Wisconsin - This shoe is so comfortable that I could not believe it was new! It is easy to clean and I intend to buy it in the other colors, too.

This is a terrific shoe! In addition to having a wide foot, I need to insert an orthotic into the sneaker and this shoe handles the orthotic beautifully. Frankly, it's a rather luxurious wear!!

Living in Washington, DC it's very important to find a shoe that is stylish and can make it over long hauls. I know some reviewers said this is a frumpy shoe. I am in my early twenties and was looking for something with a low heel more than anything else. If you are wearing long jeans over a boot the only thing anyone is really going to see is the heel anyway, and I certainly don't think they are as old-lady-ish as some I've seen. I do agree that they run a little narrow though, and I have a typical B width foot. The ankle area is also wider than other boots which keeps it from getting that typical boot stiffness that comes from not being able to flex it all day long, however that also means the shoe sits a little bigger under your jeans.

Great shoes, I love them. This is the second pair of these shoes I have purchased. My first pair was white. I absolutely love these shoes. My feet tend to hurt in shoes designed for walking and that doesn't happen with these shoes. I wear them for general wear and for when I go for exercise walks.

Great Shoe! This shoe is absolutely a great shoe for comfort! The top is very soft leather-like. The memory foam on the inside is very comfortable. The first time I put the shoes on, I wore them all day! These shoes are true to size. This is not a long distance walking shoe - short distances are fine. I couldn't find a store that had Grasshopper Shoes so I turned to Zappos. The delivery was fast and the service fantastic.

Great shoes - Perfect fit! I love these shoes! After buying a different style and having to send them back I ordered these and they were perfect from the time I put them on. I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt at all. I am very happy with these shoes!

Grasshoppers - It's always a treat for me when my shoes are an instant fit, with no break in time. And these are just that! Nice style, but great fit.

LOVE ZAPPOS - I received my order within 5 days. I had tried to find shoes in my size in town, but none were available at any price. I already had a pair of Grasshoppers (which I have worn practically to shreds!), so I knew what I wanted. The price was great, and with no shipping & handling charges I couldn't have gotten them any cheaper anywhere else. The only reason why I put "moderate arch support" in the question below is that I have very high arches. There probably aren't any shoes that would have the proper arch support for my feet.

Easy Fit and Great Comfort - Very comfortable shoes at a very good price. They fit perfectly as soon as I put them on. I have difficulty walking and these carried me throughout my day. My only wish is that they looked a bit more fashionable.

Nice, soft, comfortable casual shoe - Soft on the feet, comforting feel, great for a casual short-distance walker - but not quite enough arch and other support to be a long-distance walking shoe.

Great fit - great comfort - I generally have trouble with fit and comfort because not all shoes are true sizes. These are. The flexibility is amazing and I will definitely buy more.

Ties are better - This is my 2nd pair of grasshoppers. The 1st pair I ordered a year ago had zippers. Wide width was not available at the time so I got regular. I had trouble with the zippers not closing completely and working down. My last pair was available in ties and also wide width. They fit better and I don't have to keep zipping them up. These shoes are also very comfortable since they are made of a soft leather.

Comfortable In Wide Width - Well-fitting walking shoe with its cushioned footbed and stretchy gore panels. Outer sole is flexible and thus probably too thin to comfortably be on rough terrain for a long length of time. This WW wearer is happy to have found this shoe and Zappos.com in general.

Grasshoppers Stretch Plus - I actually bought this show for my wife for a formal event. She wears a full foot and leg brace on one leg and cannot wear regular shoes. She wore a white suit to a formal event with me and the grasshopper provided a good fit, comfort and exceptional look. I am very pleased, and pleased at how quickly Zappos shipped the item to me.

Comfortable Shoes! I have a very wide foot and these shoes are attractive and very comfortable.

Easy on the feet - Bought this shoe for my 90 year old mother and she found them comfortable to wear right out of the box. Soft underfoot and a nice secure fit so she says.

Awesome shoes for women with feet, leg, or back problems!!! My mom has sciatic nerve damage from having two back surgeries, so she has constant pain in her legs and feet. These are the only shoes that have helped ease the pain. She has tried expensive name brand athletic style shoes and she still had to add extra support and they still hurt her feet and legs. She can wear these shoes as they are, without adding extra support, because they are so comfortable for her. These would be perfect for anyone who is on their feet most of the time or those who have problems with their feet, legs, and back... You will want to buy them a half size bigger than what you normally wear.

Most comfy shoes at any price. From the first time I wore them, I knew they would be a favorite. I need a shoe at least a step above an athletic shoe to wear to work with slack outfits. This "fits" the bill. I have hammer toes, bunions and arthritis in my feet, and these shoes are comfortable all day.

Very Comfortable - These took a little breaking in - very little - and look a little on the clunky side but they are very comfortable now. A little warm for Texas spring and summer though.

Comfy - This is a nice, comfortable shoe that looks decent with capris. I am unable to walk for any length of time in sandals or heels and most athletic shoes look too bulky with summer capris and shorts. I love the "stretch", these fit better and have more support than Keds, but a similar look.

Don't let look's fool you - I have very bad feet. Finding a shoe that is comfortable shoe is hard. But I took a chance, and I'm glad I did. This is the most comfortable shoe ever.

Grasshoppers - Workplace Comfort - Nothing ruins your workday like hurting feet. That's why the Grasshoppers Stretch Plus is a godsend. The uppers are made of soft leather that never rubs. The laces allow you to adjust the fit to whatever bunions and bone spurs would otherwise plague you. The cushioned sole and stretchy vents add comfort, and the shoe is stylish enough to wear with a pantsuit in any office setting. You don't get that "clunky" feel of orthopedic shoes, and you don't have to use a magic marker to hide any athletic shoe decorations. It's just what I've been looking for!!

Alternative to Athletic Shoes - I found these to be pretty comfortable shoes. I did put an additional layer of padding on the bottom as I have very sensitive feet and felt the ball of the foot needed more padding. They don't come with a removable insole but with some gentle pressure you can remove the ones in the shoes and customize these to suit your needs. They are my "dressy" alternative to tennis shoes. They are very, very soft leather and put no pressure on the sides or tops of your feet. Probably the softest leather I have felt short of Italian shoes which are 500% more money.

So Comfortable - I bought this shoe for my 100 yr old mom. She loves them. The stretch does the trick.

They worked!!! Despite my having to wear a splint because I had broken my ankle 3 months earlier, the stretch quality of this shoe helped. I needed more arch support than this shoe offered but I was totally delighted that the shoes came within 24 hours of my ordering them.
