Long Lasting Shoes -
Because of a foot deformity, my husband goes through shoes like crazy! There are no shoes that fit his feet right, so instead his feet end up destroying the shoes. I bought my husband a pair of these Lugz 2 years ago and they were just barely starting to wear out. He had never had a shoe or boot last that long, so we bought him some more!

These boots are true to size, unlike some other makes. It takes a bit of break in time to get the padded cuff around the ankle to soften up and conform to your body. Take your time and wear them in slowly. They feel and look great. I would but another pair in a heartbeat.

I have purchased these boots for my husband for many years. He works outside in construction and these boots are the only brand that really hold up and take a beating. I would not order the "Black" Lugz Drifter. I have in the past when my item was on back order and that was a mistake and waste of money! They do not hold up as well or last near as long. I will continue to order the Wheat Nubuck colored Lugz Drifter for as long as they make them.

I bought a pair in my size and although they felt really comfortable for the first few steps, after a full day of wearing them, I started to get heel blisters. I don’t know if this is because they haven’t been broken in yet, but I’m likely going to return them as they are pricey for boots that hurt your feet! Too bad because they do look great with everything!

I love the way the Lugz look and they fit and feel great. In my opinion it’s better than Tims or other boots BUT it is extremely difficult to keep clean. I had it the first week and after a night of going out the fronts were all scuffed up. It is light colored suede therefore very easy to dirty up with black patches and the material is really easy to scratch.

I've had these for about a year and I'm 100% satisfied with the comfort, fit, quality, and look. The leather Lugz used on mine is exceptional - almost hate to wear them for rough duty but they're so darn comfortable. Zappos customer service and shipping is the best.

Lugz Drifter friends for years -
I have had a pair of these boots for six years. Great fit, comfort is incomparable, very durable, and warm enough for most activities of the long Alaskan winter. I am however disappointed I cannot find one pair of these boots in a womens size 11. The pair I have know are that size, did they stop making size 11? Please advise on that one if you can.

This would be a great work shoe because of the solid toe and ample sole. Looks great and has a good amount of support. For me, it does not have any arch support, so it would be a good idea to buy after-market arched insoles.

This is a replacement for another pair of defective Lugz Drifters. While Lugz WOULD NOT back their product ZAPPOS DID!!! The customer service was AWESOME. This is a redesigned Lugz Drifter and I am hoping that the defects inherent in the first pair are no longer there.
I would HIGHLY recommend ZAPPOS for any shoe purchase. Quality customer service !!!

Worn Lugz Drifters for over 5 years -
I have worn the Lugz Drifter for over 5 years as a work boot. This particular one though has been uncomfortable and created blisters on the back and sides of my ankles. This is the first time, and hopefully the last, that the Lugz Drifter boot has done this.

I had a pair of Lugz in 2000. These boots don't even come close. No arch or heel support. And the quality has seemed to have diminished. The leather feels more like "pleather". They might crack on a cold day!

The shoe was not as I thought it would be from the picture. The front of the shoe is very round and wide. And for the first week or so the boot hurt my ankle and had to change back to my old shoes after a few hours.

These are a great shoes! One of the reasons I bought them is because they are gray instead of the traditional brown or black. They fit great and I've been happy with them. Oh...and I ordered them late on a Saturday night and had them by Monday! Let's hear it again for Zappos!
