Very comfortable and appear to be quite rugged. They are great in bad weather, warm and water proof. Also they required no break in period. I am pleased with them.

I have had these boots for over five years...all I can say is they still look and feel great. I wear them year round and they can take it. Buy these boots.

Awesome boot. I've had them for 1 year today, and wear them about every other day. I work as a field biologist so I hike on some rough stuff. It took a couple of months to break them in but since then, they've been as comfortable as I could've hoped for. They're a bit worn now but still completely waterproof, and still very comfortable. I'd recommend them wholeheartedly. Best boot I've had.

Best boot I have ever even thought of owning. I blew out my arch some time ago and need good support. Have a fairly wide foot. Asolos have caused some real problems for my feet. These have been the answer. Took them for a trip to Mount Rainier and put over 60 miles on them. Have never had a better time. Can\'t say enough good about them.

I love these...very comfortable, stylish, excellent wrapping system feels like gloves. A little slippery on wet terrain.

The Zamberlan Civetta GTs are great boots--the best I’ve owned. I have been using them for hiking and for getting around town this very snowy winter. The shoe is easy to get on and off. The fit is snug, but not painfully so if your foot is normal width. There was virtually no break in time, maybe an hour of time for me. One more thing. The service I received from Zappos was beyond belief. I have worked in guest services for 20 years, now--this was the best customer service I have ever received in my entire life--the company must be great to work for, because it shows in the care that was taken to deliver the shoes (1 day service) and in interaction I had with the guest services line when I called--I’ve told so many people how extraordinarily wonderful I found the service to be. I am a customer for life!

Love the Civettas. Very solid, very comfortable. Took them out of the box and on a 13-mile trip and they were terrific - one little heel blister, but I don\'t think that was their fault. I like the quality and expect to be wearing them for many years to come.

Very Pleased! I just bought my second pair. My first are about to turn nine years old. I wear these boots a lot. Three months ago I wore them down and up the Grand Canyon in one day. Yes, the leather is separating from the rubber but after nine years something has to give. The vibram soles still have life in them. I wore them for hiking and doing construction work. The large toe box makes this an excellent fitting boot.

So Happy I Made The Switch. Right out of the box these Civettas fit like a glove. A bit stiff, but after a 10 mile hike they were broken in. Never has any hot spots or blisters. Even stepped on a broken plank and ended up fully submerged in a river, these Civettas held up nicely, dried out within 2 hours inside and out. Wished my cellphone did that. I have 150 or more miles on them now and have no regrets as I'm a 1st time Chamberlan buyer. I used to wear Vasque for more than 20 years until the shipped their production to China. I have found their boots look the same but fall apart quickly. So I decided to give Chamberlan a try and have no regrets. Customer service via telephone order was outstanding at Zappos. Who'd of thought great customer service still existed in the U. S.? Again, these are outstanding midweight hikers, built to last and I would recommend these to anyone for cutting your lawn to hiking 25 or 30 miles on any terrain. Extremely comfortable.

This is the best boot I've ever worn, period. My first pair lasted about 2 years and the leather split just before where the toe rubber meets the sole...I'm very hard on boots. I live in Alaska and have put these boots though A LOT. Haven't had a repeat problem with the second pair, and I actually still wear the first, split, pair every day. Can't say enough. To say they fit like a glove doesn't begin to describe them! Great traction and support also.

Great boot! This is the second pair of this boot I have owned. Used as a work boot they are worn ALL day every day. Heavy enough construction to take years of abuse (first pair went 5+ years) yet not as heavy as a true work boot. Great mid-weight hiker too. Feet stay warm & dry in the winter and not too hot in summer. Great boot!

Best Hiking Boots I've Ever Owned - I am a geologist by trade, and do a lot of heavy hiking, packing rocks and dirt, mostly in wet mossy Alaskan terrain. Through the years I have worn many types of boots, most of them I am lucky to get a year or two out of. These boots lasted me 4 years. The soles are still ok, the only problem with them is the leather around the edge of the rubber toe near the sole has finally cracked to the boot lining. I am completely satisfied and am sold on Zamberlan.

This boot is well made. I find that the upper tie off doesn't snug the boot around the ankle, giving it the support that a high boot should have. I'm prone to wearing the high style boot and this was the only flaw that I noticed.

The App Trail is within a mile of my house on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Needless to say, I've tried many brands in my 65 years but find these hiking boots the best I've ever put on my feet (that includes army boots/combat service and long hikes with heavy packs). The Zamberlan Civetta GT exceeds my expectations in all regards, they are rugged and provide a hiker with all the factors needed for serious adventures. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought these about a decade ago and they are still going strong. Been to the arctic on the northern planes of AK down to the deserts of AZ, not to mention the daily wear and tear of 10+ years of yardwork and they show few signs of wear. Some cracking along the front but that's probably because i didn't waterproof them well enough on a few extended hikes. Completely sold on the company and the product. Not sure when these boots will give out but when they do I'll buy another pair.
