I love the height, the circumference, the leather, BUT unfortunately my bunions rule and they are too tight in the toe. I hoped for a WW, but not available. These are beautiful boots and love Zappos. The only place I go to find my W/WW shoes.

When I got these boot I was so excited because I didn't even know they we're waterproof, then the insides had a plush lining. I should have known the ax would fall...they run small...very tight. I'm between a 7 1/2 - 8 but always order the 8 in boots. These actually squeezed all over not just the width, so I would suggest ordering a half to whole size up depending on what sock/tights your going to wear! But very solid boot for the money!

Love these boots! I have gotten several compliments on the few times that I have worn them. People like the banded look at the top, the nice heal (not too high but gives a slight lift for me at 5'3"), and the slim fit. Make sure you measure your calves when you order boots from Zappos. Even with the fantastic return policy, it's nice to know that you will have a pair of boots flying your way that will actually fit. Even with my measuring, these were a touch snug in the calf and I was going to return them, then decided to keep them knowing that they would stretch that little bit that I need. And they have! Love 'em...bring on the Oregon rains!

This was my first pair of La Canadienne Boots and I have since bought a pair with fur lining I love as equally well. these are expertly made classic, elegant riding boots made true to size and very comfortable. I live in a cold NW wet snowy climate so the investment was worth it on I went for it. I plan on buying more in the future. They are really easy to wear and care for in all the elements making them a well loved boot. I can wear with a tight, wool or cashmere sock for extra warmth and I can fit a skinny jean underneath. Looks great with everything.

Love these boots! I had been wanting to invest in a pair for the past couple of seasons, and finally decided to spring for them. They are attractive and go well dresses and skirts. I won't be wearing them with jeans only because they are snug around my calves, which are somewhat but not terribly "athletic." I've not yet had the opportunity to wear them in inclement weather. Because they are snug around the calf and haven't as much arch support as is ideal for me, I rated comfort 4 stars. They are comfortable though otherwise.

I looked for a long time for a pair of boots with a nice sheen and not too shiny but not dull and with a little bit of a heel but basically flat, and wanted comfort above all as I have a metatarsal issue and can't have a narrow shoe. These boots are beautiful and can be dressed up or down because of the beautiful leather. They have a small stretch slit at the top of the shaft that helps with thinner or thicker jeans tucked in. Really happy with them!

Beautiful boot, but roomy in the calf. The item info indicates 14.5". I also ordered the Jenny, which indicated circumference of 14.25, which fit much more snug and works better although too narrow, waiting for a W to become available. The Passion is a great boot if you have a slight wider calf.

I love these boots. So stylish and comfortable! These are my second pair of La Canadienne's. Calf is a bit tight but it will give after a few wearings.

These boots are an awesome fit for me. They are pricey but the comfort makes them worth it. I have two other pairs of La Canadienne's that I have had for several years. They are comfortable, great quality boots. I wish they would make more styles.

These boots are fabulous! I bought a pair in espresso last year and wore them constantly, so this year I treated myself to another pair in black. They're very comfortable, truly waterproof and great-looking.

I finally took the plunge and ordered these in black leather. They are beautiful. I live in a cold wet NW ,WA climate so need the protection. These are a classic beauty beyond the actual comfort and protection this boot offers. I am so glad I came upon these as I had been looking for a black boot for some time. Some of my other boots don't fit true to size. These did. I usually take a 61/2 shoe but a 7 boot and these were no exception. Very comfortable. These will never go out of style they are the perfect boot. Now I want more.

These shoes are so lightweight, comfortable, and stylish. I wear a size 10 and my feet don't look like bozo. I dress them up or down and they still look great. They are truly waterproof, too.

Can never get enough of this brand...high quality, wears like iron, and stands up to midwest snow. I generally buy a little larger so heavy socks can fit.

Comfortable and versatile. These boots will never go out of fashion. I wear with jeans and dresses. I call them my "go to" boots and have a pair in black and brown.

These boots are magic. they are comfortable, warm and waterproof. They were perfect for a week in London, followed by a week in the muddy English countryside. the calf area was a good fit (I generally am a little too big for most boots).

I can wear these boots from morning till night and be perfectly comfortable. Plus they make me feel like a goddess!

Fabulous boots! I have a wide foot and have trouble finding comfortable shoes, let alone boots. These boots are stylish, well-made and very comfortable. Wide toe box does not pinch toes.

Love these! It's difficult to keep black leather boots looking good in snowy/salty Wisconsin. I've always been a patent leather fan, so here I go with a pair of patent boots. They fit perfectly and look great.

While I don't think these boots are amazingly stylish, I absolutely love how comfortable and warm they are in cold wintry conditions. I live in NYC and walk a lot and they are great. My feet and legs are so comfy and warm that I often feel like keeping them on when I get home. I bought 7.5 W to accommodate my slightly wide feet and sore bunion on left foot and they are great. They are slightly roomy and I wonder if I could have managed with the 7W (even though I never wear a 7, always 7.5 and sometimes 8) but that size was not in stock. So, warm socks and I'm good to go. I wish they came in a taupe or cognac color something a bit lighter than the dark brown suede that I have.

I ordered three boots; La Canadienne Passion in Suade, Frye Melissa Gore and Cole Haan Jodhpur; Passion won by a long shot. The main reason I didn't choose the Frye (my favorite of boots ever) was the shaft was all the way to my knee cap - much too high (I'm 5'2"). The Cole Haan was far too small in my usual size - might need an entire size up in that boot. I ordered my typical size in Frye; too small and exchanged for 1/2 size larger and that did fit well. Also Passion I ordered half size up and it fit well. Passion doesn't have arch support - but in the half size larger I can fit in orthotics under the arch area only (a full or half orthotic wouldn't fit in a half size up). Passion is also waterproofed which is nice. Frye and La Canadienne were the better of the three as far as quality goes.

Very nice well constructed boots that fit true to size. But a little too conservative. They were kind of loose at the top as well. I think I would like them better with a bit of a heel. For the price I want to love them though, not just like them.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I wanted to encourage people who may be on the fence to order these boots! I was extremely weary about spending so much but they're exactly what I wanted: simple, clean, can be dressed up or down, comfort, and seemingly good craftsmanship. I've only had them for one day but I ran around campus and so far so good. My calves are 13.5 and they fit comfortably over skinny jeans and would also look good with skirts and dresses. So happy I went for them!

This is my second pair of La Canadienne. I love that they are comfortable, stylish and waterproof! These are great because they have very little heel and a grippy bottom making it great for wearing through the snow. They are also kind of fleecy on the inside which helps keep your feet warm - but not too warm. The calves are pretty slim so I think that could be an issue for many.

LaCanadienne knows how to make a stylish, comfortable boot! This is my third pair and every time I place the order, I agonize over the cost. From the very first time I wear their boots they feel broken in. Worth every penny. Thanks Zappos for your amazing quality and service!
