I don't normally order a WW but based on other's reviews I decided to order a WW instead of a W. I was very disappointed to find that the shoe was too short, and the WW was not wide enough.

I had my eye on this slingback in nude/black for quite a while and I panicked when it was sold out in the medium width. So I took a chance and purchased the narrow and it was still too wide! Also the strap that runs along the outer quarter of the shoe to form the heel strap was deformed and bowed out so significantly that it didn't even touch my foot. Really weird! I found that they didn't look as nice on my foot as they do in the picture and I didn't care for that top stitching at all. Trotters has inconsistent sizing. Earlier this year I purchased a pair of Trotters loafers in narrow and they were uncomfortably tight. So I have no idea what width to order now!

Cute shoe, but one shoe was very lose in back end, even with the strap on it's shortest setting. It could be tightened probably by punching another hole in strap, but there also, for me, not enough support. Will be returning this pair.

I am so sorry that these size 9S(AAA) were not the truly narrow shoes that I have purchased in the past. I own a pair of Trotters that are at least 10 years old and that 9S(AAA) really works. I have found this to be a problem with many shoe manufacturers today. I did find one pair of Munro Americans that were actually narrow enough, but unfortunately the shoe was too matronly for me. I keep trying!

These are well made shoes but they just hit my foot in the wrong places and were uncomfortable. I have one wide left foot and the right is a little shorter. I am forced into sling back or mule style dressy shoes, Lace up shoes are nearly as problematic. Thank heavens for Zappos!

Loved the shoe. Very comfortable...however...only wore occasionally and after 2 years and only about 20 wearings the strap broke. need to make these more durable. Will try to find a similar pair from another vendor that holds up better.

I normally wear a 7.5 and ordered 7.5 wide because I have found this style runs narrow in toe. My feet swam in these shoes. They ran very long. The width was ok but the toe box was very shallow and was not comfortable against my toes .
I did not exchange for better size because of the shallow toe box and the fact that the quilting was frayed all over . Quality was poor.

The fit is fine but a little too wide. The shoe is so wide the sides started getting scuff marks from the ground. Bottom sole needs to be wider to go with the top sides.

I will probably have to send them back. They hurt my feet. I will try to walk around the house to see if they get more comfortable, but it’s discouraging to read the positive reviews and find that they are not comfortable at least in the beginning when I put them on.

I got the black with black patent toe. These felt narrow in what there was of a toe box, and too short. That's saying something, because I got an 8 and can wear a 7-1/2 in most brands. And frankly, they just looked and felt cheap. I don't mind paying $100 for a good shoe, but these were definitely not worth $100.

This shoe is beautiful. Unfortunately, the AAA is not the narrow size I was hoping for. I own some 9 AAA Trotters from 10 years ago and they are a true narrow. The shoe manufacturers seem to not understand the need for really narrow shoes! If anyone has any suggestions for a current shoe that is truly narrow, I am all ears. I prefer sling backs if any of you remember the popular Ferragamo style from years ago.
Maybe Zappo's huge customer base or Zappo's staff can help me out. The Zappo's staff has always been wonderful. These shoes are really nice, but have to go back.

Lovely shoe, and very comfortable. The sling back helped to keep my narrow heel from slipping in the medium width. However, I am a true size 8.5 to 9, and the size 9 in this shoe was much too short. I'm not even sure the 9.5 would fit me.

This pair of Dea, the black croco, is the third pair of Dea that I have purchased. The first two pairs, which I purchased a few years ago, were black smooth leather with patent toe and navy smooth leather with patent toe, both of which I still wear. All three pairs were size 8 1/2 medium. Unfortunately, the croco Dea that I wore for the first time on Christmas Day were very uncomfortable because they were narrower than the other two mentioned above.
Because I was not at home all day on Christmas, there was no way to put on other shoes and so yesterday and still today my feet hurt!
If Trotters is going to continue to produce the same style of shoe (and I hope it will), in this case Dea with slingback and 1 1/4" heel, then the customer should expect that in each size the shoe will be made the same.

I bought this after looking at the reviews.They run smaller than usual. I always wear 7.5 but this one is too tight. It feels comfortable with the cushioning inside. The stitch on the shoe is not well finished. Pricey for the quality offered. Sorry have to return it.
