Good hiking shoe - I tried a similar pair of these on locally so I already knew my size. The tread is great and I tested them out on a recent mountain hike. Lots of toe protection and I was surprised at how light the shoes were. Not that they are super light but they look heavy in most of their pictures. So far no problems at all. The only issue I had was that it took over a week to receive the shoes even though they were in stock.

Nice and wide - I really liked the look and feel of these shoes. They appeared to be well made, and were light and comfortable. Unfortunately they were too wide for my narrow feet. My feet are around a B width and I just could not crank down on the laces enough to get the shoes snug. I needed these shoes for travel and did not want to get stuck with something that was not going to provide good support. I did not want to send them back, but decided to go with the Dunham Clouds instead. I am not disappointed with them, but the speed lacing at the top can be a pain. Thanks Zappos.

Great shoe - I love Keens mostly for their comfort. I buy them plenty big and they provide support while giving me the wiggle room I need to be comfortable. These shoes are very supportive and I hit the road with them immediately--winter walking in snow, ice and wet. They do a great job. They seem like they will take a little breaking in but I can tell they will be worth it.

A decent shoe. Kind of a stiff shoe. Will take some breaking in time. I would say this shoe is more for hiking than just casual walking. It's a little tight around the toe area which is very rigid almost like that of a steel toed shoe, although this is not one. Probably could have gone a 1/2 size larger. But it isn't so tight that I feel I need to return them. I predict that they will feel just fine after about 2 or 3 months of breaking them in. The shoes look decent in person, pretty much like the pics, maybe a tad worse. The blue color is a little dull and drab, making the shoes look fairly inconspicuous. The sole of the shoe is fairly thick and a bit clunky - will take some getting use to. The sole feels indestructible and that it would last a very long time. Overall, it seems like a very durable shoe and it's pretty lightweight too. Pretty decent shoe - not the greatest - but I'm fairly happy with it.

Wow! This is a nice step-up for Keen. I was not interested in the sandal-like shoes that are so popular and this model fits the bill for what I was looking for. This is my 2nd pair of Keen Shoes and will not be my last.

Great Shoe- This shoe is great! Very light-weight. Good for outdoor walking/hiking. I've had this shoe for a short time now, but it does also seem pretty waterproof. From the looks I thought this shoe would be a little clunky, but that's not the case. It moves well with you at any speed. The tread is also designed well. No small grooves to collect mud!

One of the most comfortable shoes - It's a great shoe but their is one problem witch is its little bit narrow from the front it even hurt my toe and am not the only one who felt that their where another guy before me and he mentioned some about it but I didn't care and I bought it 'cuz it look real nice and last longer than what you think.

I knew these were too small the instant my foot went on. Toes tight to the toe box, heel tight. Shoes might be sized a size small. My feet measure exactly size 15, but I would need at least 16.

The look was good and typical I like KEEN as a hiking shoe. I found these shoes very sloppy in the heal and was unable to get a “snug” fit I would prefer to hike in. I did return these no long term use, just around the house was unable to make them comfortable with different lacing techniques.

The waterproofing is the worst of both worlds. It is not waterproof in standing water, but it is impermeable enough to make your feet hot and sweaty in dry weather. I’m waiting for a vented version in EE width.

One year from the purchase date the Keen Tarahee II is no longer waterproof. I wore these for a year for honey-do projects and recently I had to trek through damp grass and they took in enough water to make a squishing noise with every step and my socks were damp after just a few hours of work. Also the soles have been hard since they were new and my feet felt tired because of it quickly even with my own high-quality insoles in them.

I ordered a size bigger than usual since Keens usually run small, but it still wasn't big enough with a 16. They also felt very narrow to me for a D. Ill try another style.

I love the shoe but tried a smaller size because the heel slipped. Result: Same heel slip problem. Too bad. I wish they fit right because I would have kept them for sure.

Look great, but sadly uncomfortable - I really, really wanted to agree with the other reviewers, as these shoes look great in the pic, and even better in person. I realize I do need much more arch support than most people, and that the heel being higher than most shoes needs time to get used to. But I was relieved to take these shoes off as my feet began to feel pained when I walked around the house in them. They don't have the degree of arch support I needed, and just don't have all that much cushioning. I can see however how they might satisfy others with the right shaped feet and not a great need for a high degree of arch support.

OH NO! What happened? Ok, I own 2 pr of the Newport H2s, and one of the Providence clogs. Perfect, all way around. I couldn't wait to try out my Targhees... OUCH! I couldn't squeeze my foot into them if I had 3 shoehorns to help! SO SO narrow!! Have to return. I think the foot last they used to plan these got to close to the furnace & SHRANK!

I used to love this shoe. Lately the quality if keen has gone down. Shoelaces ripping, shoe falling apart. Do not know what happened, contacted the company and they did get me new laces. Honestly this is a conformable shoe that you can walk in all day, it's too bad the quality of Keen has been slipping the last year or so. First pair I bought lasted 4 years, next one 1 year, latest one last 6 month and now in garbage. My opinion would be to not buy again from Keen until somehow they report or prove have gone back to their original quality. Such a shame this was a great shoe, not sure why they would drop the quality.

I have another pair of Keens, Finlay - size US 10.5, that fit perfectly. Ordered the Targhee II in US 10.5 and they feel a full size too small. I have not ordered a larger size but Zappos return policy made refund very easy.

This is my fourth pair of Keens that I tried on. I own three different styles now. They are all different sizes. I wish Keen would pay attention to sizing. This will be my last pair of Keens. I purchased this pair feeling certain that I would love them since I got the Targhee Tall Boots a couple of years ago and they fit well. I purchased the same size based on that previous pair, however these feel narrower and are really bothering my feet even after I have tried breaking them in. At this point I am forced to go out and buy some other hiking shoes for an upcoming trip.

Much narrower- If you buy Keens because they're wide, should probably think twice before ordering these. I wear an 11 in the traditional Keen Foot Print but these were much too narrow. They fit length-wise just fine.

Shoes Ok in appearance but not that comfortable for longer hikes and tended to make my feet turn inward, soles looked good but after about 2-3 months bottom pieces of rubber separated, had to re-glue several times,

Unboxing these boots, before even trying them on, it’s clear the stitching around the tongue is already fraying. Also tread appears irregular and is coming apart. Note tongue style is different than Zappos picture (actual shoe has no loop on tongue).

Initially I thought these shoes would be fine, but after wearing them around the house, I found that the shoes actually invite your feet to pronate. The outer part of the insole is raised so that it tilts your feet inward. The arch "support" is lower than the raised outer side of the insole. I cannot keep these and will send them back.

Could not be much more disappointed. This is my 3 pair of Targhee and I absolutely loved first two, but the upgraded Targee II is a great disappointment. It runs almost a full size smaller and narrower than the previous and with the new waterproof liner is just unbearably hot. Does not breath at all. Now on my 3rd return. Keen appears to be really going down hill.

The soles actually fell off both shoes! This is my third pair of Keen shoes--love the look and the fit. But as far as this "style" is concerned, beware. They do not wear well. First the toes started to part from the shoe, then, after three weeks of modest wear (approx 3 days a week), the soles completely departed from the rest of the shoe. Choose a different style.
