Great shoes! These shoes are great! My daughter had a pair without the velcro and it was a constant struggle to get them on and she didn't wear them a lot. Now she does and loves 'em!

Awesome sandal! These sandals are the best. They are super comfortable and look good with all sorts of outfits. They are definitely high quality and worth every penny.

Great - These sandals are tough. We haven't had them for very long, but they seem like they will hold up really well. I ordered 2 sizes and ended up keeping the larger. I wanted to give her some room to grow.

Great shoe... even for wide feet! My daughter loves her new Keens... and they were put to the test immediately with 4 hardcore days around Disneyland. She only wore them a couple of times before we went, but they worked out great - no blisters or sores. She also is slightly wide and these were very forgiving. Highly recommend!

My daughter loves them! I'm so glad I "bit the bullet" and bought these for my 11 yr old daughter! She loves them! She can wear them everywhere - even when she waded into the salty lake to go fishing. They just rinse clean. I'll buy her another pair next summer - just wish I'd have done it in May, not July!

Kid’s keens - These shoes have been awesome for the summer. All of my children have them and have worn them in the lake all summer as well as to play ball in the street.

GREAT SHOE - Very comfortable for walking, hiking anything. Good support and great fit. Awesome shoe and waterproof and durable.

Happy in Humboldt - I bought the Keen Kid's Newport H2 for my daughter Emily and she loves it. She hasn't taken them off since they arrived. We live near the beach and I thought they'd be good for hiking to the ocean, but she's worn them to school daily, playing soccer at recess, and even likes to wear them to her softball games! I have yet to see how they do with small rocks at the river, but so far we're both happy. I bought a pair for myself, too.

Great summer shoe - Perfect alternative to sneakers or sandals in the summer. The protection on the toe (all Keens) and the new addition of the heel protection on the H2's are great for bike riding. Yet the open designs allow the foot to breathe. The velcro helps keep the shoe snug.

The New H2 is a VAST improvement over the kid’s Newport. I love keens for myself and have several pair. Last summer I got the Newports for my daughter. Although they were comfortable and wore well, they were VERY hard for her to get on (nearly 7 years old so not that young) and even hard for me to help her get on. The "hole at the top is small and snug which is great once you have it on but makes it really hard to get there. The biggest change in the H2 is that the velcro strap at the top opens up the entire top of the shoe. VERY easy to get on now. The instep/width can still be adjusted with the bungee cord. The heel is enclosed on this style. Also, the upper is the same webbing as the adult version which is a big improvement (the Newport has a plastic-y upper) -- more comfortable and more attractive now as well as super easy to get on. Yea! I'm getting them for both my girls. Oh, and like the adult keens, these run a good half size smaller than normal. One improvement I would make is to add longer velcro to the strap -- we're right near the end when we tighten it.

Way too wide for my kiddo’s foot but we love Keen shoes. Went with the Seacamp II instead. Seacamp II is navy shoe in the pic, Newport H2 is light teal both are size 5

Not sure about quality compared to past shoes purchased. 1st pair, one strap was way to long resulting in shoe being too loose. Zappos was great and got out replacement pair next day. Now my daughter has worn them a couple times a week for 3-4 weeks and the Velcro and canvas are starting to unravel. We purchased the same pair two years ago and she wore them for two years no problems. We will be lucky if they last past this summer. Husband bought a new pair this year too and the toes are misshapen. I have an older pair, I would only buy them if I could check them out in a store 1st.

They seem to fit well, my son has a narrow foot so Velcro doesn’t always stay as it is pulled all the way over.

These are super comfy for my almost 7 year old. She loves that she can tighten them and just tuck in the strap. They are perfect for school in the warmer weather because they let your feet breathe and are great for gym and outdoor recess. They do smell a little after just one use and I am gonna see how they wear as we go. But so far, these are def keepers!

"I like these shoes because they let my feet breathe." Daughter age 7. I loved these shoes because they wear so well and give lots of support for on the go activities. They clean up in a breeze and don't get stinky. (Got another brand last year and didn't have the same result!) Great shoe for summer and on into fall. Great for activities like Karate where you take shoes off. Love them.

Great sandals! My kids wear them all summer long. Both kids have flat feet and these shoes were recommended by their podiatrist.

Keens are generally awesome and this pair is no exception. My daughter loves them and they will be perfect for the summer. I have noticed that Keens tend to run small but this pair runs true to size. We didn't need to size up and if anything she actually has some room to grow into them. Love them!

Perfect summer shoe for active feet! More protection than sandals, good for a wider foot, easy on and off. Love the new pattern.

I bought these Keens for one granddaughter's birthday and was immediately asked by another granddaughter for them for her birthday. They're adorable, durable and easy to get on and off. Love them!

Our 10-year-old daughter had been begging for Keens for a couple of months but I was hesitant to spend this much on sandals. I finally gave in and I'm so glad I did! They arrived right before our family vacation to the Grand Canyon and she wore them right out of the box with no blisters or sore spots and has worn them nearly every day this summer - including a whole week of outdoor summer camp (in and out of mud, streams, etc). Love these!

I love these shoes. They come in very handy for walking and playing just about anywhere. Highly recommend them. Not itchy, too tight or too loose; just right!

This is a great shoe. My daughter wears them to camp, the lake and around town. They stay on her narrow feet.
