Water proof lining flakes off. My shoulders get soaked in a light rain.

Not happy with fabric. My husband has had his for quite a while and since we were going to travel, I thought I would get one also. However the quality of the jacket was not at all like his. It was returned without any problem.

This is a very light jacket with some nice features such as the pit-zips, velcro cuffs, hood and front zipper flap. The jacket fits well and is very packable. A chest pocket would have been nice. The main issue is that the jacket is not waterproof (even when treated with DWR - save you money and don't waste applying your DWR on this jacket) and not breathable. After some exposure to rain, the jacket starts to get soaked and water penetrates the material. After longer periods of rain, the jacket is soaked both outside and inside, not just damp. The jacket is best used as a light windbreaker, not "PreCip".

All I do is sweat in this thing, the 2 times I've worn it I have taken it off to get less wet in the rain.
