I purchased these shoes for my son-in-law. I was happy to get the right size and they were delivered to me in a timely manner so that I was able to ship them to him in SC. I haven't gotten any negative feedback from him; he requested this style and size. I cannot comment on correct size/fit/width/etc. as you would like. Just assume no news back from son-in-law is "good" news regarding these aspects; so, I'll give you/shoes "5" stars.

Bought these for Christmas for my 12 year old nephew with the help of my 16 year old niece. I knew he wanted DC skate shoes, but I didn't have a clue what he would think was 'cool'. When they arrived I was surprised to find they are actually purple and not blue as pictured, both the soles and the plaid. (I took a pic to send to my niece when I got them and they again looked blue so I know it is just they way they photograph.) She convinced me he would like them and he loved them!

These shoes are very comfortable; they feel true to size. I have a 15 minute walk up and down a massive hill to get to campus, and these are the pair of shoes that haven't given me any troubles. Very stylish as well; I got the mocha/plaid style. They go well with virtually anything you wear.

Shoes are comfortable and they take a pretty good beating. Only downside is they take awhile to get worn in, but once they get worn in they're well worth it. Also thought the graphics were red, but turned out to be orange so make sure you read the colors and don't fail like me!

The shoes are true to color and size. I bought these for my son and he loves them. I love Zappos for buying the hard to find sizes and styles. I will always be a loyal Zapponian!

Kid loved the DCs as usual and I've been proud to spread the word of Zappos even before you all took off and were big. I'm so glad to see a good and honest company stick to what is most important, its customers. From the free return shipping (never used I might add) to the friendly people in Zappos to the online ordering all flows very nice and smooth. Okay, you want to know about the DC shoes, this is all my kid wears is DCs. They are very true to there size and comfort from what I have seen when kid gets them. They stand up very well to a kid who is horrible on shoes and clothes in general as I am sure most 15-16 year old boys are. If you are questioning buying them somewhere else other than Zappos, you might find them for a buck or two cheaper but you won't find the good people behind it like Zappos. I know, I have been looking for years; that's how I found Zappos. I hope this helps in your choice in shoes. If your skeptical like I was, get them and try them out and if you don't like them return it. It's free shipping both ways.

The shoes are great and the design is awesome. I couldn't find these shoes anywhere else. Two days after I ordered the shoes I received them at my door. I couldn't believe that. Everybody should shop at Zappos.

I'm not a skater, but I buy skate shoes for the comfort and they last like 2 years. This pair of DC's are great! I like the width. Zappos was awsome with my exchanges, not knowing what mens size I needed. If you’re a size 10 womens, a men's size 8 fits great! Plus all the younger people think I rock when I wear these.

I really 110% love these shoes. It is my 1st time buying DC Character shoes, and my 1st time shopping on Zappos. First the shoes look great, they’re super comfortable, and they have great support, the shoes are also very trendy and modern looking, and I like showing them off. Zappos has absolutely superb service, and from now on whenever I need shoes, I will buy Zappos, even if it means paying more because of exchange rates.
