This is my 13th pair of Trotter's DEA slingbacks! I have them in pretty much every color. After I fractured my heel and ankle 5 years ago, I no longer could wear heels and I needed to find an attractive shoe that would fit my very narrow size 7.5 foot. While my podiatrist is concerned that the slingback doesn't offer the proper support, I find that wearing them for a couple hours to go out to dinner or on occasions that require more than a t-strap sandal, or, in winter, boots that fit orthotics, is just fine. I only wish Trotter's would design a 1-inch heeled, closed T-strap shoe so I can alternate between the styles!

Very comfortable and stylish

I've had three other pairs of the Trotter Dea style. They are comfortable and the back strap really helps people like me with narrow feet. It is truly a great style for me. I wish it came in more colors!

This was my second Dea purchase. First was brown leather, and liked it so much that I ordered the black. Very stylish, right size heel for me, and sale price a bog plus.

Very attractive shoe with perfect fit. Loved them so much, I ordered the same pair in a different color! Nice, too, that they were on sale.

These shoes are very comfortable and will work well for my frequent overseas travel.

I have purchased these shoes in the past and had loved them. I ordered them again and was not disappointed. My feet have widened over the years and the Wide sizes accommodate them beautifully. I will be buying another pair. I had received numerous compliments on them as well, especially the contrasting spectators.

The shoe is very comfortable & suitable for my daily needs. I originally bought an 81/2 , & found I needed the 9. Heel height perfect looked good with pants & dressy outfits. Very hard to find shoes that are stylish , low heel & comfortable in real leather.

Got this for my mom and it fits great! Very true to size. Good to wear for church.

These shoes fit perfectly for me and are very comfortable. I find that enclosed pumps don't work as well as shoes with the sling back style as my feet rebel against being enclosed for any length of time. This style is great and the color selection goes well dressy or casual.

Perfect shoes for the wedding I'm going to next week. Top quality every shoe I purchase.

I ordered the shoes in a 9.5 N in the black alligator. I like the style, very dressy. The fit is great, narrow enough for my feet! The heel is a little low but very comfortable.

Yay, Zappos for carrying Trotters Dea in all these colors in Slim widths! I have been wearing Trotters Dea for 15 years. I have long, narrow feet, and because of spinal surgeries, I cannot wear high heels any more. These shoes are classy, fashion forward, come in Slims and in 12 colors! I can feel well-heeled at a wedding or other more formal occasions. Note: Dea runs a 1/2 size short for me. I usually wear a 10AA or 10.5 AAA in other brands but wear an 11AAA (Slim) in the Dea. I have them in multiple colors.

Shoe was true to size. It is difficult to find a stylish shoe in a 12W but these are beautiful and fit well! I have purchased several shoes by Trotter and have been pleased with all of them.

These shoes are very comfortable and looked very cute with pants. Didn't rub anywhere and had room in toe box which can be a problem for me. Very satisfied.

Fit is perfect. I have a bunion so had to get the wide. I have a narrow heel and it fit fine. The leather is very soft. I wore them three days in a row and no blisters. They are comfortable right out of the box.

The photo and video don’t show how pretty this shoe actually is. Unfortunately, my big toe was scraping the top of the toe box. I know from experience that wouldn’t work out long term, so I had to return them.

Love these shoes! Great style, fit and super comfy. I have a wide foot and have had surgery on my large toe. It’s very difficult to find shoes that fit and fit nicely. These are perfect. Liked them so much, bought them in three colors.

This is my 11th pair of Trotters' DEA slingbacks; I have them in pretty much every iteration. I wear a 7.5 N and the fact that I can adjust the strap makes them a perfect fit for my narrow heel. I admit the strap eventually becomes loose from repeated wear, but I just take the shoes to a repair shop and have a couple new holes put in and they're fine. I find them a stylish choice for someone like me who now needs to wear a much lower heel.

I had worn Trotters before and knew exactly what size fit . Size was still the same as before. Love the shoes. Hope to continue seeing different styles available.

I needed a pair of shoes for a black tie event, and was quite concerned as I haven't had to wear dress shoes for probably 15 years. My bunions are fairly severe, and I have a narrow heel and I dreaded this shopping task. I read a review online about these shoes on another site, came to Zappos and ordered them. I'm thrilled! These are wearable for me right out of the box and have the necessary elegance for my gala outfit. I was concerned that maybe the slingback wouldn't be sturdy and my foot would slide around in the shoe but so far so good. I have yet to see how they stand up with wear, but I'm hopeful. These look similar to a high fashion French designer shoe I liked on a fashion blog so I gave them a try and love them. I wear an 11 narrow but narrow shoes are hard to find in my size. It is so nice to have a shoe that actually fits and is comfortable to boot! I will dress them down with a rolled boyfriend jean and dress them up with a skirt as well. If they are still comfortable after several hours I might get them in other colors too!
