Very lightweight. felt a little plastic-y. Lacing up the first time felt like lacing some plastic bags around your feet, like plastic socks, but it's quite comfy once they are in. It's been a few weeks and it's holding up nicely. A nice everyday shoe that super lightweight. Driving a stick shift these shoes let you feel the pedals a lot more.

Loved these right out of the box. Since they are a 'former' track shoe, they are sleek, lightweight, and felt more narrow than a traditional shoe does. Not much for heel comfort but some doc scholl's inserts helped on that end. I haven't ran in them, but walked all day in my job as a school custodian, felt pretty good all-around, just a little narrow but I like a 'tight' feel to my feet and these shoes are definitely snug. And yes, I love the old school look & style to them.

This is a really great shoe and would be the most perfect shoe ever if the material could breathe. I generally train un-shod and rock these for races to knock off a bit of time. I mod them just a bit to get what I need: throw away the insert immediately for added ground feel and use a hole punch to add ventilation. Ran the 2011 Chicago Marathon in them. When I'm not barefoot, I'm in modded bullets. Love these things. But Saucony, just use a breathable material already. P.S. if you don't want to add ventilation holes then be prepared to leave these sneaks outside your door. They will smell like the matted butt fur of a whole tribe of Sasquatches.

Please add width options for this shoe Saucony!!! This shoe (in Brown/Tan) had pretty much everything I was looking for. I'm a casual sneaker shoe wearer and I was looking for a great/stylish functional/everyday shoe that would go with brown belts. I saw this shoe online and had to have it. When I opened the box it looked even better in person. Then I tried it on...and was disappointed. I have an average wide foot and didn't think it would be a problem but it was. So I thought I could just exchange it for a wider width but there is NO OPTION. Just medium. I re-did the laces and that only made a slight difference. So I say again Please add width options Saucony!!!!!!

Great, comfortable shoes. Lightweight and a perfect summer shoe. They fit pretty true to size lengthwise, but they run narrower than average.

These shoes are wicked comfy. They are extremely light and minimalistic. They fit more like a pair of socks than sneakers. Surprisingly though, I can walk for hours and my feet do not hurt. It's much like walking barefoot. As a result of the lightweight material they aren't as durable as some shoes, so I guess that's the trade-off. The leather in the back rubs on the back of my ankles so I had blisters at first but once they softened up the shoes are fine.

My son chose these shoes. He is a teenager so as you can imagine, tough to approve anything. He loves these shoes, says they are very comfortable and soft.

Very cool shoes. Great fitting as well. They feel like they are molded to my feet. Lack of cushioning, but still comfortable for trotting around town.

I bought this shoe for travel where I need one shoe to walk around, go out at night, and hit the gym occasionally. However, it was too narrow and the fit was too tight to fit my orthotic insole so I had to return it. The Zappos return and shipping policy is great but I was disappointed that the shoe did not fit as hoped.

I've been wearing Nike Cortez trainers since high school and they recently changed their construction. I've owned Saucony trainers before but they were more bulky than the Cortez, but after seeing the Bullet, I thought I'd go for it. Glad I did. They're light, breathable, low profile, and very comfortable. I've been rocking them day in day out for a few weeks now and I've got no complaints. I do NOT wear them for working out or running, so if you need input on that, look elsewhere.

Like the Onitsuka Mexico '66s, it feels like the arch pad in these shoes is too far forward. I have flat feet, so it might be me, but I found it strange. Otherwise, these are super-lightweight shoes that look fantastic. These don't feel a half-size smaller than marked, but the shape makes them rather snug. They feel close but not constricting.

This is my second pair of the Bullet's. I love the fit and comfort of them - like track shoes but for everyday wear. The only con would be that my first pair wore out a little faster than I might have guessed, though I tend to wear my shoes pretty hard in general so perhaps it's just me?

The proper shoe for just kickin' it. they will start to fall apart faster than a normal shoe so buy a couple pairs in different colors and alternate wearing them so they last longer.

This is probably my new favorite pair of shoes. I mainly wear them casually, so I haven't tried putting them through their paces. Overall, it's comfortable, cheaper than the competition without sacrificing quality, and it slims down my foot. With a size 13 foot, it's difficult to look like you're not wearing skis.

You know the old saying, "they don't make them like they used to..." Well, they still do with this shoe! If you're a minimalist runner, free runner or an all around ninja. Or maybe someone who is looking for a good summer shoe. Well these are certainly for you! Great for sprints, wall runs, sparring and weight lifting. An excellent everyday shoe as well. Not for the habitual user of the stabilized, high arch support, heels jacked up like you're running on pumps shoe. Folks, this is an old-school, high quality minimalist runner. And I highly recommend it to my fellow runners, traceurs, ninjas and all around adventurers out there. Only negative I will add is that the size seem to be a half size to large than marked in US size. Of course, my feet aren't exactly molded straight out of the text book of human anatomy. Other than that, they are great!

I was initially wary of these shoes because of a previous review about a hole developing the vamp above the toes; especially since I intended to used them biking around town in toe clips. So I bought these along with a pair of Onitsuka Tigers which seem to be a popular choice. Looking at the two side-by-side, the Tigers seemed overly chunky in comparison, though perhaps more solidly constructed, whereas the Sauconys seemed to have better fit and finish overall (better seams, no loose ends, etc). Ultimately, it was their svelte, original style and snug fit that led me to choose this pair. No regrets, either: even after putting them through the abuse of my regular city-cycling/gym-running routine for a month, no holes above the toes and none of the front-sole peeling away from the shoe that used to plague this brand.

The only way to improve upon this shoe would be to change the fabric to one that breathes. Your "significant other" will make you leave them outside your home to air if you have them on for over 20 minutes. Stinky! Other than that they are the greatest shoes I have ever owned and will be buying many many more pairs.

I bought these as a daily minimalist running shoe. They are a pretty good choice for this: they are light, the sole is thin and there is little structure. Here's the negative. I got my pair in June and I have worn a small hole through them (under the right toe) by October. I'll probably replace them, but other shoes in the same category (sadly discontinued) definitely lasted longer.

Once you remove the insole, you're left with incredible ground feel and flexibility (zero forefoot cushioning). The upper is extremely flexible and breathable and the whole shoe is astonishingly light. It feels like wearing socks, but with a classic, snazzy style. Comes with two colored laces as well: toned down gray or bright, in your face white. I only have two major gripes. The first is the heel lift. It really isn't that bad but its presence is exaggerated by the thinness of the forefoot. Second, the toe box is a little tight. This isn't a big deal, though, as the upper will move with your foot and if it bothers you then you can easily size up. Overall, this is an incredibly comfortable, light, barely-there shoe. The style is classy and looks great with jeans, but some might not be a fan of the plastic-y Saucony "S" on the side. For non-minimalists, this shoe has absolutely no support, but that is what I think makes it so comfortable.

Snug fit, and comfortable for light walking. The soles on these are super thin, though, and they don't offer lots of support. For these reasons, I wouldn't recommend running, or even very heavy walking. They look very cool, though.

This shoe fits like a glove, albeit a small and thin glove you might wear for stylishness more than function. I was surprised by how form-fitting the shoe is. It's very light, hugs all around your foot and feels really comfy, very breathable and flexible. I usually wear an 8, but I had to return it for an 8.5. There isn't a lot of toe room because it's pointy, but that's the style they're going for here. Similar to many Asics shoes. The shoe is not very thick and I can't speak to how well it works as an actual running shoe even though it looks the part, but the bottom of it allows a lot of sensitivity to the ground if that's something you like. After standing on gravel for 3+ hours at a music show I was thinking maybe I should have worn some thicker shoes, but for warmer weather when you're just scooting around town and having fun, relaxing or for for looking pretty slick when going out, they look good. I would recommend them for a style with slimmer shorts or slimmer pants that have a tighter opening around the ankle because the shoe seems to look so thin itself.

Very lightweight feel. Very breathable. They were real comfortable right out of the box, but I'm a little concerned about how well the front nylon mesh part of the toe is going to hold up over time, or any extended abuse. They aren't meant for rough terrain though, so I'm sure dry road and light trails are fine. I use them for weightlifting and Krav Maga training, too; feel fine so far.
