Comfortable and casual - This sandal is really comfortable. It has more of a Birkenstock look and feel than I was really going for, but I still find that I wear them and like them quite a bit. The footbed is suede, which I didn't notice from the photo. The space between the footbed and the leather part is plentiful; a little large for my foot. Also, the espresso color has kind of a metallic sheen to it, FYI. I didn't really see that in the photos. Overall, it's a good, comfortable, casual shoe, and I'll be wearing them for a long time.

Very cute and comfortable, but strap too big for me. These are cute and comfy, like all Clarks, and even the toe ring was comfortable... unfortunately, the larger strap was just too loose for my foot. I went with my usual size (7.5 reg) and the length and width of the shoe were perfect, but I just flopped around too much in these sandals, and the extra material just looked funny. Bummer, b/c otherwise they're very cute and comfy... I would have kept them but for this price they need to be close to perfect!

Comfy sandals - Fantastic and comfortable, but they're a little squeaky!

Nice shoe, needs a little tweaking - Beautiful shoe and color (red) however the band across the top of the foot is a little tight as well as the toe area. The width is fine but the way the shoe is made looks funny as it is so wide in the footbed and narrow in the heel area.

Indiana - I love everything about this shoe - I have it in honey, coral (which is more of a n‏ude color) and black - except for the fact that all 3 pairs squeak quite loudly. Don't buy this shoe if you will be wearing it to a library!

Comfy, right out of the box. No "break in" period required. The toe box area is a tad wide but looks okay as long as the fit is right. A tad too large might make the toe box area look much wider than it is. Was concerned about the toe wrap but no chafing or rubbing at all. Can't even feel it actually. Good arch support too.

Fairly comfy but squeaky - Nice looking shoe. A little break-in required with toe straps and top straps. Maybe just my feet, but these shoes are super squeaky. Makes a ton of noise when I'm walking.

Order a size smaller - Comfortable shoes but follow the other advice and order a size smaller than normal. I found the middle strap to be too big for my foot so they are kind of loose. The quality is great, the footbed is super comfy.

A nice shoe and a beautiful red. The narrow is narrow, which is often hard to find in a sandal. I wear a 9.5 or 10, and in this one, I ordered a 9.5, and am keeping it. I have a neuroma in one foot (ouch!) and these shoes are not especially good, but no worse than others, for it.

Comfortable - but top strap a little wide. Very Comfortable. The strap along the top is a bit wide, so it does not hug my feet. It does not affect the stability or comfort, just looks a little big.

Pretty...but - This is a pretty shoe from some angles, but looks boxy from others. I ordered the coral and thought the color was really classy-looking. Worst of all, the shoes squeaked! So, I returned them

No half sizes (in spite of what is offered). I ordered this in the red. I do love the look of Clarks Artisan line. I first ordered this in a 10 W. It proved to be too long and so I ordered it in a 9 1/2 W. It wasn't any shorter in length! I had not yet returned the first pair and so I compared them sole to sole, and side by side. The 9 1/2 and 10 were exactly the same though the shoes themselves were marked according to what I had ordered! Shame on you Clarks for pretending to offer half sizes! (And thank you Zappos for your free return policy.)

Nice looking! A great spring/summer black sandal that pretty much goes with everything and is unique looking at the same time? Say it isn't so! This is pretty much the perfect shoe -- my only small complaint is that the toe thong at the front is a teeny bit cramped and tight, but overall this is a great shoe that you will get a lot of wear out of, not to mention a lot of compliments.

Excellent comfort and arch support, but still stylish and feminine.

Squeak walker - I recently bought Clarks Hopper sandal. First, I ordered per other reviews that said it ran large, well it does in the width, and usually leather stretches a bit, but I believe it is true to length and so the first pairs were too short in length. So, thanks to Zappos, I returned them unworn and ordered a size longer and Narrow. They fit perfectly, and I am enjoying the black ones in the Calif. weather at this time of year. The "pink" ones really are a soft rosy tan, and I doubt anyone would think pink. The red are a true red. So colors are wonderful. BUT... they SQUEAK all the time. I keep wearing them and hope I can wear out the squeak, but then I talked to the shoe repairman that has fixed shoes for me for years. He said that usually it is caused from not padding the inside of the sole with proper materials. SHAME ON CLARKS SHOES! Is this another company that will cut the consumer until it looses it business? OR do we just wear the shoes to noisy places? Anyway, they are so comfortable, I will see if they get better. I know ZAPPOS is super with satisfaction support, but I really hope the shoes will grow tired of squeaking. I hope ZAPPOS will share all the comments of squeaking with CLARKS shoes. And in the future I may pay more attention to a review that says that the shoes squeak.

Squeaky sandal - I generally love Clarks’ shoes. However, I agree with Anonymous from Sonora about this sandal squeaking. After one sandal squeaked, I ordered another pair to compare and sure enough, one of those sandals squeaked. Also, the sandals are 1/2 size larger than marked.

LOUD squeak!!! Great shoe. Comfortable and pretty, but annoying to wear.

Wobbly - I found the shoe just a little bit wobbly. I was looking for an extremely stable walking shoe since I have a bad knee. Also, I found the front of the shoe a little too wide.

Too narrow - I ordered the Clarks Hopper and they were really good looking and cushy shoes, but even though I ordered the wide width I couldn't even come close to getting my foot in it. I was disappointed because I have other Clarks sandals that fit fine. They also ran long like the other artisan collection sandals I tried, did find the Mantis fit my foot a little better, although still a little snug. Clarks, please, please make your wide widths a little wider. Otherwise it is hard to beat the comfort of Clarks insoles.

Quack! Quack! These shoes are cute and comfortable, but noisy! They sound exactly like a couple of ducks. I'm really sad to have to send them back; it's so hard to find sandals that fit my 6W feet. But I'm worried if I wear them outside I'll end up being followed by a line of ducklings. Quack!

Disappointing! These were so cute online, and I love the red color. However, the toe area is HUGE - both too wide and too long. Made my toes look extra long and spread out. Not a graceful look (a bit like the Birkenstock look). I imagine they would be comfortable, although the strap across the middle of my foot was quite loose.

This sandal is pretty comfortable to wear, but runs long -- I ordered a half-size smaller than usual, but there was still a lot of length at the front of the sandal -- the thong is not in the right place for my foot. Width (narrow) was good. The "coral" color is a very pretty neutral beige. I laughed when I read a few reviews mentioning that this sandal was squeaky, until I tried it on -- it squeaked so loudly that it sounded like I had a duck attached to my foot. I returned them.

Clicks when I take a step - I love the look of this shoe and they way they fit - I have them in red - my only complaint is when I take a step the right show has a distinct click to it - somewhere in the arch area. I have only had it a week and have contacted Clarks about the problem. Will see what they want me to do. I have dozens of pairs of Clarks and love them all but I am disappointed in this particular shoe because of the noise level coming from the shoe. It is very loud.

Clarks Hopper Review - I found the front strap to be quite rough, and it rubbed against my toes when I walked. I am returning them for a different style of shoes. They also made my already large foot, size 12 appear even larger.

I wear size 12A. This shoe is fairly sturdy and nice looking, and fairly comfortable although if I'd worn them outside my house I think the area over the toe area would have needed some breaking in. The leather is a bit stiff. I sent them back because as with other Clarks thong sandals I've tried, the toe area is 1/2 - 1 size longer than it needs to be. It's unbelievable because I even have long toes. You can only put your toe in so far because of the thong, and there is way too much toe area left over, and this is when I'm standing up. It's like they put the leather thong in the wrong place. This never happens with other thong sandals I've tried on, by the way. Other than that, they are nice looking.
