Nice looking boots run small. Was really excited about them when I opened the box. I wear ariat boots now so ordered same size but couldn't even get them on so had to send them back .

These boots are so beautiful but the width does not fit my foot. Had to return them

This boot may be good for some people. I have always had a narrow foot and the C width is still tight. They also have ahigher heel and throw all of your weight on the front of your foot. Pretty, but not terribly practical.

They are nice boots but they aren't true to size I had to return cause they were to big so when you order do a half size smaller than you wear

For the most part these are comfortable boots right out of the box. I ordered EE and they still fit a little narrow. They were spot on with length. Working on breaking them in and stretching the leather.

Maybe I will grow to love these boots but I'm not sure. I think they look pretty good. They are slip on with no issues putting them on my feet but fit very loose around my ankles and calves. Functionally these boots are convenient for slipping on and running out of the house for errands. As for comfort I'd say they are just ok. I purchased these boots online and I hate returning things so I kept them- if I had tried them on in the store I would not have been inclined to purchase them.

I bought these boots in Sept 2023 and by Dec 2023, about when rainy season starts up here in SF Bay Area, they were no longer waterproof. I've had similar experiences with Ariat waterproof boots in the past, so I guess I should've known better. I contacted customer service in Dec and still haven't heard back, so that's not great. Anyways, I'm giving these boots more than one star because they are very comfortable, though they do make my feet sweat in hot weather. My advice to someone looking for waterproof shoes would be to avoid these, but if you're looking for good cushioning and support, consider getting the non waterproof version of these boots. On a side note, I've had a pair of Dublin River Boots that I've had for 5+years that have easily outlasted these in waterproof-ability. In terms of fit, I'm usu a size 9, 40 EU and a 8.5 in these fit well. They are roomy enough for my orthotics.

I used to have no problem with fit on these terrain boots. Now the same size I have always worn is much narrower than before. I am disappointed.

Like the boots as I've worn this pair for the last few years now no issues. However these boots gives me a rash on my legs. Only worn them now twice and broke out in a rash. Just beware.

I literally can wear these boots for every occasion and have. I wore them hiking , to a wedding with a nice dress( love that there shaft is short) riding on my electric scooter and to work at Boot Barn. Would highly recommend.

So the boots were delivered while I was on a hunting trip in Louisiana. Just got home and opened them up and gotta say not really impressed yet. I have worn western style boots my whole life and though I never once have tried a pair of Ariat boots and so I did. While the comfort is there I really don't see the quality. They appear to be very cheaply made so I am anticipating buying another pair of my boots elsewhere very soon but we shall see I reckon. My star rating is in the middle at this point.

Not a good as prior pair. I know boots need to be broken in, but these are way too tight across the tops of my feet. The soles aren't as cushioned as my prior pair and the shaft of the boot is much wider, although I didn't order wides, so it looks stupid pushing against the bottom of my jeans. Just a weird fit all the way around. Disappointed!

Perfect height boot but either too small to get my foot in or next size up is too big and I get a sloppy fit on the heel and toe box!

Positives:
-Very very comfortable
-excellent support
-held up well to long rugged hiking
Cons
-dangerously slippery on smooth or wet surfaces. Like scary slippery. Do not buy these boots to use in snow, wet areas or smooth rock surfaces.
-falling apart after a year of use
-not the high Ariat quality I am used to with my paddock boots and tall show boots. Honestly dissapointed.
-sole pulling away from boot pretty quick after purchase

I bought my first pair of these over 10 yrs ago and they held up great! Just bought a new pair a cpl mos ago and they were comfy as soon as i put them on (no break in period) but after just a handful of times wearing them, the sole is coming apart. I hav contacted Ariat 4x and no one will get back to me to remedy this :( very dissapointed right now

Runs big and wide is WIIIDE. I got a size 9 wide and it was way too big so I had to return it. I then purchased an 8.5 wide. I still have too much toe space. I consider myself to have wide feet (often buy wide shoes), but even when I pull my laces as tight as possible (like, there is no more space to get any tighter) they aren't quite tight enough. I'm really disappointed that they only have a return policy and not an exchange policy.
I like the flexibility the boots allow for work and riding though. Just really disappointed that they didn't fit as advertised. I should've gotten an 8 regular.

Terrain boots
This is my 4th pair of terrain boots. This is the 1st time I've had to put in a thicker insole. The boots aren't built as balanced as the previous ones.
Not sure I'll purchase them again.

Definitely great street shoes but not waterproof at all so don't try to walk through dee soaked grass or anything wet. They leak at the seams. My second pair I used a waterproof spray snd they still saturated because they're leather. Love the look and I can walk all day just not in wet grass and unfortunately that's my job. Will wear when I'm not working.

These boots were good when I first got them, but as I have worn them for about a year, the support of this boot on my feet is breaking down. I doubt they will last another year. I only use them for going to the store, doctor etc. definitely not every day. I used to really like Ariat but the fit and quality is not as good.

I've had these boots in the past, but your sizing has definitely changed. Boot and toe box are now wider. I could have used a 1/2 size smaller, but you don't make them in a 5. I put a flat insole inside and that has helped. Please keep us narrow feet people in mind if you continue to re-size some of your other shoes.

These boots were very stiff and constrictive. The had no give. They were the correct size. They were hard to get on and hard to take off. I wore one for about 30 seconds until I desperately asked my husband to get it off. So disappointed. They are an attractive boot.

Kinda disappointed in the quality of the fatbaby boots anymore. They use a fake leather now. The boots I ordered were both size 10 but the right boot fit like a 9. I had two others try them on and they all noticed the right boot was not a size 10 even though they were labeled as a 10.

I like the boot and have had them before, make sure you continue to oil them or you will lose the waterproofing. Also I ordered wide which normally fit well however this time even the wide are a bit tight.
