Vans are the only brand that holds together for more than a month for my active preschooler. This slip on is great. We're going on month two and it still looks new. He loves to run, jump and play in them and they never fall off his feet.

These are great shoes for young ones who have not mastered tying a shoelace yet. My son loves the flame and the attention that comes with them. Zappos was on time with delivery and made it really easy and free to return the other pair of shoes my son didn't like.

So cute. They can be worn kind of dressy. My grandson loves shoes. I had to send these back because I ordered too large, but I had to buy the new one first. Order true to size. I did not listen to my daughter and order up.

I buy slip on Vans for my 2 & 6 year olds. They're easy for the kids to put on & comfortable. The only negative is they wear out very quickly - luckily they're cheap.

These vans are the cutest. Impossible not to love them. They wear so well. The back of the shoe, at the heel, is firm enough so that it doesn't collapse when kids are trying to put shoes on themselves. The aqua blue/white checkerboard really pops and looks so awesome on little dudes. I only ask that Vans bring back the green/white check. I think these fit true to size.

My son (almost 4) picked these out and we both love them. We switched from the velcro straps to these slip-on shoes and are very pleased. The stitching on the velcro straps were the 1st thing to wear out, so the slip-on shoes are a much better option. Fabulous shoe! Soles hold up amazingly. Cool designs. I love Vans.

I bought these shoes as an early fourth birthday present for my little boy, and he absolutely loves them! He insists on wearing them everyday and even wanted to sleep with them on the first day they he got them. As far as comfort or arch support, he seems happy and comfortable wearing them. I would like to get him a pair in Jeff Spicoli checkerboard, but he insists that he wants to wear only the monster shoes!

Cute shoes, easy for my 4 year old to put on. He got them muddy the first day, and it washed off nicely. Bought a size 10 and it almost has the same amount of room as his size 11 Saucony sneakers. Would be nice if it came in velcro form for skinny feet.

My 3 year old loves these shoes. Just wish Vans came in 1/2 sizes. He wears a 9.5 and the 10 is quite big, but he still loves them.

My 5 year old son absolutely loves Vans slip ons. I have been buying these for him since he was 2. This is his go to shoe; he loves it because he can put them on himself and doesn't need the teacher's help at school. They really don't like messing with laces for kids who don't know how to tie their own shoes yet, so these are perfect for us. They have such style and personality and great patterns and colors to go with any of my son's outfits. We usually have at least 2 at a time because he wears them so much. They are pretty true to size and width. I would say they usually take about 2 wears before they are good and broken in for him. I will keep buying them as long as he likes. A+ in my book.

These shoes were a great choice for my 22 month old. Easy to put on, but they stay on! He gets so many compliments wherever he goes. We ordered two pairs to have a spare for the mornings when you can't find those little shoes. My older children love that the "baby" has shoes just like theirs.

My little one's joy -
These are my little girl's 3rd pair due to her still growing so fast (3 1/2 years old). I let her pick out the colors herself. Vans have the funky colors that she loves. She loves the feel and ease of putting them on, but she already knows how to tie her shoes by herself. I am happy that she has a chance to live the style that I had when I was young.
