Bought these in 2003 and have put countless miles on them. They're a hardy, good looking boot that I've counted on year after year to get me through long NY winters. Was so happy to find them again which is the only reason I'm willing to part with the ones I have. Ten years of daily winter wear and they still don't leak. Worth every cent!

I purchased these same boots several years ago - living in NW Wisconsin, winter boots are an important asset to my wardrobe. :) I love them so much that I just purchased a second pair so I have them when I need them! My first pair is still functional but I didn't want to miss my chance to find them again!

I love this brand and the last fits my foot so well that I actually thought about buying a pair to wear to my daughter's wedding two years ago. (Okay, I didn't but I knew that this was the kind of fit, beauty and comfort I wanted in a shoe I would be wearing for hours and hours.) This is at least my fourth pair of La Canadienne boots and I wear them to death - my everyday footwear from October to May. This pair is no exception to the classy, beautiful styling and feel good on the foot experience I expect from this brand. I think they look great with jeans and also with tights and a casual dress or skirt. I get several years wear from this brand and count on them to keep my feet dry in winter weather too. I like the narrower toe on this style too - more feminine than my current square toed pair. But even with the narrower toe the boot is still comfortable. I do seem to wear a half size up, same width as usual in La Canadiennes but I can live with that. I don't know what I will do if they ever stop producing my favorite brand of boot.

Fantastic shoe just bought my second pair, first pair purchased 6 years ago wore them out. Great weather proof I have a job where I am in and out in cold weather keep feet dry and warm love these shoes. Comfortable wear for all day.

I really like these boots. They are perfect for New England winters. The soles are non-skid, they are very warm. I love the convenience of having the side zipper which truly makes things easier. The heel has a bit of height. Cute and practical a new winter favorite.

I wrote a positive review when i bought these almost two years ago. Now that I have worn these boots several times a week, all winter for two years, I am even more enthusiastic. The quality is amazing: the heels don't wear down, the leather doesn't stretch out, they don't squeak, and they don't scuff! Any comfort issues were solved with an insert and odor-eater, for padding.

Extremely comfortable. Looks best with casual wear. Warm. Super cute with sweaters and jeans. Have wanted a pair of La Canadienne for a while. Good quality boots. True to size.

These are fabulous looking boots and will be so versatile. I am generally a 7.5 and ordered an 8 as that's usually what works with whole sizes. They are a bit long, so I am ordering the 7 and hoping, because they are the kind of boot you can love for years.

I love these shoes! I have two pairs and wear them almost everyday. I also have a pair of Frye Carson Lace Ups, which are also great. These boots are warm, and waterproof. I have gone through many puddles and snow piles and my feet stay dry. I am also on my feet for over seven hours a day on concrete floors, and these shoes are so comfortable, it is unbelievable. I highly recommend these! They are my favorite!

The heels are higher than on the earlier version of this shoe and have less of an incline. The earlier version was much more comfortable for walking. They also seemed to have less arch support. I'm returning them and hoping that La Canadienne will return to the original.

I like the boots but Zappos sent me two different sizes and then refused to exchange them.

These stemmed nice, but the footbed is not removable after all, so I couldn't fit my orthotics and my feet in them.

Beautifully styled. The WW width was perfect, but the length was at least a half size to full size longer than a 6.

This was supposed to be a WW, but it was way too snug for my wide feet unfortunately.

I need a lot of arch support, so I need boots that can accommodate inserts. Unfortunately, these didn't work for me. Too bad, because my last pair of La Canadienne boots lasted 10 years! Great brand. This pair just didn't work for me.

I usually feel really good about La Canadienne boots but I really did not love these. My husband remarked that the look like cheap Doc Martin knockoffs. It’s true the leather is not beautiful and the inner lining doesn’t look like it will hold up too well. I returned them.

I have a very wide foot with a high instep, so ordered the double wide -- WW -- but it still was not nearly wide enough. I've had better luck with some "medium" width shoes. I was also expecting better quality for the price. I would have been willing to pay it just to get decent boots that were wide enough, but these did not seem they would last me for years.

I am very disappointed that these pricey boots are not leather lined. The insides are an uncomfortable thin fabric that is not glued down. I really love the leather and the styling, but if they are not comfortable, I can't justify it.

Hated the shoe. Dislike the company even more. Returned promptly but waiting for credit weeks later. Is this new Zappos policy? They used to be very quick.

Leather is quite stiff. Style is very uncomfortable. Not what I expect from this brand. Customer service is horrific. Refund taking a month!
