick with them and I have received compliments on their look. Overall good quality.

Great Airport Shoe - I bought this shoe for the sole purpose of not having to remove it at TSA security. That is by far the best feature. It's also a well built shoe and reasonably comfortable with a good conservative look.

Almost Perfect - Great looking shoe, excellent price, nice heel/sole, a bit narrow (even in the wide version).

Shoe looks clean and professional. Sole is very comfortable and flexible as well as insert. Leather is a bit stiff and doesn't hug foot too well. Great shoe, a bit larger than expected

Good Airport Shoe - Nice shoe for the price. VERY comfortable after being on your feet for 12 hours. Innovative insole improves airflow and cooling. The sole is an open pore type (like foam) so I'm not sure how long the soles will last. No metal so great for crew shoes or for anyone who travels through airport security regularly. The upper gets scuffed easily by the sole of the opposite shoe (if you bump your feet together while walking or getting in and out of the flight deck). Haven't tried shoe polish yet so that might not be an issue. I normally wear 8.5 - 9 but I ordered these in 8 because of other reviews and they fit perfectly. So far, very comfortable, OK looks, and great for air travel!

Good Shoe - These shoes are relatively comfortable, compared to a traditional leather-soled dress shoe. However, I guess I expected them to be more comfortable than they are, given all the favorable reviews. They are breaking in nicely, but the "air cushioning" really isn't all that noticeable. These shoes are nice looking, and, in my opinion, are meant to be worn with a suit or dress slacks (I wouldn't recommend purchasing for business casual wear with khakis or the like). They actually run a bit large, lengthwise, and this particular style is narrow (I ordered wide and am glad that I did). Overall, I am pleased. The Zappos service (next day delivery) was great as usual!

good shoes - Like the look of the shoes and seems like excellent quality so far. As far as comfort goes, the shoes are a little stiff to begin with but have now broked in very well and are comfortable. Would definitely reccomend.

First pair of Rockports for me. Bought them so I could get through security at the airports (Airport Friendly fiberlon shank). Felt true to length but right shoe felt a little narrow at first. O.K. after a couple of weeks of wear. More comfortable then shoes I've owned in the past.

NICE SHOES - These shoes have fulfilled my needs for comfort and style. They are serving my feet well.

Looks good. Lot of cushion in the insole, however it has a sharp edge at the top of the back of the shoe and cuts the heck out of your heel by the achilles. I've been wearing bandaids until hopefully it softens up a bit.

Good working shoe - The shooe fits me perfectly and is a comfort to wear. I would recommend it to anyone for work or social events.

Squeak Squeak Squeak - Purchased these shoes for work in the airport. Within 4 weeks, started to squeak at the "comfort gel" in the heel on the right shoe. Pretty noticeable and very embarrassing. Within 4 more weeks, left shoe doing the same thing. I've been wearing Rockports for 15 years - first time this has happened. Last time I'll try this model.
