Leather was initially stiff causing slight discomfort for a few hours of wear. No problems walking through airport security.

These were fine for the first six months. Then a hole appeared in the sole which quickly spread across the width of the shoe.

I was replacing a pair of Nunn Bush Eddy shoes, which I couldn't find again. So I purchased the Nunn Bush Maury. The wore faster that the other pair. It took the Eddy shoes about 21 months of daily wear to get a hole in the heel, and by then the rest of the shoe was well worn also. But the Maury pair got a hole in the heel in 8 months. Also, after 3 months, the little gel pad in the heel on one of the shoes broke open, leaked most of its gel out, and became non-functional. It really did not change the comfort at all, so it seems useless to have and I won't get another pair with the little gel pads in the heel. But I will try another style than the Maury.

Zappos provided great service. The shoes were just what I expected. Comfortable, hearty and good looking. Nice for office wear. Delivery was fast as promised. Overall I am very pleased.

Inexpensive, lightweight, and comfortable. All you can ask for, at this price! Purchased for an interview and I landed the job!

I wear these shoes for 12-18 hours at a time with my job. I have a wide foot and finding a lace up, airport friendly, nice looking dress shoe in a wide is always a challenge. When I do find them, they still take several days of discomfort to stretch the rest of the way or stop rubbing somewhere. These felt so broken in and comfortable when I put them on for the first time, I almost sent them back thinking I needed a smaller size. First pair of dress shoes I ever got that were comfortable out of the box. Only two minor complaints after about 150 hours of wear. The blue jelly horse shoe thing in the heel for support looks neat, and feels supportive, but the very center is still just hard leather and if you're walking in a hurry, you can feel the heel strikes a little too much. Would like to see the Jelly go all the way under my heel for extra impact protection. Second, the non-metallic arch support works fine for walking, no pain there, but when you're supporting yourself on your arch on a sharp edge or corner it feels like there is just a thin piece of rubber between your foot and the sharp edge. Would like a shank that goes further down the sole. Overall one of the most comfortable pair of dress shoes I have ever had, and they came out of the box that way. May end up putting an insole in for more heel bounce, but will absolutely get another pair when these wear out.

This is the first time that I bought Nunn Bush shoes. They needed a two day indoor walk in. After that they are perfect.

Moderately breathable and comfortable to walk a mile or two in so far. The 12 wide feels more like a 13, but it is wide, so I guess that's okay since I don't personally mind the extra inch of toe room and the wiggling. Not particularly grippy bottom and I wonder if the exposed gel heel pad will wear holes in my socks faster than a regular insole, but so far no problems.

Average is the word I would use to describe these shoes. I was a bit disappointed in the quality, though (after the first day of wearing the right shoe is showing a severe crease where the foot bends at the top between the toes and the laces and I worry I won't get a long life out of them).

The toe area was a bit too narrow for me but the upper part of the shoe was quite large. I could not lace it up tightly enough to solve that problem. I'm also not a fan of the exposed gel in the shoe sole since I can feel it through thin dress socks.

I can't say these are the most comfortable shoes I've worn. If these are EE then they are the narrowest EE I've ever bough. Also, the tongue is too long, and so presses against your tendons at the front of your ankle, I would not want to walk more than a few hundred feet with them.

The show is very comfortable, but a little snug. My biggest complaint is how easily they scuff. You just have to look at them the wrong way and there will be a nasty scuff mark before you know it.

Midsole has worn out after just a year and has cracked, allowing water to seep in. Too bad, cause everything else was great.
