I love how warm these keep my freeze baby feet! I've had them for five winters now and they've held up in terms of warmth and waterproof. I knocked off one star because, in retrospect, I would've avoided the velcro strap and gone with a similar looking boot with a little D-ring lacing (maybe the Canuck by Kamik). The velcro strap often comes undone and is flapping about.

I usually wear an 8/8.5 but ordered a 9 after reading these run small and I'm glad I did. My feet feel nicely snug with socks on, plenty of stability when walking in snow or over icy sidewalks. I was worried at first that I wouldn't be able to wear the boots over jeans because of how they fit on my calves but I've been pleasantly surprised how they fit over a variety of jeans with little to no struggle. Very happy with these boots.

I ordered these boots and the Kamik Canuck boots at the same time, and these definitely felt smaller (as in shorter; both styles are pretty wide). If it's possible for you to order a half size up, I'd recommend it. Too bad they don't make half sizes for these boots, since I think an 8 1/2 would be perfect for me. They did seem sturdy and like they'd keep my feet dry and warm in the snow. Both types of Kamik boots that I tried seemed large, clunky, and wide, and allowed my heel to slide around a bit even when the ankle straps were tightened. They seem more like scaled versions of men's boots rather than boots separately designed for woman-shaped feet. The Sorel Tivoli High boots that I ended up going with look much smaller and less clunky on my feet, and they fit my heels better. Too bad, as I have a brand preference for Kamik's, since we always get their boots for my two sons, and they seem wonderful - sturdy and cozy.

I am typically an 8, ordered a 9 and am glad I did. I can tell these shoes will be very warm. Good for the price. Just wish the boot came up my leg higher, they seem a little short. They seem comfy enough, they will serve their purpose of keeping me warm and dry well.

These are excellent boots for their purpose - keeping you warm and dry while trudging through and working in snowy conditions. They are a little stiff and clunky but that is nothing unbearable, and I expected as much. We did not have such a harsh winter in New England this time around, so I cannot speak to how well the drawstring top keeps snow out. They do feel like they are very durable, so I hope I have them for a really long time.

Our 8 year old needed super-warm winter/storm boots, that weren't "stupid looking". Kamik Greenbay 4 did the trick, she loved them. Why? Easy to put on and take off, keeps feet righteously warm and wears them with her favorite dresses. Price wasn't bad either. A bit hard to clean winter gunk and slush on rubber part of boots. Boots are great, run big for thick socks or wide feet.

To get ready for winter, I purchased these boots which arrived the day after I purchased them! Wow! Using them during our first snowfall, the boots were very warm and comfortable. They are a bit stiff and the inside lining does not allow for a lot of maneuvering, but a good overall boot for the price.

My daughter wears a size 6 shoe and has narrow feet; I read the other reviews and ordered up. I got an 8 and they were way too small! Cute boots but will be returning them.

Haven't worn them yet, so I don't know how warm they are, but they are definitely not true to size. I am always an 8, and I'm sending them back for a nine. Glad Zappos makes it so easy! But order a size bigger than you think.

Great boot for the snow. The fit is small though, I wear an 8½ normally and had to order a 10.

I had to order 1 size up from my shoe size. The B width is OK if you have a narrow foot. It's pretty snug with my wool socks, but comfortable. Easy to walk in and a very nice arch support.

So disappointed because I have to send these back... couldn't get my foot all the way in! :( They seem like they'd be as warm as could be and even though I am considered plus sized, the shaft of the boot would have fit my leg. Oh well... back to the snowboot drawing board! :)

A little small for size. A good boot to run around in the snow in as long as the temperature is above 20 degrees F. Put on wool socks when the temperature got below zero and they did not keep my feet warm enough. Soles are thin and you can fell rock and the uneven ground through them. They are not as slip resistant as they should be for snow boots. Good boot for the price though. I have bought other brands at higher prices and they did the same thing.

Got these based on other reviews and in reaction to last year's 6-ft snowfall. Now I feel ready for the blizzard, if there is one. Only walked around in the house with them so far. They are warm and comfortable and I believe they will do the job very well. I'm glad I bought them. I'm rating these only 4 stars because I have not tested them under true conditions.

Inner liner was already falling apart. I only put it on once but I suspect others had tried it on and the inner liner (removable I think) was degraded.

These boots seem really warm and comfortable but run small. I wear a 5 1/2 and ordered a 6. My toes hit the end of the toe cap so they are going back. I bought a pair of Baffin boots instead.

Order a full size up

Solidy built boot that felt very warm but calf opening was much too tight and footbed was too narrow. Was not comfortable and had to return.

Underwhelmed by this pair of Kamik Boots and the size inconsistency of late for this brand. Even with the strap, the top of the boot was flopping around. The inserts were split down the front and seemed very unsubstantial. This seemed shorter than a previous Kamik boot that I returned recently. Even with laces those flopped around at the top of the foot also. Didn't like the material, too tight around my calves--and my legs aren't that big either.

These are very well made but the liner is uncomfortable my for daughter and made the boots too narrow. Without the liner, the boot would have been too cold Really nice boots but just too Complicated with the liner for my kid.

I've had these for a few years. At first the sole gripped the ground pretty well in snow and icy conditions. Now, the bottom is so slick and worn down that they are dangerous to wear when there's any slippery snow on the ground. They are fine for cold dry weather and do keep my feet warm.

I ordered a full size up and these still felt too tight.

It broke. The cord of the pull up tongue broke in the second wearing. Barely used.

I was looking for an alternative to snowmobile boots and the boot felt as if it would be warm but walking in them was not comfortable to me and they felt tighter than expected without having heavy socks on.
