I love the shoes, buy them all the time

Keen shoes keep getting narrower and narrower.

These were purchased to replace an older, non-waterproof version of this shoe that I have loved since the day I put them on. On the new version I have 2 issues. These are a skooch smaller than the originals creating a small but noticeable issue on all day wears when I'm on my feet. A 12.5 would have been perfect, but it's not offered. The 2nd issue is the tongue. The upper portion is overstuffed, bulbous and has a leather V; all of which make it difficult, no impossible, to cinch and tie the shoe securely without using a Kindergartener's double knot - annoying! Really speaks to trying something on before buying it. Not an option I had.

Shoes are very comfortable an d well built.

Never knew a shoe could feel so good out the box. Use it for my everyday task and more. Going on the The West Coast Trail soon and have 100% confidence in it. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work

I have owned Targee II and Targee III, water proof shoes for a number of years and walked thousands of miles. The Targee II have a very firm sole, which I like and will hopefully give some extra life to the shoe! The Targee III, has a much softer sole that has worn down very quickly Less than nine months.

Good shoe so far. 3rd pair and hope the soles don't peal off like the other two. Bought a pair of boots in addition to these.

Ive been wearing Keen Targhees everyday for about 8yrs now. Cant fault them as theyre so comfortable and tough. Dog walking, hill walking, town walking, through puddles through snow, nothing stops them and the waterproof coating lasts throughout the life of them, about 2yrs for me. Really are the best shoe out there.

Sadly the sizing recommendation from the website didn't work for me and the shoes were much too large. I might have tried a smaller size, but delivery here by UPS seems unreliable and such a protracted palaver that I really couldn't be bothered. Sad as I like Keen footwear.

So far I am very pleased with my purchase-they fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable(even with my wide feet!).They seem hard wearing, waterproof and ideal for long demanding hikes.I will definitely get another pair sometime.

I want to say I love this brand and have four pairs previously. Each and every pair were treasured but this was the first hiker I've tried. They look phenomenal and they seem very well constructed. Sadly the toebox never fit for me as I found them a too narrow. Yeah I'm disappointed, like I said, Keen is a great shoe.

To bad they discontinued this shoe. I hate when a company tries to improve protection when I think it cant be improved upon. I should probably buy another pair because Ill never be able to get this shoe again. The first pair I had lasted me for years. Keen I am upset with your R&D I read the reviews on the one with the bellows and they are not holding up. Keep this shoe!!!

Ive always had great performance from Keen, by the soles delaminated within just 5 months. Replacement pair had arrived & hoping these will be more in line with Keens usual standards.

They fit great, the look good, and are very comfortable. I also like that they are waterproof. They seem to be well made and should last through many miles of hiking. I also use them as my everyday shoe of choice.

Very comfortable boots and good grip on the ground, after a week of intense use in arid terrain. I haven't checked the waterproofness yet. Important! In the size guide, 26.7 cm corresponds to size 8.5 when in reality it corresponds to 7.5. The return and exchange of the boot was very easy and fast.

Exactly what was needed. My husband has difficulty finding shoes that fit properly and Keen shoes never let him down. The style hs had previously (4 pairs over the years) don't appear to be available now but these fit parfectly.

They last just a weeks past the warranty period. I have owned 3 pairs. Great comfort at first but they don't last and the company's policy on making good on faulty products is terrible. Look elsewhere if you want longevity.

These shoes fit nicely and have great traction. I've been walking in some light but wet snow and they have performed well while keeping my feet dry.

I have worn Merrells for about 20 years and wanted to try a pair of these. They look nice but they cause my feet to sweat really bad and they fit way smaller than the Merrells do. I would recommend everyone to buy at least a half a size bigger than you ordinarily wear.

Just purchased my third successive pair of Targee walking shoes. They are the most suitable fit for me and I use them most days during Autumn, Winter and Spring. My only criticism is that the soles could be more hard-wearing. I find that in comparison with other makes, Keen products do wear a little quicker. But it is a minor failing compared to their other assets.

Even when ordering a wide width shoe I find KEENs are still a lil' snug. My foot isn't that freakishly wide, other wide shoes fit, but everything else about the KEEN is so great that I have my cobbler spray the new shoes with so secret spray that he has to loosen them up.

Shoes fit well . Once I got used to the idea of a walking shoe I gave found them very comfortable. Very important was that they are waterproof . They appear to be . Very impressed with the build quality . I like the idea of being able to look after the leather . Work well with thin or thick socks . I am looking forward to having them for a long time !

Now, in my 60's with a knee replacement, this shoe provides me all the support and comfort I need with it's wider toe box and narrow heel. I walk or hike anywhere from 5 to 10 miles three to five times a week. This shoe is as equally comfortable and confident on trail or the sidewalk.
