A Rough Beginning to a Beautiful Friendship - When I first got these shoes I was headed out to door for a week of vacation. I usually have excellent luck with Keens, so I popped them on and proceeded to drive for 8 hours The result? Terrible blisters and hot spots. I felt so betrayed I barely wore them for the rest of my vacation. However, flip flip weather soon ended and I was faced with giving these another chance or submitting to the struggle of socks and sneakers. Longing for ease of use, I chose to give these another go and I was not disappointed. My feet and the shoes adjusted nicely to each other and these quickly became my go-to shoes for fall. They look great with everything and are comfortable with or without socks. Unlike most Keen shoes I've owned, these do run a bit big and now that I've broken them in a bit I sort of wish they were a half size smaller, though they were "just right" when brand new. If you get these shoes and are dismayed by the blisters or hot spots they create, I suggest sticking with it and giving the shoes a chance to adjust to your feet and vice versa. The comfort and style are second to none.

Great Shoe - This is a very comfortable shoe and I love it. I wore them to a podiatry appt. and the doctor told me they were too soft and did not offer good support. That being said, my feet feel great in them and they don't hurt at the end of the day.

This is my second pair of Keen shoes and I just love their comfort. The color I bought is Chipper, which I like and the Mary Jane style is really cute. This style is more flattering than others I tried on as the sole is not so chunky looking. I got compliments on them the first time I wore them. I usually wear a size 9 but ended up buying these in an 8.5. I also love dealing with Zappos. Their policy of free shipping both ways makes it so easy to try on different shoes and keeps me coming back.

I think the "order a half-size smaller" advice is right-on. These are quite comfortable, even though they feel a smidge too big on my feet (next time, I'll follow others' advice and go down a half-size). The day I got them, I wore them to a concert where I was on my feet all night, and my feet never hurt or got so much as a blister. A few weeks later, I wore them on a trip to NYC where I was walking all day, every day, and they proved great for that, too. This is my first pair of Keens, and I'll very likely be trying another pair next time I'm looking for something like these.

Satisfactory - I originally ordered these half a size smaller as per recommendations and ended up re-ordering my actual size. It's a big wide, but not so much that it makes it difficult to walk; it just makes them comfortable. Very cute, comfy shoe and I get lots of compliments. Only con is that they don't breathe so well in the heat and the sole is somewhat hard, but an insole helped with both problems. I love them!

A bit too wide - The shoes are sooo cute, but my feet are sooo narrow. I put my orthotics in them and heel cushions and they are still kind of wide. I may try wearing them with tights this fall. If a B-width is kind of iffy for you, try Keens on in the store first.

Love this shoe - This shoe is terrific. I think I've worn them just about every day since I purchased them (about 2 wks now). I've worn them mostly w/o socks and they are very comfortable w/o any slippage or blistering. I ordered my size and they fit perfectly. I also purchased a pair of the Sienna ballet slipper in the same size. They required a bit more breaking in, I needed to wear a heel blister bandage to prevent chafing, but that was resolved after about 3 days of sockless wearing. Both shoes are great if you find yourself on your feet a lot during the day.

Great everyday shoe - I wear these shoes almost every day. They're very comfy and go with jeans, sweats, etc. I also love that I can slip them on and go without having to worry about laces. I have them in two colors. I highly recommend them.

So comfortable... like slippers - I commute on foot. I walk an average of 2 miles a day and have found these shoes to be great. They were incredibly comfortable, right out of the box. There was no "breaking-in" time and no blisters. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller as recommended and it's a perfect fit, though it should be noted that I wear them sockless or with tights/stockings. They would be long enough, but not wide enough, to accommodate thicker socks. They're also super cute!!! They can be dressed up or down. As always Zappos was awesome. I received my order within 24 hours!!!

Marvelous MJs! I LOVE these shoes! I have a pair of the RYKA Versas, which I also love, but they have velcro that wears out after awhile. I wanted to try these to avoid the velcro problem and they deserve all of the raves they have gotten! True to fit (order down 1/2 size). Comfortable from the get-go. After a few days of owning them, I taught kids ALL DAY on my feet and felt great!

Great, but not good for thick socks plus rec'd insole - I love those cushy Thorlos socks Zappos sells, but these shoes do really need a nice insole for arch support & padding and that makes the space in the shoe snug for wearing thicker socks. Other than that caveat, I'm really happy with these guys and the apple is such a happy color.

Worth every penny - I was told about these shoes by a district manager for my company. I am a hairstylist and, as you know we are on our feet pretty much all day long. I needed a shoe that was comfortable without the orthopedic look. These shoes are perfect if you are on your feet. I couldn't believe that I could order a shoe online and have it fit right. As stated in other reviews you should order a half size smaller. I have a wide foot and was concerned about this. I am glad I listened to the reviews; I was able to start wearing my shoes the next day when they came in. That’s right they did come the next day as stated. This is a great convenience for me. I will be purchasing another pair this month; again they are worth every penny!!!!!

Great Shoes - These shoes run a little big (just a little) but are perfect with little thicker socks. They are comfortable from the beginning. Great shoes!

Great Shoe and Great Service - The shoe is very comfortable, yet cute. I have received many compliments. I love the service from Zappos. They are very patient and helpful over the phone.

Love It - This is such a nice shoe. It's very light, very comfortable right out of the box, and my usual size 8 fit perfectly. I wear it barefoot or with light socks, but could wear slightly heavier socks with it. It has support and I'd say moderate arch support; not as much over-all support as the Presidio, but that really is a sturdy walking shoe. You can walk a lot in this, too (and I am a walker). Also makes your foot look small and very dainty. Yet the toe box is roomy enough to be completely comfortable. They remind me of traditional Chinese shoes, a great design. My heel stays in and doesn't slip out. Just wore it for Christmas Eve dinner (with bright pink socks) with friends. Forgot I had them on, just like slippers with an outdoor sole and inner Keens support. Am tempted to buy another pair. That says it all.

Love these Mary Janes! I have hard to fit feet, flat arch, and went from a size 10 to 10.5 because of this. These shoes were perfect right out of the box. I have a medium width foot and they were a bit big, nothing a pair of socks didn't fix. I ordered these in black and tan, sent the tan ones back - too plain. Love the black ones! Perfect weekend shoe!

Barcelona Mary Jane - I love these shoes! I walked around Disney Land for four days in them without any problems! I would definitely purchase them again. I did order a half size smaller as suggested.

Finally an "over-the-counter" shoe with a European toe box! I confess I actually tried on this shoe in a local store because I was desperate for something to be easy on-off in the airport. I also have notoriously wide feet and generally only buy European shoes. Oh, did I mention that I also had a broken toe at the time? This shoe met all the stipulations! I was extremely surprised and pleased! I came home and ordered it from Zappos because they had the color I wanted in the size I needed and got it to me the next day. (My local store said I needed to wait 2 weeks that I didn't have to wait.) I am very pleased to have found both Keen and Zappos!

Almost better than barefoot - Best Keens ever, no clown toe, but still roomy enough in the toe box. Comfy right out of the box. Great for high arch or slightly narrow heel and wide toe box people.

Cute but comfortable - Probably the most comfortable Mary Jane around. Cute enough for casual day at work, but comfortable enough for a day's shopping. I did find that the horizontal seam on the heel rubbed me a bit (I have narrow heels), but a little moleskin over it took care of that. I have high insteps, but the strap doesn't dig in at all, and neither does the toe box. Good arch support, and the shoe accepts other inserts if you need them. The suede is soft and flexible, which keeps the edges from rubbing too much. This shoe does run long--I normally wear a 9, but needed an 8-1/2. That felt a little short in the toe at first, but it quickly loosened after wearing them for a day. I bought the black, but am thinking about getting it in red, too!

Really great shoe! This is my second pair of this shoe; my first was in another color. This is a great shoe for anyone who has a wider foot. I always purchase Keen brand shoes a 1/2 size smaller than my regular size and they always fit just great.

Runs large - This shoe runs about a 1/2 size large, really comfortable even after 8 hours on your feet. Good arch support for my plantar fascia.

Perfectly comfortable. After a bad experience w/ Keen Sophia shoe (ballet flat style, slipping out of the heel when walking), I was hoping the strap would make the difference w/ the Barcelona. I ordered size 10 (I range from 10 to 11 in shoe sizes) and they fit perfectly (just loose enough and no slippage) and I have absolutely no complaints about comfort. Yay!
