I got this for my boyfriend as his Christmas gift. The 'Forest Wool' is just a super dark green color (like forest color) and the fabric is actually a wool fabric. I don't mean the strap on top of the shoe or the parts that appear 'shiny' or lighter compared to the dark patches, but the 'patches' is a wool-type material. But still, I recommend it and to go a half size up. Zappos ships super fast and I got it within 4-5 days plus they have a lot more shoe options for men compared to some other places.

Just to start off. I'm not that much of a picky person but I always have a hard time finding the exact item I want. So I have been looking for this pair of sneakers for a while and couldn't find them anywhere. Then I came across Zappos and they were the only place that had the exact ones I wanted. So I called up because I'm one of those people that's just not big with online ordering and the guy (D) that helped me...was mad cool. I got them next day. Which I still can't believe. There was nothing wrong with them and my friends said I did it again. It was a perfect ordeal.

Comfortable. Looks nice. Buy a little bigger because the shoe runs small. It's leather so it will crease and buy a protectant spray to maximize the useful life of the shoe.

I ordered these shoes for my son on Monday. On Tuesday afternoon, I chatted with an online customer service rep to change the size after hearing that they run small. The size/color combo I wanted wasn't available, but I picked the closest replacement. On Tuesday, I was notified that my order had shipped. On Wednesday morning, before 8:00 a.m., my order had arrived. I want to know how Zappos does that?! I live in a fairly rural area so this was just so surprising to me. I don't buy shoes anywhere else. My son loves these shoes so everyone's happy. Thanks again, Zappos, you've earned a customer for life.

I got this as a christmas gift for my boyfriend because he is extremely fond of Creative Recs shoes. I was worried about the fabric and how it would look. But when it arrived, in a timely fashion, I actually liked how it looked. The fabric portion is actually a wool-type fabric and the color looks great. It is not too dark, nor too light. The only thing is do not spill liquids on these shoes. I can only imagine how hard they would have been to clean. Nonetheless, my boyfriend loved them and wears them. I like them because he wears them.

The shoes are amazing. I bought them for my husband and he loved them. I was most amazed with the Zappos service. When they say it gets here quick that is an understatement! I love it!

As I read the email asking me to review these shoes, I noticed that I was wearing them at the time. Overall these turned out just as I expected. I already own the Eggplant Cesario Lo's, and loved them so much I wanted to try the Hi's, just in black. As usual, Zappos service was fast (they even bumped my shipping up a level, still for free), and the shoes came brand new in box and flawless in condition. A great buy, from a great brand, from a great provider. Definitely continuing to buy from Zappos in the future.

So fresh! I went with the Black Perfs and they look even better in person. This is my first pair of Creative Recs so I didn't know what to expect but after receiving these I'm hooked. The shoes felt true to size. I ordered the shoes on Sunday morning and received them on Wednesday with Zappos free shipping. It doesn't get any better than that. Zappos rocks!

Love the shoes (black perfs), they do run about a half to a full size smaller. Definitely worth the purchase, received many compliments on them. Don't think twice, don't hesitate, go for it! You won't regret buying. Promise.

Okay, the shoe itself is super easy to clean. It felt very comfortable and can be worn in skaterish and also dress up way.

So dope. Being from the Midwest (Chitown) nobody really rocks Creative Recs around these parts. You stand out for all the right reasons with these. Sick material, nice slim fit, and superb color-way on these make the Cesario one of my new go-to's.

These shoes are awesome--they look sexy and are comfortable (as long as you get 1/2 size or 1 size up). I wear size 11 but size 11 in this shoe was way small. I ordered 12s and they're perfect.

My husband loves them! Goes with so many diff clothes! It's his 3rd pair of Rec's and he's very happy to have shoes that look nice and are comfortable, but not to dressy or too casual and just right.

The fit is definitely a half size smaller. Go the extra half size up when purchasing. I\'ve bought 7 pairs so far. I\'ve noticed with the earlier brands of Creative Recreations they\'re a bit tighter. When you get to the more new styles they feel a little more true to size. However you should still go half size up always, you\'ll be alot happier with the fit 100%. Enjoy these sneakers! They\'re addictive!
