The Rolls Royce of flip flops . . . My only complaint is I had to return the first pair for another pair a full size larger than my normal. These will look great with my Tommy Bahama silk slacks.

Great shoes - I just tried these on and I agree with everyone else, they do run a bit small. Thanks for the advice people; I got the right size the first time. I love these shoes, they look great and they are really comfortable. As always, praise to Zappos for speedy, excellent service.

High end flip-flops - I shopped around quite a bit looking for a flip-flop that was nicer looking and more supportive than your typical drug store flip-flop. Not much to see in Minneapolis stores in March. That's when I remembered Zappos. I came across the brand from OluKai. I looked at the pictures and read the reviews and decided that this was the pair for me. It was exactly what I had been looking for. These baby's are the "BMW" of flip-flop sandals. No other manufacturer makes a more supportive, well constructed, good looking flip flop than these guys. Obviously they are more expensive that your typical flip-flop, but if you are like me and value comfort, quality of materials and construction over cost, than this is your brand. If not, than this review is not going to change your mind anyway. I suggest you order the next size up as they tend to run a bit small. Also, give yourself at least a few days break-in period, especially if you're not used to having a piece of leather between your toe. Once you get past that point, they are very supportive and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Excellent! You can't go wrong with any OluKai product. If your looking for comfort, excellent arch support (which is very difficult to find in "flip-flops") and very high quality of materials/construction. This is the brand for you. I really like the overall design of the "Hiapo". You'll never regret your purchase of the wonderful brand. As mentioned before in other reviews. Make sure you order 1 size larger than normal. I wear size 10.5 and ordered size 12 and they were the perfect fit. Enjoy!

Perfect Product - Super high quality. If you can afford it, this is the thong for you. Great leather and workmanship. Super comfortable. As has already been mentioned, purchase 1/2 size larger than usual. Not the same feel as Birks, but a lot more stylish.

Good looking shoe! I bought this shoe for my boyfriend and I think they run a little smaller, so we had to go up a size, but the customer service was very prompt and extremely helpful!

These are by far the best sandals. Flip flops I ever had.

OluKai sandal - Great sandal! Comfort, looks, arch support great. My foot is a little wide but these fit great. I'm going to order another pair in another color. An exceptional product.

Unique - Well made and very comfortable. A unique sandal you don't see everyone else wearing. I normally wear a 10-10.5, but like my sandals in size 11. These fit right on, maybe about 1/2 size smaller than normal size 11 sandals.

Worth every penny - These are not your everyday flip-flops. This is actually the second pair I have now bought, as I am completely in love with these! I have always had pain in my arches due to wearing flip-flops in the summer times; however this has been the first summer where I do not have arch issues that I attribute to the excellent arch support of OluKai... Plus, they look great too! You won’t be sorry.

Worth every penny - Best flip-flops I've ever owned. Better foot support than several of my dress shoes. Does take about a week or two to break in. No problems handling beach/salt water in Hawaii.

Break-in period needed...ended up with a couple blisters the first week, but have been great since.

Hiapo Rules! The OluKai Hiapo is amazing. It felt so comfortable the first day I wore it. The arch support is incredible. I did a moderate amount of walking the first day wearing the shoe and I got one small blister from the strap. The leather is very soft.

This sandal, like the other pairs of OluKai sandals has a great arch support built in, and looks very stylish. I wore them to a wedding with a suit! It was a huge hit, because of how dressy the Hiapo looks. There isn't a more comfortable pair of Flips that I know of.

Great shoes = order a 1/2 size larger

The look and fit overall is good. The stitching on the post between the toes will take some getting use to, hopefully, with no issues.

Very nicely-made sandals with attention to detail. They have a leather toe post, which I prefer over plastic or nylon webbing. They fit looser than other OluKai in the same size, which was an issue with my narrow foot. More importantly, they felt quite hard; IMO they could use a bit more cushioning. If you're only going to wear them as dress sandals and won't be walking far or on various surfaces, this might be ok. But I needed mine to go from the beach to walking on various surfaces for miles to dinner, so I returned them in favor of the Uggs Tenoch (which also have leather toe posts).

The piece between the toes does need breaking in. It is stiff leather. I love the style. I am size 9½ but size 10 fits great. The laser etching on the footbed is no where near as dark and distinct as the pictures indicate. I wish it were. But that is a preference thing.

Bought these for my hubby's for his birthday and they are too small! He absolutely loves them but has to wait to get a bigger size.

I must start by saying I prefer slides to the thong-type, which these are, but I'm really picky about what type of slides, and the ones I really liked aren't being made by Helly Hansen any more (i.e. sad). So with all the good reviews, I decided to try these. They really are very comfortable out of the box. Even not being used to the thong between the toes, the wrap they put on it makes it pretty comfy. Unlike some reviewers, I found them true to size. I would not have bought a size larger at all. Also, having worn them around campus quite a lot, the rubber on the bottom hasn't had any problems. The leather is a bit scuffed right around the bottom corners, but it isn't really noticeable, unless of course you're looking at the bottom of the shoes. I'd definitely recommend these. The leather is soft, comfortable, and stable. The shoes mold to your feet and don't slide back and forth like some. Honestly, the only reason I'm giving them a 4 instead of 5, is that they are still a thong-type, and the price is, well, pretty high.

Why do you keep sending shoes that have been returned, without tags, and in Amazon boxes? Full price should not be something used, worn, returned, or not in original packaging.

I have to agree with Gabe. These are pretty comfortable and stylish. They feel good to wear right away. But the rubber sole wore out too quickly so I was walking on the leather which is peeling off. Also the piece between the toe is coming apart just after having them for less then a year. If you don't wear these often then I would suggest but they are not the durable quality you'd expect to get when you drop this much on these.

I so badly wanted to give these five stars, but they\'re just not five-star sandals. In fact, their sub-par durability means I\'d be kind to give them four stars. The good: Comfy right out of the box, molded nicely to my feet, leather feels wonderful and the upper seems like it\'ll last a long time. The bad: I\'ve worn them a total of seven times and the rubber pod on the heel is wearing away so quickly that I\'ll soon be walking on the leather. Apparently I drag my feet some, which is to be expected in flip-flops. However, my Chaco flip-flops have lasted me eight summers so far and have no sign of wear. The Olukai\'s are just wearing out too quickly -- as if the rubber they use is too soft. I\'ll be lucky to get one summer out of these and at this price, that\'s unacceptable.

Caution!!! Boy do they run small. I read the reviews before ordering. I measure at a 10.5 so I ordered the 11. I tried these on and they weren't snug, they were TIGHT, uncomfortable and my heel hung over the end. I'm going to try a set of 12s and hope they fit better. When I receive the new pair, I'll write another review. I'm hoping to give these 5 stars in each category.
