A real eye-catcher - This is a beautiful bag. Very well made and gloriously colorful. As other reviewers have noted, it is colossal, and if Zappos had had the medium sized bag when I bought this one I might have opted for the smaller version. Stuff does get lost inside sometimes, and if you keep jamming things in (because there is PLENTY of room), it can get heavy. But these are minor grouses. I've been carrying my bag ever since I got it (about 2 weeks), and the leather is softening up nicely and making it drape better off my shoulder. I treated it with Scotchguard when I received it, and have had no bleeding on lighter colored clothes. It makes me happy every time I sling it over my shoulder.

BIG BAG - I ordered this bag thinking that I wanted a pretty big purse. It is soooo cool, but it is too big to look cool as a purse. PERFECT for a work bag, or school bag to hold your laptop and anything else you need to carry. The dimensions are a little off. The length of the bag is actually about 18 inches or more. I'm returning it and getting the medium slouch which is still pretty darn big. It looks that cool!

LOVE IT!! After seeing it in a magazine - I had to have it. I am not usually obsessive about a bag, but this one spoke to me! It is gigantic - I organize it by keeping smaller things in little bags within it - but I smile every time I pick it up. Beautiful.

Great bag!!! Big! Big! And terribly stylish - I had to have it!

As stated before, this bag is huge. I, too, would not recommend using it as a purse. I use it as an overnight bag, a carry-on, etc, and it works really well. Lots of room (I once had my laptop, a sweatshirt, three books, and the inner works of my purse in the bag), the strap is adjustable and comfortable, and it is very stylish. Well worth the money I paid for it! I sprayed the bag with a waterproof protectant, more so to protect if it should get wet, but it also served the purpose of protecting my clothes from bleeding.

Attention getter - This bag is HUGE so it can't help but grab people's attention. But the comments have been, "I LOVE that bag! Where'd you get it?" My only wish for this bag is that it had more than the single zipped pocket on the inside. The bag is so large that your belongings definitely get lost in it. But, despite its size, I use it as my everyday bag. The strap is wide and sits very comfortably on my shoulder so it's not that big a deal to carry it around on a daily basis.

Big and beautiful - I fell in love with the look of this bag, except for the fact that it was so big. Nevertheless, I bought it. I received many compliments on it! However due to degenerative disk disease, I noticed more back pain. I changed purses to see if the weight on the bag could possibly be causing the increase in pain. And sure enough, after changing purses, the pain resolved. Therefore, I am heartbroken.

Patches cracking - I really Love this bag! I even peeked thru the paper while waiting for x-mas to see if I got it! (I have never done that!) I do have one issue/problem/complaint. There are 2 squares that are cracking. One is pretty advanced. Does anyone have any ideas about what to do to protect it? I thought about maybe something like saddle soap to keep it from drying and protect it from moisture and spills. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This bag is huge - This bag is a very large bag, a bit bigger then I would normally like and I like big bags. It only has one zipper pocket in it, too. Being such a big bag, it would have been much nicer had it had more pockets or some way to separate things.

HUGE carry all! Am extremely happy with this bag. When it first arrived I thought "Oops, I've outdone myself this time" but over time, the leather has softened and so it doesn't seem so humongous. Big it is, you can fit ALOT in this bag! If you aren't a tall woman, I would suggest getting the next size down as this is a really big bag and you need the height/strength to carry it. It is all I hoped for tho, but I do have a few disgruntles - the zigzag stitching isn't even like the photo close-ups but it is consistently "bunched" all over; I think one color of square is "vinyl" squares but it makes for good variety; the strap isn't the same nice leather as the squares, but maybe that's coz it will wear better; and the strap is backed with cloth, which is ok, but I am going to add a layer of suede to help it grip on my shoulder. A few too many whinges, but I still think it's the bomb. It has character and gets a few comments!

My Favorite Bag - Let's just call it love at first sight! It is large, roomy and I can actually find things in it, unlike my previous bag/purse. This bag is very well made with only one flaw. I received this as a Christmas gift and there is already a patch that is coming loose (the stitching) where it joins the next patch. This bag is soo awesome! It makes me feel really good to carry it and I have gotten lots of compliments. Thanks Lucky Brand!

Attractive but can be better - It’s big and beautiful, getting tons of compliments. Organization, however, is a big big area for improvement. There’s only 1 zippered compartment inside. Given the bag's size, it would help to have more pockets for cell phone, keys etc. what I did was to have a professional sew in a few pockets (for phone, keys, pens, even baby bottles). But given the bag's price, these extra pockets should have already been a given.

4 out of 5 Stars - I really like my Lucky Brand Large Patchwork bag. I only have a couple of comments- the strap doesn't always keep the bag on my shoulder- it slides off a lot (maybe it's just me!), and it's a lot bigger than I expected. I wish it had more internal compartments- and I wish it had a zip closure rather than a snap. But, it works great for commuting purposes (it can hold a book, a pair of shoes, and a smaller purse).

Patchwork mailbag - This tote is large, but the handle drop is very comfortable on the shoulder. A tag warned of possible "bleeding" of the colors. To counteract this, I sprayed it with a leather/fabric waterproof protector. This has prevented the small reddish bleeding I encountered when rubbing a white cloth on the bag vigorously. (I did this to see how much of a problem this would be.) I am enjoying the bag, especially for travel work.

Can you say huge - This handbag is huge, trust me, it is bigger than it looks. I bought it for school. It's perfect for my laptop, and a few text books, and even a 3 subject spiral. I wouldn't recommend this bag for someone who wants to use it as an everyday purse. I think it is entirely too big for that purpose. Oh, and I was warned by the sales associate that the colors bleed and rub off on your clothes, which it also says on the tags. So you can't really wear it with light colored clothing. I'm hoping that flaw fades away by the end of fall semester. Anyway, the leather is pretty and the colors match everything.

Yes, but--- It's fun to wear, looks great, but it smells like manure--- must be the leather processing-- I have to store it in a garbage bag in my closet so it doesn't stink up my clothes-- too bad-- it cold be a fantastic product.

Too Big - This bag is HUGE!!! I was looking for an everyday bag... Not for me. I got the smaller version and love it. This is more like a piece of luggage.

Yes agree with many this is a large bag. But found a great option in the smaller medium size patch!!! Great alternative.

Looks better in the picture - even though I did measure it, This bag was alot larger than I thought. It also looked alot better in the picture than in person. I am returning it.

So cute! Too big! I had wanted this purse from the moment I saw it. Then I bought it. I took it on a trip to Chicago with me, and I wound up returning it the second I got home. It is just entirely too big. I know that all the rage right now is big bags, but you have to draw the line when you walk through I fancy restaurant and bump into people all because of the size of your purse. I would recommend the looks of this bag to anyone because it is cute, but beware of the size!!!!
