Purchased these for my husband. It wasn't a good match or fit. Way too wide.

Have had a difficult time getting these to fit my foot which is wide. The shoe says “D” width but seems too narrow for that. Transitioning from Berk’s is also difficult with the different angle of foot bed. I hope with time I’ll come to appreciate them because I wore them too much to return and don’t want to waste that much $.

Too stiff

I have used this same type of shoes for a long time,bought at shops with help and advise from experienced shoe sellers, because I suffer from recurring stasis ulcers in my left heel, due to long-ago DVT episodes, and this type of shoe does not touch my heel. Unfortunately, the shoes just bought and delivered seem to be one size to small. I bought them size 42 because my European size has been always 41.5 . Probably they should have been size 43 in your way of measuring. The real problem, these being open sandals, is not the size of the sole, but that of the front strap, that is too short to have a place where to make an extra hole in it and, without that, is too tight.
