I am happy with my Keen purchase, as always, but I must confess I was surprised to find that the "shoelace" in the Arroyo is a solid cord, not the elastic strap I have found in all my previous Keens. I find the tension on the "shoelace" slacks off very often and requires re-tightening on a regular basis. Not a deal-breaker, but a bit of a surprise.

I bought these shoes as an experiment to support my ever changing foot structure and high arch problems. The wider toe box and more rigid soles provide the support and room the my feet require. Also my custom orthotics fit into the shoe further helping the cause, overall a very comfortable and supportive shoe. I am pleased with my purchase.

I bought these with the refund I received after another Keen style came apart after only 3 months of urban walking. I was skeptical of another Keen product as there are those reviews that go something like, "I've had Keens for years, this is my third pair but the quality is no longer there." Hopefully these last longer. So far they are comfortable. If anything, they are a bit wide, and I have a wide foot. The cord lock elastic lace works well but tends to work loose and requires frequent tightening during extended walking and I have it drawn as tight as it can go on my foot. At that point, the plastic lace end knob flops around when I walk, almost touching the ground. But I tied a knot in the lace end to shorten it and it works fine. These will meet my needs for a summer of village exploring in Europe, but I will not use these on a trail. Despite the sturdy sole, the comfortable width and easy elastic lace, they do not provide me with the support found in shoes with a full (not sandal) upper.

The only shoes I wear in the summer. They fit perfectly, look good, and are comfortable. Nuff said

The tying mechanism does not give you a good, tight fit. I was constantly stopping to pull the strings tighter. These would be better with regular tie shoelaces.

With the Men's Arroyo II I get the best of both worlds, they keep my feet cool in the dog days of summer and they are so incredibly comfortable.
Keen you guys have done it again, your shoes are my favorite, thank you for making a superior product that also looks really good!

I am a long time Keen fan, and like the Arroyo but if I get a second pair I would go down a half size.

These are the best "shoes" I have ever owned. They were an excellent fit right out of the box. I typically wear size 13 but the Keen recommendation based on my purchase history (something I've never encountered) was for size 12; I swallowed hard and, against my usual temperament, followed the recommendation, fully expecting to find them to tight.

Super surprised by the fit: I have a super narrow size 10 foot w/arch as high as St. Louiss and this hybrid hiking sandal fits true to size, is quite supportive, snug/secure/no heel slippage, very grippy sole = a superbly constructed, all-around versatile hiker I had a lucky guess would work. Am off to hike Denali/Alaskan trails, and now feel confident to do so.

Best pair of hiking shoes I've ever had. I bought these 8 years ago for the camino de Santiago. I got through 800km on the camino with them without a single blister. Extremely comfortable, well fitting. By the end the insole was a bit worn, and keen send me new insoles for free. Since then I've been hiking in then for 8 years and finally it's time for a new pair, which my wife just bought me for my birthday. Highly recommended

I enjoy the roomy shoe style in a sandal. The removeable bed is very appreciated so that I can use my custom orthotic.

Shoes are comfortable and extremely durable - they take years and years to wear out! I also greatly appreciate the friendly, fast and efficient return policy. I needed to exchange for a smaller size. Great job, Keen!

This shoe is a hybrid of a hiking shoe and a sandal. It covers and protects your feet more than a regular sandal, but it does have rigidity and absence of aeration as regular shoes do. High quality. Excellent grip and protection. Be careful with the size. Keen fails to mention that the shoe may run half a size larger. Im size 11, but feels 10 1/2 would have been better for this kind of shoe. 11 feels a little large on me.

These are a perfect fit, love the colors. Keens for me are the best fitting shoes I have ever owned. I still have an use a pair of hiking boots I purchased over 16 years ago and still comfortable with many many miles on them.

Second pair. Ive worn the first pretty much flat from insole to tread. Great hikers. Easy on and off. If they get wet they dry fairly quick except the liner takes a bit longer. Extremely durable! The only thing Ive replaced is the laces. No issues with stitching or rand. Love these sandals!
