I'd heard wonderful things about Keens. I bought these for my 6 year-old very active daughter. She's had them exactly a month and they smell terrible! I'm throwing them in the wash, but I'm also checking into returning them. I understand they are going to smell, but I thought it'd take longer than a month and the summer's not even here yet.

Hard to fit - This shoe runs small and is pretty snug. Not easy for a child to put on.

I am usually a big Keen fan, our whole family wears them in the summer. However, this pair in the toddler 10 has been awful. My daughter is old enough to put on her own shoes, but these have a difficult strap that has to be snaked through a loop, and then the clasp tightened--too complicated for toddlers old enough to put shoes on by themselves yet not patient or clever enough to handle these clasps. My 8 yr old does fine with it. Poor design for 4 year olds--recommend design change.

We've owned several pairs of Newports over the years. They're great for the summer. The Newports are great for running through wet playgrounds and sprinklers and dry quickly. The rubber sole is very durable and the shoes last the season if not several kids wearing them over the years.

Bought these for all 3 kids every year. They hold up longer than that but they outgrow them. They run just a touch wide so for my youngest with skinnier feet we switched to the keen sea camp which run a touch narrow.

These are my kiddos go-to sandals for summer. They wear them non-stop. My kids have wide/chubby feet and these are great for that!!

My daughter loves these shoes. They fit true to size. They must rub a little at first (of course she has been wearing nothing but flip flops) so she wear little "no show" socks and get along just fine!

My daughter loves these sandals and they are the perfect summer shoes to wear at daycare due to their closed toes, durability, and comfort. This is the second pair of Newport H2s I purchased for her and I will continoue to buy a pair every year as long as they are available.

Love these shoes. Must be cute and comfy because I've gotten no complaints from my 4 year old. A little hard to get on at first but they've gotten easier. No stubbed toes and work great in and out of the water.

These are simply the best summer shoes for kids. Great for playgrounds, running around, beach, water parks, etc - the shoes are comfy, they stay on, and protect little toes. They also hold up really well. Unlike big box store knock-offs, these still look great after a whole season of daily wear. We've even passed them down to kid #2 and gotten 2 summers out of each pair. Well worth the extra money over the knock-off versions that fall apart. The only downside, since they are synthetic they do get pretty stinky - we've found that leaving them out in the sun for a bit takes care of most of the stink.

These are great shoes. My daughter can easily get them on/off herself, and they protect their little toes from playgrounds and sidewalks. Zappos as usual delivered in record time.

Great summer shoes for kids. One shoe covers it all - sneaker, water shoe and sandal all in one.

I love these shoes and buy them every summer for both my kids. They are great year round and waterproof. They tend to run small. So you may want to go up a size. I always order them through Zappos they are very competively priced, carry more styles and are easy to deal with. These particular shoes are too cute, I was afraid they might be too busy, but they go great with everything my little one wears.

5+ stars for Zappos! I ordered these yesterday at 6pm and just had them delivered! Not even 24hrs! Thank you and great job! About the shoes, my 5yr old is very picky when it comes to sandals. This is our first year with Keen and this is her 3rd pair. Great shoes! Hopefully we have covered all the wardrobe colors now!

These shoes are amazing. Have had Keens for my 5 year old ever since I discovered them at 1. We do the summer and the closed ones for school. It's the only every day shoe you need. The design is cute and easy for kids to put on independently. I always size up 1 and kids grow into them easily. The adjustability helps. This shoe lasts! These have also made great hand me downs for cousins. All around, the best money I spend each time!

So cute and so comfy! This is the 7th summer of Newports for my kids and they love them! They are so sturdy we pass them on to cousins after the summer and they still look brand new.

These shoes I buy for all my girls age 2 and 5 to wear to the park or outside to play. They wash up amazingly and are so comfy. Love them.

We have purchased these for a couple of years. Love the toe covered, washable and fast drying.

My daughter has extremely sensitive skin and Crocs, natives and other rubbery shoes irritate her poor little feet. She is four and likes these and so far so good with the skin irritation. They are waterproof but I don't know how they will hold up at the splash parks and such this summer. I think they run small.

Great everyday shoe for playing. My kids dislike socks in the summer so this shoe goes in place of a tennis shoe. Had these last year and there was no question about getting them again, even though they are pricey.

We love these shoes! I bought some for my 2 year old and they have been perfect. She has no trouble with tripping in them and never complains that her feet hurt. They have never made blisters and she loves playing in them. I just ordered another pair for my 4 year old.

My 5 yr. old daughter loves these because she can go for land to water without changing shoes. I love them because toes and feet are protected, yet offers ventilation during hot summer months.

Great shoe! Well worth the price. I buy both my girls a pair of these every summer and they always look great, even into the fall season. Very sturdy.
