I love these shoes. Super cute & comfortable. I have very wide feet so I sprayed them with leather stretch & wore 2 pairs of thick socks for a few hours, which softened the leather & made them the perfect fit. My only negative is there's no real arch support or cushioning on the insoles. I'm surprised since they're so expensive but love everything else about them.

Love these boots. I got the 8 ww and they fit great. Leather is nice and soft and comfortable.

I bought these to wear while touring in France. I didn't have time to break them in, but they have been so comfortable. I might add a small gel insole because I have back problems but they have been comfy so far. They are great with jeans and are easy to dress up with nice pants. The zippers make them easy to take on and off on the plane and at security. They've held up to pavement, cobblestones, puddles, and muddy grass. Well worth the money.

Love, love, love these boots. I have a bunion and the leather is super soft and the boots very comfortable. High quality product - worth the money!

These were great all-purpose boots for a month-long trip to Asia. They were comfortable for all-day walking in cities and parks. Minimal padding though, so not great for hiking steep rocky hills. Fit was true to size for me. The zipper-plus-laces isn't as superfluous as it may seem: it allowed adjusting a snug fit to my skinny calves, with easy on-and-off in airports etc. Kept feet dry in heavy rain and shallow puddles. Took heavy use and abuse and are still in excellent shape. Style-wise these boots are basic, not trendy, which is good for me because I've already lived through the '80's once. They look cute with thick socks, tights or thin leggings, and sometimes (surprisingly) with rolled-up khakis.

I bought this boot to travel around Europe knowing that cobblestone streets would be part of that experience. For some reason, I didn't notice the zipper on the side until they arrived. It is a brillant idea and makes this boot easy to slip off and on. I have already been wearing all around town and highly recommend this boot.

These are very comfortable and stylish for young and "old." That is to say my 20-something year old girls and this 40-something year old mom can both get away with them. The leather is soft but supportive. The tongue is lightly padded and therefore doesn't irritate the ankle/shin. The side zip makes it easy for taking them on/off. A quality product!

These are incredibly soft and comfortable straight out of the box, and they bring my feet to a new level of stylishness. Runs a little on the long and narrow side so don't try to cheat a wide with the next larger regular size up.

Gorgeous boots, but they scuff VERY easily. Polishing and buffing disguises, but does not completely remove the scuff marks. For this reason, I wouldn't wear them as everyday boots.

I bought this boot for a November trip to Paris this fall. It is a little rainy at that time of year and I wanted a waterproof boot that was stylish. This boot was exactly what I was looking for. My only problem was the sizing of the boot. I wear a size 8 1/2 and had to go with the next because it was way too tight in the toe area. The boots are a little bigger than I would like, but like others who wrote, I am putting a foam insert in and that took care of the problem. Euro fit is a little different than American. The quality of the boots is excellent.

I was sent used shoes! Not lightly used, but used enough not to warrant the full price! There were numerous deep creases across the top of foot, scuff marks on the side of heel. If I am paying this much, I want new shoes, not used.

The fit and width is fine for those who don't have bunions. I love these boots, they're beautiful but alas my wide feet wouldn't fit the width of 2EE so I need to return

Fantastic quality and they looked great. Unfortunately, they were 1/2 to a full size too small with lightweight socks.

I bought these boots in 2015 and I’m still,wearing them. I love them. Super comfortable and functional. I have bunions and it is challenging to find high quality boots that are not super narrow in the tie box. They don’t make them in wides but I didn’t need it. The leather is soft and pliable yet super sturdy - what a high quality leather should be. Love, love, love.

The width was good for my wide foot with bunion. The W was not wide enough. The WW was wide enough but the depth of the boot was too deep and the laced part of the boot was too wide for my ankle and lower leg. The laces touched each other and slight overlapped. The beautiful soft leather would have stretched in no time. This is s gorgeous boot. Just not made for me.

Wore these out of the box and out the door immediately. Very secure, on my feet all day, no rubbing/tight spots, and the heel isn't high enough to bother the lower back. Style wise, they seem to go casual or dressy - great with jeans and long skirts alike. The boots are a little tight around the ankles for longer/regular jeans to be tucked, but just fine for jeggings/skinny leg styles. My second pair of La Canadienne and I'm totally sold on the brand - really hoping they live up to their longevity reputation.

Very nice shoe. Not too heavy and very comfortable. Love the zipper so you can slip off easily. Appear very well made. True to my regular size 6 as well a normal width. Like that there is not a lot of adornment on the boot and it is simple.

These boots are unbelievably comfortable. The leather is super-soft and pliable and 9W was the perfect fit for my wider-than-average foot and ankle. Agree that there isn't much padding under the ball of the foot. And the soles squeak on wooden and concrete floors indoors. But, they are divinely comfy and good looking, so who cares?

Love these boots!!!! Just the right height for wearing with skirts, with a slightly taller heel than the ankle boot. La Canadienne makes the best winter boots. I have the ankle boot, this boot and the tallest boots so I am ready to handle anything the NH winter throws my way! My feet are warm, dry, and comfortable all day!
