Barberry red dye stains feet! I love Keen shoes, but avoid this color. After my daughter first wore these hiking and it rained, the shoes died her feet bright red. I was SO upset that this dye was in her skin! I tried to soak and rinse the dye out over 20 times because we were on vacation and needed the shoes, but still, the water ran bright red.

These are wonderful sandals in lots and even most ways. The one huge negative thing about them is that when my daughter wears them the sandals make her feet sweat profusely. The rubber sole and the rubber that wraps up and over the toes does not allow enough air to cool her feet. We got them for her to wear every day this summer but every time her feet become very wet (up at her toes) that she has to take them off. Isn't anyone else having this problem??? I was going to buy myself a pair but now I'm not....I am giving only one star because even if they are made great and look great how is she supposed to enjoy wearing them?
