I just ran a marathon in these bad boys and they were awesome. These are ideal for people looking for minimalist shoes and/or looking to transition to zero drop shoes without archsupport. They are designed like the throwback 1985 Saucony bullet track spikes to be ultralight and thin. The sole in the forefoot is thin, at about 4 mm and under the heel it is about 1 cm without the insert. These are also considerably lighter than the minimalist shoes made by merrell and do not cause the irritating abrasion on the back of your heels that many runners experience with Merrells. I recommend taking out the thickly cushioned insert and getting used to them that way (although you might need to leave them in for your longer runs at first). These have been absolutely awesome for road running/racing and make me feel like I am flying. The thin rubber on the soles has been surprisingly strong and I've been able to run over sharp rocks with them. Running on trails and rocky paths however is a bit painful still for my feet in these thin shoes, so I have to leave the inserts in when im on rough trails which blows because the inserts increase the thickness of the heel cushion considerably. I might find some thinner inserts for trail running or just run in a different shoe.

Great sneaks but thin. If you're in a cold climate and wearing these recreational, you may want to consider something a bit warmer.

Oh WOW this shoe is comfortable. I am in my pajamas wearing them as slippers this very minute. When not wearing them as slippers I am out scaling walls like a ninja. I wanted a slick looking casual sneaker and originally ordered the Asics Onitsuka Tiger 81, but I wasn't happy with the fit. I'm used to minimal/barefoot running and found the Tiger had too much restricting support. I sent the Tiger back and got the Saucony Bullets. I am sooo glad that I did. These could make a nice minimal running shoe, but they're too damn cool looking to put through too much abuse. And I doubt they are sturdy enough to handle long runs. They have a flat, thin sole but are still amazingly bouncy. I normally wear 10.5 but went up to a 11 as suggested by other customers, and they fit perfect. I haven't ever had a pair of sneakers this comfortable and this slick looking. I'm sticking with the Bullets for life.

I now own 3 pairs of this shoe model because I absolutely love them. If you're taking a cold turkey leap from super-padded running shoes to these, I can understand the shock and the complaints about lack of padding and support, but these are my shoes of choice for walking around in all day long, and I've trained for and run in two short distance races [a 5K and an 8K] in two of the three pairs. Two of mine are fully of the suede-like material [I can't remember if it's actually suede or not] and the other has the mesh inserts. Admittedly, I've worn the pair with mesh inserts the least, but they all seem to be holding up very well.

These are the shoes I was looking for, something low profile, inexpensive and stylish! As I expected the sole in the forefoot is very thin (you can definitely feel the ground through them) something I like that others may not. I also have a slightly narrower foot so they fit perfectly at my normal size.

I have had a pair of Original Bullets for three years now and they just keep going - outside of work, they are my go to shoes. Due to a foot injury I have to wear insoles all the time. I bought the Bullets because I wanted casual lightweight something to keep the insoles on and they feel like stylish socks for my insoles. They have far surpassed my expectations and now it is time for another pair! I have thrown them in the washing machine a couple of times and the leather on top actually wore thin (I have wide feet) before the sole got a hole in it.

These were the third consecutive pair of bullets that I've purchased from Zappos. I'm hooked. Each pair has lasted me almost a year which, in combination with such a lightweight design, is a pretty rare find. You owe it to yourself to own something this fresh.

Cool, comfy kicks that are like slippers for the sidewalk. The sole is thin enough to feel the ground with your toes, but the heel has just enough padding to allow you to walk around on concrete all day without leaving your legs aching.

I really like the Saucony Bullets. They are very stylish and durable. My last pair survived near-daily use for 18 months. I still wear them, they are just filthy. I especially like how lightweight these shoes are. Very comfortable to walk around in for extended periods, though I will be ordering a half-size larger next time. I bought these for my husband after buying a pair of the women's style for myself. We each wore them on a vacation where we walked hours a day and they are so comfortable. They are lightweight and the little burst of color looks pretty cool! I wear a 7.5 and don't have narrow or wide feet, I bought a 7.5 and the fit was perfect. Size was perfect for my husband's shoe as well!

I bought these shoes in the middle of a trip - the boots I brought with me were not making friends with some snowboarding damage I had done to my feet the week before. I love them. As a woman with wide feet, I have a hard time finding shoes that don't look clunky but that are still comfy. I have the black and yellow pair in size 8 and they look cool, retro, and low profile. I wear them all the time. I even started running in them too (I would love to run barefoot, but I haven't trained my feet yet. This is a stepping stone.) All in all great shoes. The only complaint - and it's really to be expected - is that if you are standing on cement all day, you get a bit tired. Otherwise they're dynamite.

I ordered the navy/cement color and the navy was much lighter color than the picture. Shoes are comfortable but little support.

The Bullet is a great shoe. It is super lite and super comfortable. The orange trim is bitchin'. They are not a magic good luck charm, as I have worn them to 2 Browns games and still no win -- but they do win over the ladies.

These shoes are great. Comfy, although not quite as comfy as the Jazz, but I think they look cooler. I did have to buy a 1/2-size up compared to the size I wore on the Jazz model.

This is my 6th pair of Saucony Bullets, so you can imagine how much I love these shoes. It's like being a polygamist since I still have them all and I take turns wearing them based on the day's outfit. Best walking shoe ever. Stylish, sexy, comfortable.

These are great shoes. They are super light and great for minimalist running shoes or just to wear around because they look good and they have a cool old school look. But if you are looking for shoes with a lot of padding these are probably not it. The heel has a little cushioning but the forward part of the sole has almost no cushioning but is still comfortable.

I have to say that these are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They're perfect for riding my bike to work every day or just wearing them casually. I definitely wouldn't run in these though. Like others have said, they offer little support. I have the Navy/Cement pair and the "cement" is definitely darker than pictured. The product shot online looks more cream colored. Anywho, I would highly recommend these for a simple, stylish, and lightweight casual shoe.

Wow, these sneakers are so comfortable. I put them on the minute I received them. They are so soft on the feet, and especially since I have a heel spur, they are very soft. I love them, and I highly recommend them. Thank you Zappos for the fast shipment.

So comfortable to walk. The arch support is incredible. Money well spent.

Great looking and feeling shoe, but it was too narrow for my feet. My feet made them look bulged out on the sides.

Great fit, low profile and insanely durable. I have worn these off and on for over 3 years with the laces tied and the leather on the achilles has never ripped or cracked where I slide my heel in. I bought a back up pair and I can't see myself ever needing to break them out. Great sneakers.

Great shoe -- lightweight, very comfortable, and stylish without looking commonplace. I've received a lot of compliments on these kicks, and they've become a favorite.
