Great warm jacket for winter or cold days! I have this in black (7 years) and white (2years) and I love it. I wear it often and it keeps me quite warm in the winter with a thin shirt or even t-shirt on underneath only. I'm 5'1" petite woman that wears it in an XS which fits perfectly even with a few layers of thick fleece and other sweaters for extra chilly winter days. It doesn't have a waterproof shell so it will get wet on stormy days but it dries quickly. I've washed and dried these jackets in the laundry machine countless number of times and it still maintains its shape, puffiness, and weight. The lightweight jacket will stay puffy if u remember to dry it all the way when it becomes wet.

Impressive... I am continuously impressed by this jacket. It is soft enough on the inside to wear a T-shirt and yet when wearing a T-shirt I can still be toasty warm in below freezing weather (this baffles me - I was ALWAYS cold and got the jacket because I was sick of being that way!). Also, due to the compressible nature of the down fill, it will puff up enough on the inside to keep wind out with only a T-shirt on, but will compress enough to accommodate a fleece underneath for REALLY cold weather. I got the gypsy pink and LOVE every bit of this jacket!

Love it - Great, warm jacket. It is lightweight and warm. Fits great (sometimes I wear large for loose fit, but large was way too big so I returned for medium which is perfect - I am a size 8 to 10).

Nuptse fits true to size, I like that it is not jet black so it will look great with my black LLL leggings and with blue jeans too. I like to pack light (carry on my clothes and backpack for my helmet) and my 10 year old Italian ski jacket wasn't working - looked fabulous on the slopes but didn't work for my last spring ski trip... To bulky to pack, pain to carry on board and I felt a bit silly wearing it to dinner (seemed like everyone else had puffers or a nice jacket and all I had was my ski jacket - I like to pack light). The Nuptse will pack down into itself (it squeezes down to a space smaller than my tennis shoes) and into my backpack (looks like it will fit into my helmet - move over goggles), will be perfect for cooler spring ski days and will look great in the village and at dinner, I also ordered TNF Resolve 2 Jacket (from Zappos, of course!) and plan on wearing that skiing with a sweater, if the weather is to warm for the Nuptse. Beautiful coat for cold nights. It covers about mid-back pocket which is nice for driving. It doesn't creep up and allow my back to touch the cold seat. I am 5' 7", 134/ athletic, lean build with a 36D bust and find the size Large accommodates a hooded sweatshirt or a heavy, fleece North Face zip up with no trouble and with out feeling like the Michelin Man. My arms are 25" long and when I reach up or far in front, it's a blessing to not have my elbows hang out! HAHA! Great length for me.

The size and fit and warmth of this jacket is great, the color grey/black and the navy/black felt and looked a bit masculine which is why I returned them. Wish they had more femine colors available or the black.

This is my first North Face Jacket and I love it. I’ve always wanted one the reason I got my cause I’m traveling back home to Wisconsin where it’s a lot colder than where I live now. Also the price was right and it really had great reviews about it so that alone sold me right there. I will so get another one in the future.

Lightweight but warm! I’m 5’1” and the arms on jackets are usually too long for me but these are perfect.

I have finally found a replacement for my two year old down jacket. My old jacket was leaking down but I would have waited to replace it until next winter but my nine month old collie put a small tear in it jumping on me. I ordered this North Face Nuptse jacket in the light grey and black and the Urban Navy. I was unsure about the Urban Navy until I opened the box and tried it on. I love it! It is much prettier than in the picture on the web site. Even though this is a fairly puffy jacket, it is tapered in the waist and the color makes it look much trimmer than the light grey. After looking for weeks I have found the perfect jacket for the cold Montana winters. Even my husband approved of this color over the grey.

It’s a really warm jacket! Usually I just wear a t-shirt with it and it’s perfect. Keep in mind I live in Ohio, so it gets pretty chilly.

This jacket was ordered in large because medium was too small through the body,needed more room

Perfect winter coat!!! 5'5" 112, I ordered size S and it's just right - super cozy, room for layers and somehow feminine. I've returned many expensive winter coats because they're never right. This one is. Yes, as one reviewer mentions, the black is not a dark black. It's a matte, soft black - just as pictured actually... I tried it on and did not want to take it off. It will be a go-to for my annual trek to New England for Christmas. Thank you Zappos for the great sale price and speedy delivery!

North Face Women's Nuptse jacket - I love this jacket! It's so soft, warm & comfy. It does run large though. I ordered it at 8:00 a.m. on one day & it was at my door the next afternoon. I ordered a small & it was too big so I ordered the XS and had it the next day as well. I'm beyond thrilled with how quickly I always receive my merchandise & returns are handled just as promptly.
