LOVE these sandals. Purchased for my 6 yr old to wear to summer camp. Super cute and most importantly daughter said they were like wearing sneakers. Normally shoes are a battle, not after purchasing these. She did say her feet sweat in them however they wash fantastically. I threw them in the washing machine once a week and still they look like they just came out of box.

These shoes are the best for an active child! Water and land, the shoes are flexible and of high quality. My daughter loves playing in the sand so the slits are perfect. When she takes them of I simply shake the rest of the sand out - the shoe is pretty simply made (read: not cheap, just quality materials that we well put together) so there aren't weird nooks or uncomfortable folds to the shoe so cleaning is easy. It also supports my daughter's foot very well. We have bought a new pair every summer for her. I wouldn't get any other kind of sandal for her to play in.

I ordered these shoes for my 3 1/2 year old. She was wearing a 10 at the time, and I thought I would order her an 11. I got worried and thought they would be way too big. Since I needed these for vacation, and ordered a 10 as well. When they got here the 10 just barely fit and the 11 was perfect. They are a big hard to get on and off, but we don't mind. We had bought cheaper closed toes sandals and they wore out really quickly. These are holding up better than any other pair of shoes she's owned, other than Crocs which are just indestructible.

Keen kids are great! I bought a pair for each of my granddaughters (ages 2 & 5) and they love them. Zappos is awesome! We exchanged the rainbow colored Keens for these. I'd recommend the fabric/neoprene versions of Keens over the rubbery/croc material. They seem to be of better quality and didn't rub against the bottom of my daughter's ankle bone like the rubbery ones did. We are both very happy with these! As usual Zappos customer service was top notch in assisting our exchange. Love Zappos!

Best summer shoes for my twin 5 year old daughters, they live in them! I bought another style of Keen's that I had to return since the ankle strap hurt their feet, but this style has soft, flexible fabric along the back side of the foot, very comfortable and durable. And, although this blue color is light, it hasn't shown the dirt like I thought it would. Love these!

Very cute shoe! I bought these for my grand daughter for camp after seeing another girl there wearing them. Ordered them one day and received them the next! They have survived 2 weeks at camp in the woods and still look like new. They are true to size, roomy and sturdy but light and cool enough to trek through the summer. This is the 4th pair of Keens that I have purchased for her plus 2 pair for myself. The velcro strap is adjustable which is perfect for my grand daughter's high instep.

Ordered this specifically because of the sole coming up over the toes. My daughter is at the age where she stops her bike & scooter with the toes of her shoes. Grrrr...These barely have a mark after a couple of months. She has no trouble getting them on quickly and she says they're really comfortable. The rubber over the top may not be the best looking, but its so worth it not to have to buy a new pair of sneakers every few weeks when the tops get worn off.

I buy a pair of Keen Newport sandals every year for my grandson.They have a perfect fit with the strap across the foot and the slide up the middle.This is a tough wearing shoe and lasts all summer without being replaced.It has just the look he likes in a shoe.His Newports took him all over Disney World with happy feet and no complaints.

More daughter loves the multi-colored sandals. They are a bit wide but are comfortable and look nice. So far she has managed to not have them smell too bad either. This is an issue even with sandals so we really like them

As the mother of an active 10 yr old son who is absolutely hard on clothing and shoes, I am looking for all terrain shoes for the summer. These look like they will fit the bill. Have to admit, we needed to be patient as they were out of stock when I ordered and I was so anxious about getting them that I called. Bought these based on feedback of other parents and other reviews. Did have a funky smell when first out of the box. Wore them immediately and right away got them caked in dirt. Popped them in the washing machine and came out fine. Dried in no time at all and the funky smell was gone. Like the bungie cord velcro deal and the blue color. The wideness in the front is appreciated as is the what I call the front end bumper-toe protection. Turning out to be a great summer shoe.
