I have wide feet, high arches and a high instep and Ariats are great she's for me. I have a pair of cowboy boots from Ariat that are the only boots that have ever come close to fitting, so I was optimistic about these clogs and they did not disappoint. Very good quality. A wide toe box. A true size 10 when converted from European sizing. The heel still fits and isn't sloppy. The arch is high enough, but not uncomfortable. The instep doesn't bind. And the shoe is attractive, but stable. Oh, and I ordered these on a Sunday night around 4:00 pm central and they arrived by noon the next day!

I love the look and weight and quality of this shoe, they just did not fit me right. I typically wear a size 5.5, which is what I ordered, I found it not necessarily too big, just way too wide. I am used to walking in high heels and can do so very well, I might add, but for whatever reason the clunkiness of this heel paired with the fact they were too wide made my ankles go sideways just trying them on for a walk indoors. Sadly I will be returning them.

Really comfortable...get lots of compliments. The only thing about this is the heel. I slide up and down a bit, but wouldn't get a smaller size because my toes are at the tip. It isn't bothersome, but I do feel it. My other pair don't do this, so it may be just this style. They are so comfortable beside this that it outweighed the little bit of looseness in the heel. Great shoe and worth every penny!

These are really cute shoes, but I have to return them. They have no arch support. I was hoping they would have the support similar to Dansko.

I wanted to be so excited about getting these shoes. I was so disappointed! The leather was not of the quality I was expecting, and worse yet, they didn't even come close to fitting. I have worn Ariat products for years and have always been a 7.5, but I thought, with the turned up toe I might try an 8 just to be safe. Still a toe smasher! Even with only the very thinnest sock. Ouch! I might have tried to return for a larger size, but the leather quality turned me off. The arch support also seemed off. Sorry Ariat. Not a 5 :(

Near Perfect! These cute clogs were just delivered to my door and they are just about perfect. Immediately comfortable, but the right shoe seemed just a tad more snug, which I'm sure will be corrected with wear. These clogs have great support and grip on the floor, are quiet when walking and the elastic gusset really helps. I have a very high arch and when I walk, they flex nicely and give a bit across the arch while still fitting securely. They don't dig into the top of the foot like some clogs do. They will look great with everything from jeans to skirts to my scrubs. Delivery was superfast. This is my first purchase from Zappos, but surely not my last. Would recommend these clogs whole-heartedly!

Cure for squeaky shoes - Press down on the insole to find where the shoe squeaks and apply a little petroleum jelly on a q-tip underneath the insole. You can peel back the insole slightly with the q-tip or a butter knife. Usually the squeaks are only around the sides and heel of the insole.

Comfort & Quality Do Cost More - I work in an office where we can be a little more casual and my Ariat Strathmore shoes are perfect. I was not sure at first about spending that much for a pair of shoes, but I have wide feet and a high arch and stand 5'9" and need good shoes. After reading the reviews, I ordered an 8.5 - I usually wear 8.5 Wide or a size 9, however, the 8.5 medium width was perfect. I wore them 3 days straight to work, not only are they comfortable, I got so many compliments! I went straight back to Zappos and ordered another pair - Avalons this time. Now what will I do with my Clarks, my SAS shoes? PS If I could give these shoes 7 stars, I would.

BEST for problem feet - These shoes have made it possible for me to walk in comfort. The removable insoles allow for insertion of custom orthotics for plantar fasciitis, and the shoe is snug enough to keep everything stable. I have two pair, and wear them all the time. They give height because of the wedge type sole, but put zero stress on my feet. Added bonus: They are cute! I get compliments all the time!

I LOVE THIS SHOE! This shoe defines comfort! I have a LOT of shoes, and comfort and style have come into a very rare combination in this particular one. I find myself wanting to wear them all of the time, whether to work, shopping, or walking the dogs. This is really like walking on a cloud! Thank you Zappos, for continuing to bring the best to our fingertips. Ariat is simply wonderful!

On my feet all day! LOVE these shoes! I work in retail and am on my feet 40+ hours a week. I am up and down a ladder and just in general usually hard on my shoes. These are holding up great and I get compliments on them all the time. Definitely go with the 1/2 size larger than you would usually wear as a clog should not be tight on your foot.

Good arch support. I have plantar fasciitis and need a shoe with good arch support. This shoe really is comfortable and I am able to stand and walk throughout my 8-10 hour working day without a thought to my feet! These shoes are feet heaven!

Love these shoes!!! I wasn't sure about ordering these shoes because I have never had a pair of clogs. They are the most comfortable shoes I own now, and I wear them every day. I may have to get a pair in black.

Loved these shoes - Got my first, (not last) pair of Ariats. I have two different size feet and a bunion on one. ( cute huh!)These fit right from the start. Great arch, very cute. Even my grown daughters liked them! Though they do squeak, they feel so great I ignore it. My only problem, do not get the nubuck (suede) finish. The toes wore off the first month. Lost my receipt so I'm stuck, but I will get another pair- in leather.

Great Shoe! I absolutely love this shoe. I get compliments when I wear them; they are comfortable, even with my high arch and wide foot. This is a great casual shoe to wear with long pants or jeans. The burgundy is a beautiful reddish brown that goes with everything. This is a great shoe. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8, depending on style and brand and in this one the 8 is perfect.

Very comfortable shoe - I really like this shoe. It’s comfortable and looks good. You can even wear them walking and your feet don't get tired. I recommend this shoe.

Awesome - Great shoes but about a half size smaller than stated. If you are a size 8 the shoe will feel more like a 7 1/2 but the shoe does stretch some.

Cute and comfortable! Wow! These shoes felt great the first time I put them on! They look great too! I need a well-balanced shoe or my feet hurt, and these are perfect. I walked a long way in them the first day that I wore them, and I had no pain at all.

Most comfortable shoes I own - I'd been working at a trade show for several days, which required standing on concrete for hours, and then when the convention was over, I spent a day walking around the city. I limped into a shoe store, near tears from how much my feet hurt, and told the salesperson I'd buy the first pair of black shoes I found that didn't hurt my feet. I'd thought I'd buy Danskos, since I have a couple pairs that work for my problem feet. But none of the ones I tried on that day had the right blend of support and cushioning. And then the salesperson brought me a pair of these. They felt great from the first moment -- cushioned under the balls of my feet, but very supportive under my arches. The rocker sole meant my poor sore toes didn't have to work so hard. I was able to walk the 12 blocks back to my hotel without pain, and have worn the shoes nearly every day since. I'm here on Zappos today to get myself another pair of Ariats in the same or similar style, but a different color. Because as much as I love these shoes, they don't *quite* go with everything!

True to size - I wear a size 8 and after reading the reviews ordered a 7.5. They were too small on my feet so I have re-ordered a size 8. Other than that the shoes are adorable and the customer service and shipping was awesome.

Ariat Ladies Strathmore - This is a beautiful shoe made extremely well. This is my first time buying the Ariat brand and I am very pleased with what I see so far. This shoe is very inviting with an extremely comfortable insole. The leather is excellent and the width is as marked. The only issue that I have and I also have it with Dansko, is the sizing. I basically fit a 71/2 shoe, but I have very narrow feet and my left foot is slightly smaller. The 71/2 is a little small because my toes nudge the front of the shoe. The 8 fits a little large and I have more heel slippage than is customary for a clog. You are supposed to have about 1/2 an inch between the back of your shoe and your heel. Clogs are supposed to flip on your heel, but I have too much. It makes the clog seem heavy and bulky compared to the 71/2 which is too small for me. The arch support in the 71/2 has a better placement on my arch than in the 8, but again the 71/2 is just slightly too small. I am still trying to decide weather I can use the 8 in these clogs. It is a hard decision because they are so excellent. They look great with everything casual and give you some extra height. I love them, just not my skinny feet.
