Great Big-Guy Shoe -
I'm 210...I love the padding in the forefoot of this shoe. It looks hot and performs even hotter! I was a little taken back at the fluffiness of the top of the tongue, but it's quite comfortable.

Shoe felt good from the first run. Wide in the forefoot and narrow heel

Saucony Triumph 4 -
Went from a Triumph 3 to the Triumph 4. The 4 is noticeably more comfortable and smoother. Being a forefoot striker, these were exactly what I needed. Although the choice of colors is limited, I chose the white/royal for it’s toned down appearance. I definitely enjoy the Triumph 4's over the 3's. My 3's held up extremely well and hoping the 4's will do the same.

Great Long Run Shoe -
I have been using this model shoe for over 7 months now and have yet to find a better shoe for a max cushion neutral. Wide toe box which I prefer.

Feels better than it looks -
Excellent support and comfort, heel to toe. Toe is too voluminous for my feet, but everything else is just snug enough. If "looks" make you feel faster afoot, these won't do it for you. Otherwise it is a nice shoe.

Super soft ride -
I have been running in Asics Nimbus for years. The Triumph 4 is a softer ride. I didn't like the fit of the upper as well as the Nimbus unfortunately, it's not as comfortable.

Saucony Progrid -
A good shoe for those with underpronation and high arches. The mesh toe box expands and breaths well to avoid calluses.

2nd review -
I did an earlier review ("feels better than it looks") and felt obligated to add to my comments. Now that I've worn these awhile, they have developed a lot of "slop" in the construction of the heel and the forefoot. Also, the edge of the tongue abrades and creates blisters on the top of one foot (yes, I wear socks). It's so bad that I've discarded these shoes, which cost me about $130+ with taxes, etc.

Not like the Original!!
If you were a big fan of the first 2 versions of the Saucony Triumph i do not think you will like this shoe. I think that incorrectly we the public and shoe companies also, use the term excellent cushioning when what we really mean and want is excellent shock absorption. The Triumph 4 is an excellent cushioning shoe, it feels like you are running on two huge pillows, does that also mean excellent shock absorption. NO! If you are a heavy runner and are expecting the shock absorption you experienced with the original triumph you will be very disappointed. Add to the fact that you must get this shoe a half size larger, if you are over a size 12 that means a full size larger. Now you have two large pillows on your feet. Once again each step will feel like you are running on huge cushions, and your joints will feel each one. Once again a great shoe that was not broke...why did Saucony have to go and fix it!!!!

Original Triumph if you can find it
