Really wish these had been 8 1/4! My left foot is 1/4 inch longer than the right, and my heel was just beyond the end of the shoe. They were dressy enough, even with the low heel. The strap might rub after walking all day,but the footbed was comfortable.

Too narrow, too short for size ordered

Cute and comfortable--on my right foot. The toes on my left foot go in all different directions, and some of them rub (painfully) against the top of the toe box. Sadly, I must return them.

I have a wide foot and finding pretty dressy shoes is not always easy. This are stylish and fit my foot well. There is no arch support. The leather is soft and the heel hight is perfect that I don't get tired of standing or walking.

great looking shoe, great materials, very comfortable. The back strap however, is very stretchy and so the heel of the shoe flapped a lot when I walked.

I ordered 8 pairs of low healed black dress shoes. I do lots of walking and standing on convention center floors/cement. These were the keepers of the 8 pairs. Wide toe box and wider than most shoes across the big toe/bunion area. Stylish and comfortable. I am 9.5M, might have been able to wear the 9M.

Lovely shoe but did not have my size (12) so I ordered 13 in hopes that I could adjust the sling back tofu. Sorry, but they are just too big! Returning them.

I loved the shoe but the back won't stay on my heal, sadly I am returning.

To be fair, I've only begun breaking in these shoes, but so far I'm pleased. I ordered three different styles of Trotters at the same time, but kept only these due to sizing discrepancies. The open heel and adjustable strap probably help with that. The toe box feels a little narrow, but I'm hopeful it will stretch a little with time. I haven't experienced any blisters, however, so it's not awful. I absolutely love the style. I have size 12 feet, which means a lot of shoes look clunky or just plain ugly. The two-tone nature of these shoes and the attractively shaped toe make these great for work or leisure.

Ordered 1/2 size up and the toe box was way too narrow for me.

This is a beautiful shoes, but my old toes didn't fit the toe box & it was a little loose on my narrow heel.So sad to send them back

I have very wide feet with horrible bunions, these are the only shoe out there that will fit me and be semi comfortable. Would buy in other colors.

This is a quality shoe. Unfortunately, it's not very comfortable on my foot. It's the lack of cushioning that makes me regret every time I think it's not really that the shoe makes my feet hurt, it's just that my feet were extra tired that day. Or, I must have walked to much that day. Or some other rationalisation that causes me to ignore the "painful" truth. But, (here I go again) it's probably my feet, and not the shoe.

Very nice shoe - I wish it fit. I ordered the 8 WW only because you didn't have 8 W, but I could still barely get my toe in it. I'll keep looking because I need something similar to this. I appreciate Zappos' fantastic service -no worries about returning.

Have two other colors and love the shoe. Just tried these on in black patent and they were VERY narrow. When I compared the new shoes to the older ones it is easy to see that the new ones were much narrower. Upset...counted on a new pair of shoes to wear this weekend :( \

I have these in gold and black, non-quilted. I don't wear them often because they are not as dressy as I need for my business attire but let me say that when I do wear them, they are so comfortable it's astonishing. If you want a shoe that is really comfortable, you cannot go wrong with these. And Zappos service is great, as always.

Dressy enough for wedding "mother" long formal...yet classic enough for year around professional and worship occasions.

This is a very comfortable, nice looking shoe. I bought it to wear to work in the summer with a simple dress or slacks and it will be perfect. I normally wear a W width but WW was all they had in my size and it fits fine - you may want to go up in width.

I have a pair of these shoes and was just replacing them, but the new ones that arrived feel one size too small. I am a very reliable size 11 so I am guessing that these were mislabeled.

With several foot problems, I had difficulty finding a shoe that was reasonably dressy that did not hurt my feet any further. This shoe solved the problem for me.
