Bought these based on the reviews. They advised ordering 1/2 size larger. I really didn't need to. They are great shoes. Very comfortable, and dry. I will order them again.

Another great Keen shoe. Not sure I would order the same color again. I almost exchanged them for a different color that was a half size larger. But ended up keeping them. My normal shoe size is 12. With Keen boots and sandals it has been 13. I would say with these I really needed a 13 1/2.

The thing I like about Keen shoes is it there's plenty of room for your toes. They are wider than most other shoes, but order a larger size as they do run smaller. I normally need 11 or 11 1/2 and I need a 13 in these. Very comfortable and well built.

First comment: here's another recommendation to order 1/2 size larger than you normally wear. I did, and they fit very well. These replace another brand of low hikers, that felt soft and comfortable like a cushiony running shoe. The Keens have GREAT arch support and a much stiffer sole, like a real hiker for pounding over rocky trails. Very comfortable. I'm not a fan of "I've had these 2 minutes, and they are FANTASTIC" reivews. I've only worn these a few days, and not in bad weather. So far on wet pavement or decking they aren't slippery. They are warm in summer weather (waterproof liner) but here in northern PA we have many months of sloppy slush to slog through so I'm not troubled. Definitely recommend these.

This is my second pair of Keen shoes, my first one I bought it by the recommendation of my podiatrist, they fit out of the box. When I got these ones, I am blown of my mind their quality is consistent!

Just bought a pair of these for walking and light hiking and I am really pleased. A little stiff at first, but getting more comfy as I break them in. I also own a pair of Newport sandles. They are the most comfortable sandle I've ever owned. Keens rocks!

Great shoe! I generally where a 10.5 but my previous Keens were 11.5. I read the reviews and decided 11.5 would work. 11.5 fits but there is no room for error, I probably could have gone with a 12. However, as long as I keep my shoes tied properly with my heel firmly connected to the rear of the shoe, there is no problem. It is very comfortable.

I already own a pair of mid high boots by Keen called the Detroit, soft toe but I wanted an ankle high trail shoe so I went back to Keen and got the Targhee II and I'm glad I did of course it fit great right from the box and I liked the color right off. The fact it is also waterproof is an important feature of this shoe. I live in NYC and it's been tough here this winter. The Keen line of boots and shoes can take it. I would recommend these shoes to my friends or anyone who wants a good waterproof shoe.

I love these shoes. This is my fourth pair. I keep coming back, totally waterproof, perfect for snow or rain.

This is my second pair of Keen shoes - I came back because they're comfortable, durable, weatherproof, go-anywhere shoes. The Targhee's are a mid-height that's actually completely waterproof, which is hard to find. They're also very warm for cold winter walks with the dogs or hikes through the woods. Large-footed buyers take note: these run about a size large. I wear a 17 in every other shoe, but a 16 in Keens. Also, the toe doesn't taper, so give yourself a day or two to adjust to driving if you're a three-petal purist like me.

These are the most comfortable shoes I think I have ever owned. It's kind of odd, to me they don't feel like I'm wearing hiking boots or shoes. I work at largest package handling company on the planet and out on the floor it mandatory to wear boots or non slip shoes. I wanted a shoe that could hold up to the combination concrete and steel floors. And these are amazing, one month into owning them. And they are holding up well to the floors at work. Outdoors they are just as comfortable I wear them almost everywhere I go! Great pair of shoes!

Zappos has always offered excellent products and exemplary customer service. These shoes which I bought for my son are great quality, and fit him well. His feet are hard to fit like mine, yet we can always find good shoes through Zappos. Thank you.

Targhee ll are the the best Keen shoes that I haves owned. This is the third pair that I bought. I wear the shoes for over 10 hours a day for work and they provide great comfort and support. I work both inside and outdoors and the Keen dry is great for the rainy days. My last pair lasted an entire year and I wear the shoes every day. I buy the shoes half a size bigger so in the winter time I can wear wool socks. At first they may feel uncomfortable but once they mold to your feet they are great. I like Keen shoes because they are made really well and they look good. I can wear these shoes with jeans or dress slacks.

The first order showed up quickly but after a few weeks the soles glue was coming undone. Zappos kindly sent me another pair while I still had the broken pair so I would have shoes the entire time, very nice of them. They have the best customer service in the shoe industry. Love these Keens here in Bozeman Montana where they fit into every day street ware for comfort and good looks and roomy toe box. Be sure to upsize as they do run large by about one size.

Great shoe. In reading other reviews, I decided to try a size larger than my normal size and that worked! The pair that was my normal size was too tight.

This is the second pair that I' have purchased for my husband. He had the first pair for three years. He is a professor and chemist so he is on his feet a lot. They are durable and keep dry in the winter.

Great shoe. I wear 16d and/or 17s and good fit shoes are very difficult to find. Keen is a great company. Been wearing this shoe almost daily for two weeks hiking, working, walking. I wish there were half sizes. It is slightly snug but a 17 would be too big. Can't go wrong here.

I usually wear a size 11 for women. But when I tried that size on, it was just a bit too short. I then ordered the size 10 for men in the same shoe, and that was perfect for me. Very comfortable from the first day. Looks nice, not too clunky. I needed something sturdy and waterproof. This was it!

Great purchase. Comfortable right out of the box. Once you break them in (only within a day or two) they will be one of the best pairs of shoes you'll wear!

I knew when I tried them on that they might be a little small but I always have worn this size so I gave them a try. I wish I would have went for half a size larger.

Bought my wife a pair and she raves about the support and comfort. As a healthcare professional I spend twelve hour shifts on my feet, going from one patient to another. These shoes are super comfortable and the large toebox accommodates the natural swelling of your feet when up for extended periods. Great support also. I do love them.

After reading a number of early reviews which stated that this shoe ran 1/2 to 1 size small I was a little worried when I ordered my normal size 14 shoe. When they showed up and I tried them on, I was surprised to find that the size 14's were at least a 1/2 size too big! I returned them and got a 13, which fits just fine. I wonder if Keen changed the styling a bit and in doing so made the sizes a bit larger than previous editions of the shoe. In any case it is a great show and one that I can go all day in.
