The most comfortable shoe I've worn in a long time...1st pair lasted well over 2 years!!!

Bought these for my husband to replace a tired pair of Keens. He likes them very much. This shoe he wears the most.

Have bought this same shoe in the full size boot several time and thought I would try a lower ankle height version for the summer months. The are true to my KEEN expectations!

I bought these for my son as we were going on a hiking trip together. I've always loved my Keen boots. He commented how comfortable they were and not one blister. He loves the toe guard on the front as we kicked plenty of little rocks and tree stumps on the trails. We hiked 37 miles over 3 days and he was so happy I bought these for him.

The shoe was very loose in the heel

Other reviews said this shoe ran small so ordered a 1/2 lager but it was to long. It was a nice shoe just to big and selected another one.

This is my second pair of Keen Targhee hiking shoes. I wore the first pair out on the Appalachian Trail. I wear an 8EEEE shoe and although not considered a true 4E shoe, I find the Wide size fits me well. The length is perfect. The width feels just a bit snug right out of the box, but there is enough expansion that even with thick hiking socks they don't rub the sides of my feet. I highly recommend this shoe.

I ordered these for my husband. He normally wears an 11.5 EE. His bit toe was hitting the end of the shoe enough that I'm returning for a 12 EE. Because they ran a bit short a gave 4 stars for comfort. Zappos is the BEST!! What would we do without you!!

I bought these for my husband who really loves these shoes. He gets a new pair every year. They fit true to size, and are great for hiking, etc. or just everyday wear.

My second pair. Easy on/off laced loosely then firm and supportive when laced snugly. First pair held up well to prolonged light to medium use. Tried on other brands but none as comfortable.

No break in time for this shoe. Hard worker from the get-go! Love Keens; this is my 2nd pair and I'm sure it won't be my last.

GREAT shoes but definitely buy 1/2 size larger on these than your other shoes!! Love Keen and Zappos!

I ordered a 10 1/2 wide but, had to exchange for a size 11 wide. The customer service person was excellent and the size 11 shoes fit perfectly. I needed wide hiking shoes that had a thick tread and these fit the bill perfectly. It took about 6 miles for the shoes to break in and I have hiked over 60 miles so far in comfort, no hot spots, aches or blisters. I will likely buy a pair of mesh lined Keen Voyageur for desert summer hikes.

Very nice well constructed shoe. Keep feet warm when cold/snowing outside.

I had them on while hiking in western Virginia. These boots are extremely comfortable. I purchased a half size larger because I typically wear thick socks.

My 14 year old son has worn Targhee's daily since the first pair - purchased when he was 8, for a 3-week hiking trip in western national parks. We've only bought new paris because he outgrows them. He had the las pair for about 18 months, wore daily as well as for monthly boy scout campouts in mud and snow -- and they are still like new. No holes, tears, or significant signs of wear. I don't wear mine as often, but mine from 2011 are also still like new! When I put mine on, I am still surprised at how comfortable they are, wide enough in the toes, and not heavy on my feet. My other shoes are high-end anti-roll extra-wide New balance -- I'm picky about my shoes -- and I love the Targhees!

After having reconstructive surgery on my right ankle, I had to have orthotics made due to my right leg being 6 millimeters shorter than my left. I have been wearing Keen shoes. My orthotic guy recommended the Keen Targhee II. I HAVE ONLY WORN THEM ABOUT THREE WEEKS AND THEY HAVE BEEN EVERYTHING I HAD HOPED.

My husband doesn't write reviews...so I'll weigh in. He has multiple pairs of various Keen Targhee styles and likes them all. He wears Targhees for almost all activities. He really likes the fit, look, and durability of these boots

This is my second pair of Keen Targhee II's. The first pair lasted a total of 6+ years using them for hikes down the Grand Canyon to the beaches of the Florida Coast. They were also very handy for doing yard work and the like. Great pair of shoes that will keep you comfortable and dry.

Really like these shoes. My first pair of Keens. They have a nice wide toe box, which helps the neuroma in my right foot. They are heavy but that is just the style. I got them to wear as casual shoes with jeans, khakis, and khaki shorts. Really like the style and look of them.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I've always enjoyed Keen shoes and these are no different. Great for playing disc golf as well as light hiking and even everyday wear.

I am in the golf business and am in wet grass every morning. I have buy a new pair of these shoes for every season and they last the whole year and keep my feet dry and comfortable. I will continue to buy in the future! This is my 3rd pair.

These are very comfortable shoes with good support and a sporty if somewhat fashionably clunky look. The lacing system allows you to tighten the heel and adjust fairly well for any heel slip you might experience. I'll add my 2 cents to the size comments. I purchased size 11, same as the Keen H2 sandals I have for boating, and they fit well, were comfortably wide in the ball of my foot, and had the arch and heel cup in the right place. With other dress and casual shoe brands, a size 10.5 wide (and sometimes a 10 wide) usually fits me well. Based on that, these Keen Targhee II fit a half size larger as has been pointed out. However, when I measure my foot against standard size charts (11.5" long and 4.5" wide), I'm supposed to be wearing a 12.5 wide (E or W). Based on that measure against "standard" sizing, these shoes run large, along with virtually every other shoe I've purchased, suggesting most men's shoes these days don't run true to standard sizes. Use your own judgment, but I might suggest getting a half size larger than your dress shoes, especially if your feet run wide. But it might work to buy the same size as your running shoes.

Best all around shoe anywhere...This is my 5 pair over 6 years. I have worn out 1 pair working but the other 4 are great shape. This latest pair is my new dressy pair...

These are basically an exact copy of the ones I bought several years and have stood the test of time. I like that they are waterproof so I don't worry about puddles or mud. I actually bought the men's version this time because I liked the understated colors better. I wasn't thrilled with the women's choices.These are not a wide width, but are plenty roomy for my orthotics and my wider than average feet.
