This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and I love them! My foot is on the wider side of average and these fit perfectly. They do run big; I bought a full size smaller than I usually do. They are fairly stylish; I get compliments on these and people are surprised to find out they're Birkenstocks. I walk all over town in these and my feet feel great!!!

Love my sandals! I wear an 8 (sometimes 8 1/2) and the 38 fit perfectly. Love that I got them the next day too!

I love these good thing I tried them on in a store before so I knew what size to buy. The sizing says a 38 is a 7-7.5 I would say a 38 is a 8-8.5.

These are in a great style! They are a good width for my wide feet. I wear a 8½, which would be a a size 39. I had to return them for a size 38.

I've worn Gizah for years and loved them. These are even more comfortable due to the back strap, and look nicer too! So comfortable and supportive, I can walk all day in them. The colors are gorgeous, and I hope they come out with a plain leather version too. And of course, I must mention Zappos' awesome customer service too- free overnight shipping, never ever any damaged/worn products, and so friendly on the phone when you have a question!

I just received my sandals in the mail and they fit perfect! I've been having a lot of heel pain, so from other reviews I decided to give Birkenstock a try. I will be ordering several other styles and colors.

This is the most comfortable shoe! I ordered the black in a 36, and I am a true size 6, and it's a perfect fit. I'll be getting a second pair for sure.

I ordered the Kairos in Titanium and found the metallic to be on the greenish side. I was expecting a truer matte silver or "whiter" metallic. Computer screens can be screwy with colors, so I'm just looking for another color to exchange, but FYI to those who are particular about your color shades. I have smallish bunions and usually wear a size 7.5/8 in medium width. I have a pair of Zurich slip-on Birkentocks that are 38 and I always felt they were way too big. I ordered the Kairos in a 37, but my "smallish" bunions peaked over the sides of the sandals. Ugh. Also the toe bar in the foot bed felt funnier than I expected. Otherwise very sexy & fun looking Birks, so I'll be trying a 38 when I exchange the Titanium for another color.

I love these shoes and I would keep them in a heartbeat, except that I do not have enough toe room. The toe ridge does not give you a lot of leeway if you have longer than average toes. I do not think many people will have this problem, though. My feet are very square (my fourth toe is the same length as my big toe), so the slant of the toe area was just too steep.

I really like this style. I got them in red patent and they are so cute! I went to the Birkenstock website and their sizing chart is different than what Zappos has listed for this shoe brand. I am a size 8 US and on the Birkenstock website it says I should get 38 size for 7½-8 US but Zappos said I should get 39 for 8-8½ US. I opted for the Birkenstock size suggestion and it was the right decision. They fit perfectly.

I owned a pair of Birkenstock hiking shoes that offered good comfort and lasted many years. I was excited when the Kairo became available. I wanted a black sandal and I figured the price was well worth it since Birkies are so well made and really hold up well. I have a very wide foot and was happy when the shoes arrived and fit perfectly. Unfortunately, these shoes are not even remotely comfortable. The thong between the toes is very hard and abrasive. It has improved slightly over several hours of wear, and I think it may eventually become a non-issue. But right now it's painful and I have to pull my feet back in the shoe whenever I can to find temporary relief. The foot bed itself is also very hard and offers no real comfort. You feel every little pebble beneath your feet. Walking around my campus, which has pebbled sidewalks, is not pleasant, however the footbed isn't a problem when I'm on smooth surfaces. All in all, I remain optimistic that the shoe will break in and give me years of wear.

My first Birk. Hesitant to buy...due to the price...but I have plantar fasciitis and need arch support. Purchased these for two week trip to France. Lots of walking. Breaking these in is no problem. Very comfortable out of the box.

The design is very fashionable. I have very small feet and thought the upper strap covering part of my big toe was awkward and planned to return it, but my boyfriend objected and said I looked good on me regardless. Wearing it inside the house for a few hours at a time was comfortable, but when I decided to take it outside I found that at the end of the day there was a giant blister on my left foot on the toe next to the big one. The middle strap rubbed against it yet my right foot was fine. Needless to say, I'm wary of wearing these sandals out again.

I purchased these hoping that they would be a great summer sandal; however, I was sad to have to return them. Birkenstocks just run way too big. I am a 6 1/2 in every shoe that I own and the size that I purchased was advertised as being for a size 6-6 1/2. I have small feet and skinny ankles and the loop around the ankle looked ridiculously too big. Even if I added an extra hole, they still would have looked silly, so I returned them. I did wear them around the house for the day and they did seem to be quite comfortable.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, so I may not be aware of how they feel at first. But these are very uncomfortable for me. I normally wear a size 6-6.5 (37). As per other reviews I sized down to to a 36 (5-5.5). These sandals feel too large even after sizing down. If they made these in a 35, I probably would have sent them back for the smaller size. I decided to keep the 36's anyway and see if I could make them work. The toe separator is uncomfortable, yet I think that will soften. I walked my dog around the block for probably 10 minutes, and when I came back I had a huge blister on the ball of my foot from the insanely high arch. Now I am unsure if I can even wear these again to try to soften them a little more. I bought these to be a cute alternative to flip flops when I take a trip to Thailand (which is now in a week). I'm not sure these will suffice as I can't even wear them for more than 10 minutes without getting a blister. I am disappointed because these are really cute sandals, and I wanted to try out Birkenstock - thinking these were going to be heaven on my feet...and they are not.

The sizing on the Kairo is WAY off and the craftmanship of this style seems abnormally poor for Birkenstock. In other brands I'm an 8M/W and in Birkenstocks I've always been a 38M (I own both Madrids and Bostons). The Kairos were easily 1/2 inch too long in the front and in the heel. Oddly the toe bar was sort of in the right place, meaning I had not to size down to a 37M as it would have cut deep into my toes. As I ordered both black and brown pairs, I know it wasn't a fluke. Disappointed as I've had my eye on this sandal all summer.

These shoes are not leather. They are made of a shiny plastic-like material attached to a thin layer of foam. I prefer to wear leather shoes because they can be stretched if needed and also because I prefer the look of leather. These shoes run a bit large. I usually buy 8.5 and sometimes a size 9 because my feet are wide. I purchased the 39 and they were too long. The width was perfect. I decided to return these shoes for a pair of leather shoes.

I read all the positive reviews and thought I'd give these Birkenstocks a try. The width was good (I have wide feet), but the soles were too hard. My feet are pretty flat, so the arch was kind of annoying for me. The straps were surprisingly extremely comfortable. Style is not that great, but thus far, the best looking Birkenstocks around. The stiff, hard soles are a deal breaker. I'll be returning these.

I wear flip flops all the time and never had a problem with the toe piece until I tried this style. The toe "thong" is very hard plastic. Ouch! Back they go.

I love these shoes. Instantly out of the box comfortable with no rubbing anywhere. The only problem is they are too big. I usually wear a US 7.5 and ordered them in EU 38. Too long. I need an EU 37 but Zappos does not have any more in stock. Sending them back and really sad about it.

I haven't worn Birkenstocks since I went through a '90s grunge phase, but I missed my Birks. These are so cute, and like all Birks they get more comfortable with more wear. This one looks great with sundresses. Love them!

I love these shoes! Not only are they stylish but their comfortable, every time I wear these sandals I always get compliments. I going to buy another pair in a different style for the summer if it ever gets here.

I was looking for a cute, yet comfortable sandal that offered arch support. I had tried another brand that is well known specifically for its arch support, but I found that sandal to be uncomfortable. I think this sandal is a great compromise. I have a low arch but I can wear these all day. I think after a few more wears they will be perfect!

This is my first Birkenstock purchase. I have plantar faciitis and was told that Birkenstock shoes would be a great choice for my condition. So far, whenever I wear them, my feet feel fine although it is a challenge to get used to them. However, after repeated wearings, I notice that my feet do feel a little better after each wearing. Additionally, I actually do like the style and am considering purchasing the Birkenstock Dundee boot in the future.

These sandals are super cute. I got the pink and they are a little bit darker pink than they look in the picture, but still very cute. They do run a little bit large, maybe 1/2 to full size big.
