I wanted some black shoes to go well with jeans, T-shirt, etc. I always wear an 11.5 with shoes. These shoes, in 11.5, were too short and very narrow. I'm returning them and getting some "Adidas Originals Samoa". I think I prefer their more structured design. They look wider in the images. Hopefully, they'll fit in a 12, because 13 has got to be too big. Otherwise, yeah, Campus 2 seems well made.

Great looking shoe, and the fit was good except for one thing...very weird arch support. It was way too high and dug into my arch, and I have pretty normal arches. Sad, as I loved the look, but I will be returning them.

I was looking for a very classic, very prototypical sneaker. I thought I found it with the Campus, but there were two problems. One, the blue shown in these images is way darker than the actual color. The actual color is a lighter, faded, medium blue color. Second, I really didn't like how the lace panel cinched the shoe near the toe, giving a weird pointed look to the shoe. Maybe it's because my feet are kind of wide and they just threw the whole look of the shoe into disarray, but I did not like how these things looked on my feet. The best way I can put it is that they looked cheap. I exchanged them for the Samoa and am much happier. However, for fellow wide-footed people, Adidas all seem to run a bit narrow, so they'll take some breaking in.

Great looking shoe, absolutely uncomfortable. There's a lump that sticks up in the middle of the shoe, maybe in attempt to give arch support. Either way, it borders on painful to walk on for any length of time. I have cheap dress shoes that are more comfortable. There should be an option, "Horrible arch support."
