La Canadienne's Gaetana - This boot is pretty comfy, and I think I could wear it all day happily, but I can't get over the huge tread on the bottom. I thought it looked kind of moon boot-like. The rest of it is pretty cute, but with the wedge heel the big tread just looks silly. I tried it on with socks with cables on them which did not show through the boot. I think someone else complained about that. My friend liked the boot, & said my problem is that it's too "modern" for me, so take that however you will.

Love these boots! I was initially looking for fashionable boots, with little thought for the slush and muck we have in Midwestern winters. Luckily I found these boots, and their practical attributes were combined with the looks I wanted. They are remarkably sturdy in the snow, and the heel is tremendously comfortable. They keep my feet nice and warm. Also, the microfiber stretches beautifully and works with my large-ish calves. One thing to keep in mind -- putting them on for the first time is a bear! Keep with it because every subsequent time I have worn them they have gone on like a dream.

Comfortable Waterproof Healed Boot - I'm very pleased with my purchase. They are incredibly comfortable and waterproof so they are great for those unexpected large rain puddles. I'm not sure I would wear these with a skirt, because I am not that fond of the look, but they work for me as someone who walks a lot in a large North East city.

Pretty cool boots - I'm fairly happy with these. I love wedge boots and haven't been able to find any that replace my Kenneth Coles that I completely wore out. These are comfortable and look good but I didn't realize they'd be stretchy rather than stiff.

Comfy, Cute and Classy. They feel good the first time you wear them. I don't like to wear socks unless the weather is really cold. This is why I purchase Uggs. The interchangeable insole allows this versatility. I am looking forward to some cold, snowy weather.

Cool boots - I wear a 9-9.5, and ordered a 9.5. It fits well, and the boot is very comfortable. You don't feel the height of the heel. Fabric is nice, and the finish is very smooth. My only gripe is that they do scrunch a bit at the ankle. I wonder if I had ordered a 9 if the bunching would have been less. However, if I put a thick sock in the winter, it might look better. Overall, a really cool boot for skirts or pants. Oh, calf-wise, I have average calves and the boots fit well, but there is space to stretch for a stronger calf. If you have thin calves, I would not recommend.

Great boots, not so great fit :o( I was deciding between 2 pair of boots and ordered these thinking they were suede; however, the microfiber looked great, just a bit more casual than I was looking for. Anyway, I tried them on anyway and unfortunately they were quite loose in the ankle area. They actually looked great and were very comfortable, but if you don't want loose material, if you need ankle support, you may want to keep looking.

These are attractive boot. I have very wide ankles and calves so I need boot that stretch, and this boot gives without getting baggy. But the shaft could be a bit longer and the material is not breathable; your feet and legs get sweaty. The heel and sole are comfortable enough to do a lot of walking.

Exactly what I need them to be - I needed a pair of black stretchy boots to walk to work and walk around town in. The waterproof material was a bonus. These were hard to get on at first but now slide easily after a few wears. I did have to get arch supports put in so my feet wouldn't ache and they are still a little loose on my heel. The arch is in the wrong place in this boot! Overall, I am pleased with the purchase - they accomplish what I needed them to.

Good walking fashion boot for big calves - Title says it all - toes are a little big - it's a little narrower - at 1st really comfortable - but not as comfortable as I thought they'd be. Okay tho' - I'm obviously keeping them.

Thank you La Canadienne!! I love my new purchase! I was looking for a boot that was fashionable, on the dressy-end, warm and comfortable. The only change I would make to this boot is to have the warm winter lining extend all the way up (it's only in the foot area). Otherwise, comfort and look-wise, this is a winner!!

Like them very much - I love the look of the shoe and the arch support. The microfiber is thin, so I am not sure that this is an outdoor shoe… but I wanted a wedge heel and the boot to come up on my calf almost to my knee, which it does very nicely.

It definitely sags by the ankles. They’re a great boot if you have a lot of wet weather though

Looked lovely, high quality as all the products are from this company, but no arch support. Couldnt see myself in them all day.

I really wanted to love these boots because they are exactly what I've been looking for in a cold weather boot. Alas, it was not to be. I am blessed with large calves, narrow feet and narrow ankles, so buying boots can be challenging. These were tight in the calf, loose in the ankle and just a bit too big for my foot. So, the search continues.

Cute and comfortable - but the shaft material is so flexible that you can see a clear outline of the shoe part underneath with every step. It almost looked like shoes with tights over them. If it had just a bit more structure up the back of the heel to prevent this, I'd probably keep them, because I liked how they looked on my calves and how comfortable they are.

These are very comfortable, but the elastic leg is narrow and the interior sole is not leather. It seems like faux fur. Which I expect it to gain odor!

These were close to impossible to get on. I have very high arches, and navigating my foot down the stretchy shaft took some serious effort. Once my foot was in, the foot part felt about half a size too big. The cup of the heel was kind of loose on my heel too. These boots did feel comfortable once they were finally on, but they were just not worth the struggle. Also, it may have just been my pair, but the finish wedge seems cracked or squished. These are going back. Shout-out to Zappos for awesome shipping/return policies though!

I want to love these boots. My boyfriend thinks they\'re sexy, and they are really very warm and truly waterproof as labeled. However, they are rather narrow in the toe box such that I find them uncomfortable to wear for very long. The other thing I\'m ambivalent about is how much the grooves of the tread show from the side view. Also I would think twice about getting these boots for anything but late fall or winter since they are so warm. I can imagine sweating in them even in early fall.

Very comfy!! The only drawback was I ordered them in black, and they arrived slightly scuffed. Overall a great pair of shoes.

Great shoes - I bought these boots for a trip and they were very comfortable. The only problem I encountered was after getting them wet they now smell. I am disappointed because they are supposed to be waterproof.

These boots are great! With only one problem. The boots are very comfortable, just a little high for me personally. They really look nice on and are very fashionable. They are also very waterproof. The only problem is that your foot sweats inside the boot and they don't breathe. However, they are so lovely that I just put up with that. An NYC girl in Vermont needs a fashionable waterproof boot, sweaty foot or not.

Not stylish enough - I love the wedge heel, hard to find in a boot, but the overall look was not as stylish as I thought it would be. I was open to trying a microfiber boot, but when it arrived, it ended up looking like a boot I could've bought at Volume Shoes or some other cheap outlet. Not what I wanted with a boot that cost this much. I also worried that the elastic in the material would eventually slump around the ankle pretty bad. Not recommended for anyone with skinny calves (I'm not skinny or large in the calves and would not have wanted it any thinner for this boot). Zappos service rocks, thanks for the free shipping both ways, makes it so easy to try things that I am unsure of.
