I just bought my second pair of Foamtreads "Waltz" slippers. What I like about these slippers is that they stay snug on your feet, they don't have that loose, "sloppy" feel so many slippers (like those from L.L. Bean or Land's End) have. They also provide pretty decent (moderate)arch support and have a sturdier sole than most slippers. My first pair lasted me for almost two winters -- not as long as was the case with another reviewer. Then, the lining in one shoe began to crumble away at the heel, causing bits of the inner material to fall out when putting on and taking off the shoe. I hope that was an aberration in the otherwise apparently very good quality of materials and construction. Hence, I bought a second pair; we shall see!

I am not supposed to go barefoot because of a Morton's neuroma. I needed a slipper with some support. The Foamtreads Coddles slipper was my first choice, but when I tried them around the house, I kept walking out of the right shoe (the left fit fine) so back they went. So then I tried the Foamtreads Waltz. This is a cute slipper that can also be worn as a casual shoe with jeans. In my case it ran true to size. I did find the stretchy gusset to be quite stiff at first, but after a little breaking-in period, the slippers are fine. And they seem to give me the support I need to deal with my foot problem. Most of the time, I wear them with a light sock for comfort, although they are fine "sockless" as well.

I love these sleepers! Perfect for around the house, or for running out to grab the news paper. The only thing I would like to change is where the tag is placed. It's inside, in the middle where my heel meets the sole. After a few days I stopped feeling the rough edges, so no big problems.

Soft, soothing, comfy slipper. Love the dusty rose color and feminine style. Wish it had arch support. Stretches out after wearing for awhile.

These feel shorter and narrower than the 10 wide size I ordered. They are not the comfy slipper I would want to wear at the end of the day. I'll wear them around the house as my day shoe since they look more like a shoe than a slipper. Very disappointed that they are not the comfortable, loose and cozy slipper I was wanting!

This shoe was a great fit for my narrow feet and had lots of padding which was perfect for our concrete floors. However, the stitching around the elastic on the top part of the foot had several rough edges which scraped against the top of my foot making them painful to wear. Sadly, I had to return these slippers.

Very tight over the instep and fabric fabric is a little coarse. Made for a snug fit but uncomfortable and left impression on skin.

Too snug for me. Like Goldilocks, I ordered three pair of black house shoes/slippers. These are sturdy, but too tight for my foot. I do have a wide toebox area. Another pair of Foamtreads (Coddles) fit like a dream.

I ordered these in wide and they were too tight. Also, I usually wear 8 1/2 and that was too small.

Love the brand an have worn another model which wore out. Returning these because they were defective. However, I would have done so anyway because the elastic gore on the top is very stiff and it it has raw edges dig into the top of your foot and are very uncomfortable.

This is a wide? I couldn't even get my foot in. (Yes, I removed the cardboard and the tissue paper!) This is a very narrow "wide"! It is an attractive slipper - too bad I couldn't get it on.

Even though I ordered a Wide and I usually only need a medium width, this slipper is way to narrow for comfort.

I have worn these shoes for years, but this pair was changed by the manufacture. The top of the shoe at the elastic has a very rough insert sewn on to the underneath of the elastic causing a rough and raw spot to form on the top of my foot.

Love the color, very comfortable with one very important exception. The insert in top is not stretchy elastic, but very scratchy rough material. As much as I liked these slippers, that was deal breaker. Had to go back.

I wanted a narrow but they weren't available so tried the medium. I'd say the medium is a bit narrow, which is fine for me but maybe not for someone who really needs a medium. There is something stiff in the back counter area of one of the slippers; I pounded it with a mallet. I'd return them but I've worn them and I can flatten it with the mallet. No idea what it is - feels like bunched up material. Burgundy is dark not my first choice of color but it is a good looking color.

These are very comfortable slippers and I love that they fit my narrow feet -usually mediums are too wide. However, the "triple density natural blown rubber soles" deteriorated and split off in the back of both heels in less than a year. And that's just from walking on carpet. For the price, they should last much longer.

Although there was plenty of room in the upper, the sole is too narrow. My pinky toes hang off the edge of the sole. I don't like that. Also the heel pad is a little too short (in the horizontal plane). Plus I'd rather have a lower heel in a slipper. One more note: the elastic across the instep is a little rough on bare skin. I tried both medium and wide. The sole is too narrow in both. In a perfect world my shoes would have a wide toe bed and narrow-to-medium heel. My feet our tough to fit properly. Perhaps these slippers will work out great for others. I did like the taupe color, but I'll be returning them.

Unfortunately I have to send them back as even the wide width was too tight. I liked the style and construction, but it was way too tight

Bought for my mother, we discovered a Wide was not enough to even allow a test of the shoe. She liked the style very much. I have not found a stylish double W. I returned them.

This is a lovely product in so many ways, but the inset piece is scratchy and very irritating. It left marks on my left foot within one hour. I am reluctantly returning.

Lovely, well-made slippers, BUT the WIDE is barely a medium width. Do not buy if you need a wide. I even tried these a half size larger in the hope that would make them fit, but these really run narrow.

They're ok--scratchy and I feel like I have to wear socks or it scratches the top of my feet and the sides. Not that soft and fits kind of weird, but I kept them because I really needed slippers and it was like March when I ordered these. I bought Uggs slippers in January and they wore out so I needed a new pair.

I ordered my normal 6.5 wide and they were too tight. Not good for a slipper. These are going back and I will try a size up. Love the colors.

Really cute and comfortable, but the piece on the top is so rough that it is painful if you don't wear socks. Too bad, these were classy.

Nice slipper, but not quite enough toe room for me, and no arch support. Felt 1/2 size too small, maybe because the toe end was narrow. Also the insole is not removable, so there wasn't enough room for my orthotics. Outer sole was as advertised, however: cushiony with good tread.
