I had previously purchased this watch in a woman's version and I love it. It is understated and outdoorsy (just like me)! My boyfriend wanted one for himself, so for Christmas, that's what Santa brought. My watch kept perfectly accurate time all the way across Spain last year, as I walked 500 miles with it on my wrist. It never let me down and still looks brand new. It was also helpful, with one push of a button, to know the time in my home country while traveling abroad. That way, I didn't wake anyone by calling in the middle of the night! A great watch!

This is a great watch for the money. It keeps perfect time and love the light on it at night time. It seems to be tough, I should know because I hunt or fish most of the year and it's as good as the day I first got it.

Functional and Priced Accordingly - The timex expedition chrono alarm watch is functional, durable, and priced right for daily activities. Previously owned a similar timex watch in which latest 10 years, thus giving reason to make the same purchase.

So far so good. I have had the watch for about a month now and it is holding up great. It has been mountain biking, snowboarding, running, and much more, and is holding up great. I really like the Velcro wrist band. It does not get all slimy like the rubber bands do. It is the only watch I have found in a long time that can withstand the abuse I put my watches through.

Better than a Rolex - I have owned this watch for 15 years and never changed the battery. I have sailed and turtled a few times in the Caribbean, competed in a triathlon, climbed a 10,000ft mountain and always had my Expedition Chrono Alarm Timex on my wrist. Whenever I travel I wear it and know that if I lose it I can get another one and not stress the cost. My fancy watches continue to gather dust and their batteries stop every other year or so. I highly recommend this watch over a Rolex or Patek Phillipe.

I like the cloth band, just wish there were more of this type watches available with some color thrown in. It all works as expected.

I purchased this watch for my husband this past Christmas. As he is fussy about watches, he liked it immediately. It's not too big where is overpowers his wrist. He has a smaller wrist and it looks very nice. The strap is comfortable and stylish and the face is easy to see. This watch would even look good on a woman's wrist as well. We do a lot of bike riding and it is the perfect watch for casual and outdoor activities.

We got this watch for my son for a holiday gift, he loves it. He is 8, the only problem is it is a little too big and you cannot change the band because it is attached to the watch. But he does not mind, so I do not mind. But it is worth mentioning. It is much easier for him to take on and off than his other watch.

This watch is well made and a good price. I bought it for my 13 year old nephew and he loves it. He likes that it has 3 alarms.

I have had this watch for two months now and really enjoy its ease of use and simple style. I bought it for timing my swimming and jogging as I prepare for a triathlon, which is not for another 6 months, but the watch is great for the price.

I've had this watch about a month and so far, so good. I like the functional simplicity of the watch, it's easy to use and it's comfortable to wear.

It's harder than it should be to find a simple, functional, durable watch that isn't some obnoxious color. I can't speak to its longevity yet because sadly I lost mine, but I liked it enough to buy it again!

I like this watch. Good features, straightforward and doesn't feel cheap. My main complaint is the face. My main complaint is that the plastic face seems to scratch easily, probably because it is not recessed or protected by a bezel. Not too worried about the fashion of it, but now my watch is scratched in several spots and hard to read (and I don't usually smash my wrist against concrete walls, rocks, etc).

Overall a good watch, with two exceptions. If you workout with it, the band absorbs sweat and after awhile will start to smell. But it is easy to wash it, or shower with it. It takes awhile to dry, but not too bad. The bigger issue, and to me it is inexcusable, is that when you are done timing your laps, miles, etc, you can NOT go back and review them. It does not have a recall function. After a long run or a race, I like to go back and write down my splits. You cannot do that with this watch. All other Timex watches I've had can do this, but this one cannot, which is very disappointing.
