My husband wears a 9.5 or 10 normally in boots and shoes. I almost ordered a size up but did not and they fit perfect even with the felts in. He thought they looked huge when pulling out of box but once he put them on he said he wouldn't have wanted a smaller size for sure. He said they were comfortable. Will see when winter gets here.

These are comfortable boots and I can get my jeans over then which is awesome. They aren’t too clompy either. My feet stay warm and dry. I like the Velcro strap, but I am concerned if it will hold up.

good work boot. not as stylish as some for a teen boy but it is warm and gets the job done. thanks zappos for your great customer service.

Word of warning. I am size 8.5. When people say true to size, they mean it. I ordered 8 and they were to tight. What threw me off is that I owned Kamik Hunter boots size 8 and they had some room. When I read others here talking about how they sized down, I mistakenly thought "Hey, along with those reviews and how my other Kamiks fit, they probably fit like the other Kamiks and it gave validity to the people downsizing". Not to claim there intent wasn't truthful. But they absolutely do not fit like Kamik Hunter! Kamik Hunter 8's left my foot room. These 8's were too tight and my toe was firmly up against it. Since I am an 8.5 in size, and the 8's fit way to snugly, I think these are pretty true to size. My advice is if you are a half size in between, go upward, not downward if you want your toe to have a tiny bit of breathing room. Boots otherwise are very nice and warm and Zappo's are proving their stellar exchange service by sending new size immediately while I can finish the return. I am looking forward to dry and warm boots for the winter.

My son loves these boots and we have bought the second set for this season. He uses them for sledding, snowmobiling, and they really keep warm.

I know lots of folks that have these boots. They keep my feet warm except when standing on the ice. Also I added some sole inserts for more comfort. I felt this was absolutely necessary. The rest of the boot is very comfortable. Unfortunately the first pair I got was defective. Thanks to Zappos great service I had the new pair before I left to go ice fishing two days later. Thanks Zappos!

Just didn't fit quite right.

The boot itself looked great. It looked warm and tough but it felt too rigid/stiff on foot. Felt as if I was wearing a cast. Had to return it.

I bought a pair of these for last winter 2019/20 and had the same issue as another person...the buckle part that you use to tighten the straps came loose (got bent out of shape) almost immediately and started ripping the material that is used to secure it to the boot. Every time I would use it, I would risk ripping it more. I have been trying to find something to replace it ever since.

Cheap and effective for snow. I live off the grid at 5k feet in the mountains of northern California. Winter boots are Required, and I work them hard. Boggs and Sorels are both warmer and more comfortable than these Kamiks, but they also cost a lot more. If these boots last a year I'll he surprised, and when they wear out I'll buy Sorels again.

What happened to Kamik's? We've purchased these for years for our three kids. This year I bought 3 pair and none of them fit correctly, or they were hard to get on and off, or they were pinchy despite being a size bigger then they wore.

I tried these boots because I ordered the Canucks but they were too small and at the time one size up wasn't available, since these seemed to be similar I thought I would give them a shot. I found these to be uncomfortable compared to the Canuck's and I wasn't I fan. They seem very stiff and the interior doesn't seem as soft, when you step, it has a hard feeling. The upper part also doesn't seem as soft, it's stiff. I much prefer the drawstrings of the Canuck over this velcro strap too. The velcro strap didn't seem to get tight enough for my liking. Basically the Canuck was a size to small but still more comfortable than these. If I had gotten these before the Canucks I may have liked them but in comparison - the Canucks were just a better boot. One last comment for others who may buy these. Both these boots are narrow. My foot is pretty average (not wide) and these were tight on the sides. It's the liner that's tight, not the actual boot. The boot has plenty of space. I wore them around the house a bit and it did seem they were starting to stretch a bit so they may be OK after some usage.

I walk dogs for a living...in Chicago. I need proper footwear. My toes seem to always get cold first. Bought these boots bc of the awesome reviews. Waterproof? Yes. Comfortable? Yes. Wore them for a couple hours walking dogs in the snow & slush, 25 degrees out. That’s including in/out of the car & various homes. Frozen toes after 20 minutes. Super disappointed.

Too wide at the top. Length is an issue at calf as hard to get on. And...The finger loop to pull on, is too small for a guy with size 12 shoes. IE, my hands are big TOO. Not mention the size of! Boots appear to be very well made, though.

Loved my green bays until the heels on both disintegrated after one season. I may have been partially to blame as I got into the lazy habit of pushing them off with the opposite foot, creating stress at the heel. Still, don't think they should have utterly disintegrated. EMS store agreed and refunded the cost.

Boots were much too tight. Had to return them.

The inside arch is very high and cut into my son's foot so it didn't work for him.

I was ready to love these boots, but it was tough getting them on my feet. After taking out the thick & full-length liners, which were challenging to remove & stiff, but probably quite warm, I got my foot inside. They were strangely loose around my large ankles & tight everywhere else. And they couldn’t be pulled up over my large calves. These are not the boots for big calves & if you have wide feet, the liner will likely not work for you. Boston has had a series of snowstorms & I’m still looking for the boots to replace them.

Kamik, has good snow boots but only if you live in Alaska. These boots are not good for North Eastern weather, extremely heavy and way too big and overall disgusting.

water is some how getting in and idk how, literally since day way the smallest puddle i'll step in and my feet will be soaked by the end of the day

they look great. They fit great. But they freaking leak every time he takes them off his socks arer wet! We're talkin just snow, not walking in rain,just snow. Really really made me mad! I expected more for boots that cost this much.
