Comfortable, durable, stylish. Only drawback may be that they don't have great ventilation if you are going to be wearing them for a extremely long period of time.

I have been wearing Gazelles since I was in high school back in the '60s. Always good quality and comfortable fit. There must be different factories and different patterns and possibly different materials used to make them. This particular pair fits well but the tongue and the body of the shoe rub together and squeak when walking. The three previous pairs did not but the fourth one, bought about 6 years ago does the same thing, the shoes recently purchased are my fifth pair in the last 8 years. I expect to wear these squeaks and all for at least 3 years, I believe a good investment and I imagine I will probably buy another pair within the next year.

I didn't buy this sneaker but I thought I would tell you that I love Zappos and if you ever get sneaks in (running) that have a strap on the top low forum I'd would love to see them. I have bought a lot with straps many years ago from Zappos but now their very hard to find. I love Adidas or Nike. I had a stroke so that's why I love the kind with the strap.

Best Sneaker EVER! No, really... I honestly believe these to be the best overall sneaker ever made. I've probably owned at least 20 pairs of them in my life. And hope to own at least 20 more before I die. They're really comfortable, durable and good looking. Plus, they never go out of style -- they go with anything. And the best part is, they're affordable. The only sneaker that even comes close are Converse All-Stars, but they fall apart really fast and aren't anywhere near as comfortable.

I bought these for my boyfriend, he said they were a little narrow but they stretched out easily. Other then that no complaints and he wears them all the time.

Not for my foot. Several people indicated that these fit narrow. I agree. Plus the toe is short. I will admit that they are cushioned.

Uncomfortable to walk in, difficult to put on, and easy to get dirty. Weren't right for just some everyday wearing-around shoes.

They arrived on time and the color was true to the picture. I originally had ordered the wrong size and in two days the correct size was at my door step! Thank you Zappos!

Super comfy old school shoe. Runs a little big. Would recommend buying them 1/2 size smaller than your regular size.

Probably just what you expected. The classic Gazelle, same as it's always been. Kind of stylish, kind of comfortable, but most important an old school classic!

Retro is back! Color combo looks amazing. Others have complained about the squeaky tongue, I agree. It goes away by tying the laces tight and cutting blood flow or you can just focus on the looks of the shoe especially with jeans. Zappos please get white leather in stock!

I love the shoes that I purchased! They came packaged very well and they were the exact product that I ordered. The shoes fit perfectly and are exactly what I wanted.

This is my first pair of Adidas so I took a chance buying them online hoping they would fit. I usually go for the Asics Tigers but the Gazelles had this color scheme which was too good to pass up. The shoes ended up fitting perfectly. The tongue of the shoe sticks up a little too high making it look and feel kinda weird. It's made of thin vinyl type material, and if I don't adjust it, it can be a little uncomfortable. I just push it over to the side so my shins don't get sliced up and I wear pretty loose jeans so you can't see the top of the shoes anyway. Otherwise these are some pretty nice kicks. The giant tongue is the only reason I'm giving them a 4 instead of 5.

These shoes are sturdy. I purchased a pair and despite daily wear, it took me over two years to wear them out. Once I did, I purchased another pair. I guess that's a pretty good endorsement. I like the minimal style and the fit was good, even with my slightly wider feet.

I order the Gazelle's once every couple of years for all of our boys and they are loved! They get so excited and love that they come in so many cool colors. Oldest is 34 and youngest is 15. They love them and it's easy shopping for me!

A nice shoe in a bold red color. Not quite as comfortable as my Sambas, but I've walked in these plenty and they are fine. The tongue does squeak a little, but I don't mind as much as some other reviewers.

I have continuously owned a pair of these for 20 years in almost every color imaginable. These are by far the most comfortable shoe ever and they only get more comfortable as they age (as long as you get the suede, not the 2.0's which I think are nubuck). You only need to refresh the laces after awhile.

I love my new shoes! I get lots of compliments about them [I call them my Smurf shoes]. No offense to other reviewers, but to me this so called squeaky tongue was a total non-issue. I haven't been bothered by any sound at all. I *love* the colors. The fit is fine for me (I happen to have narrow feet, but I don't think that's a factor). The reason I ordered these was because I loved my original Adidas Sambas but I was having problems finding them again in stores. I bought some black/white Sambas, but I did not like them as much (mostly because it's mostly a leather upper, versus all suede upper). But I love the Gazelles. The only ever so slightly negative thing I can think of is that they are a bit more slippery on water than are my Sambas. But they seem quite water tight on the bottom. People should also realize that the blue color will start to fade pretty early on (I think of it as like jeans fading), and it's more obvious because that is such a bold/saturated color. But I will definitely order these again, and the whole buying experience was great. (Oh, and I have no idea what smell the others are talking about - I have a very keen sense of smell and these were no different from any other new shoes for me. Another non-issue for me.) One last thing: they can be worn out of the box, as opposed to my Sambas which require me to wear padding [I'm guessing arch support]. So wonderful product all around!

These are my new favorite do anything shoes. They provide all-day comfortable and look great with jeans. As others have mentioned, the tongue does tend to squeak a little when I walk, but not enough to be a real issue. I have gotten several comments on them and would definitely buy them again.

Great sneakers! One of my son's love this style. Rather than run to the mall to find them, I use Zappos. Great company! Orders delivered immediately and never a mistake! I will continue to use them!

I bought theses as a Christmas present for my botfriend, he has been drooling all over them for quite soe time now. I was a bit nervous buying shoes online but they arrived very quickly and they fit him like a glove!

Nice comfortable shoe. Much better than a Converse or Keds. I waterproofed the shoe with Nikwax and it is fine. One thing: it does not have a good grip on wet pavements, so tread carefully in the rain.
