Cute & Comfy - This is my first pair of Finn Comfort's. They are stylish and comfortable like my Danskos. I had been looking to branch out from my usual purchase of Danskos and decided to try these little cuties. I have gotten so many compliments when I wear them. Of course when I tell people what the name of the shoe is, I also give a big shout out for Zappos-the best shoe store in the universe. Love the selection and service Zappos has. There is no store that compares both selection and service.

Comfy - These are as comfortable and supportive as the Mephisto sandals with the cork bed. They have metatarsal arch support that is essential and makes them - for me - extremely comfortable.

Five stars PLUS - These shoes are so very comfortable. I ordered four pairs of different shoes at the same time, and the Finn's were a stand-out. I have gotten compliments on them, and that wouldn't even matter, as I can wear them all day, every day without any problems. LOVE THEM.

A win with Finn! I am on my feet all day long and this is the first time ever that I put a show on that fit perfectly and was total comfort all day long and then some.

I have been wearing Finn Comfort shoes for yrs. Only shoe I can wear and be on my feet all day with no pain.

I love Finn shoes! I have been wearing open toe sandals by Finn and they are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. Having made the reverse move from Florida to MA I knew that I would soon want a close toe shoe-enter the Finn Comfort Stanford. I have not worn them yet, but the fit is perfect. As it happened I went with the suggested size which I suspected would be too small since my other Finns were one size larger. Well they were too small. Zappos is fantastic when you need an exchange. They could not have made it any easier. Within days I had the correct size and UPS had those I was exchanging. Zappos and Finns are my first choice for comfort and service!

A true find! These mules are very cute and fit well. They make your foot appear quite small even if it's actually rather large (I wear size 43). Expensive, but well worth the price. I just wish the other shoes from the same brand were as aesthetically appealing ...

These are the best shoes ever. They have been my go-to shoes ever since I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and a Morton's neuroma. I have 4 pairs of sandals and 5 pairs of shoes. I replaced my first pair of Jamaica sandals with a new pair. Instead of discarding the old pair I got new footbeds and use them as slippers. In the winter I add a pair of heavy wool socks to keep my feet warm. You will not regret buying a pair of Finn's even if they may seem a bit on the expensive side. They are worth every penny.

Cute shoe for casual and work. Easy to slip into without slipping out as you walk. Very comfortable and great support!

I saw these in a local shop, but they did not have my size. I ordered from my beloved Zappos and had them in 36 hours. These shoes feel wonderful. They are comfortable and supportive while still being cute. The feminine shape makes your feet appear smaller. They are fun with striped socks. The footbed conforms to your foot like a custom orthotic, and it can be replaced after wear/tear. So these shoes are for those of us who appreciate well made shoes that we can wear frequently for several years.

Beautiful shoes. I'm a 7.5 or a 38. If the shoe sizes say, 7 to 7.5, they will not fit properly. they will be a bit too short. And going up a whole size doesn't work, so I can only wear the styles that specify the sizes as 7.5-8. Even though both insoles say 38. I expected all the 38's to fit, but the styles size differently, and Finn Comfort and the Zappos sizing is true. These are the best shoes for quality, and comfort..

These are my favorite shoes in the world. I have had many pairs of them. The old ones become gardening shoes after I work in a new pair. I have them in brown, black and shiny patent leather. I would have other colors, if they made other colors. The shoes have a wide foot bed and good support. I wear them all year round. Finn Comfort spoils me for other shoes.

I bought the Finn Stanford in brown last fall. I was hesitant at first because the leather felt a little rigid, but I can tell you after wearing them for one day...I fell in love! I have picky feet so finding a comfy cute shoe is a daunting task for me! I wear an 11, have wide feet, and a bunion to boot...this shoe was like heaven for me! I will be buying it in black. I agree, if you have a narrow foot, this is probably not your shoe...but for my big wide hooves it is perfect! It is so worth the price and looks cute with jeans or a skirt and tights! I also recommend Clark and Born.

These fit me exactly true to size, are incredibly comfortable, easy to step into and kick off, and cute as a button. I'm so glad I bit the bullet and bought my first pair of Finn Comfort shoes last November. My feet have thanked me over and over, although my pocketbook hasn't! I now own five pair. They are expensive, but it truly is a case of getting what you pay for with this manufacturer. The quality is second to none.

I like this style but did find it wanted to slip off my foot, but I have found a solution for that. I work at a hospital and do a lot of walking on the job. What I did was insert a 3/4 insole from the Good Feet store and placed it upside down in the clog, because the underside of the insole has a bit of friction in just the right amount to keep my foot from slipping but not so much as to be any kind of irritant. I also inserted a cork tap to keep my toes from sliding too far into the front part of the shoe. I made my own cork tap using very thin self adhesive cork on a roll from Hobby Lobby. I cut out two by tracing the footbed of the Finn and stuck two together to make one tap that was double in thickness and 1/16 of an inch when completed. Quality shoe stores sell cork taps—they fit under the toe and the ball of the foot, so almost halfway down the front part of the foot. I inserted my homemade tap and then the upside down insole and no more slipping in either direction! I prefer the hard footbed in this Finn style, which makes for better arch support and allows room for the added insole. The soft footbed is hard around the edges, which can irritate the small toe. And the soft insole takes away from the arch support. I also ordered a size up and keep the strap secure but not too tight. I have two pair of Stanfords and the red is a softer leather than the brown, but otherwise they are the same. With my issues solved, I love my clogs again. If there is no Good Feet store near you, you can call them and order a 3/4 insole over the phone. These insoles are expensive but excellent quality and last a long, long time. They run around $30 more or less.

Extremely well-made shoe, but the leather creased right where the toe and nail meet on my little toe. GAME OVER! They do flip-flop when you walk - something i didn't want.

I could maybe get used to their look because they're beyond comfortable. But they remind me of the shoes Lily Tomlin wore when she was Edith Ann wore on "Laugh-In." Her shoes were Mary Janes, but these just seem very child-like for an adult shoe. They look less so with dark socks, but you're limited to dark socks if you don't want to seem like you're wearing a kid shoe. If you can get passed that, buy them. Their comfort will not disappoint!

IF....they had fit: I would have been REALLY HAPPY to wear them!! I already did a review for Size 38, but my Big Toe on one foot needed a tiny bit of more room (length & height). The Brown in 38 seemed to have a VERY stiff toe box. The 39 arrived today in Black and the leather was SO SOFT (including TOE BOX). However: They are a "Fuller" cut shoe than I can wear. Width Wise: SIMPLY going across the footbed = FINE. But height of shoe (the VOLUME) over ball of foot & toes: SO HUGE that I could put 3 of my fingers over my foot and it still wasn't tight. I caught myself making EXTRA EFFORTS for the shoe to STAY on. I DID try shoe on with medium weight winter socks.....but still TOO big. I wasn't convinced that I was lining up with the arch and ? metatarsal pad. (can't remember IF it had 2 "bumps"). I was rushing to get this back to UPS Too bad there is ONLY one adjustment for volume! I will try a Finn Comfort Clog with the "Original" footbed. Hopefully in a clog - a little extra height across the ball of foot & toes won't matter. Clog come up higher on foot.....so let's hope this works. Zappos has been SO WONDERFUL with all my returns, that are too many to even count!

I really thought I was a Size 38, since I tried on the Harper (38) and another Finn Comfort sandal (38) in a local store. But this Closed Toe Finn Comfort is a tiny bit SHORT: I need more room for my Big Toe. The Harper also uses a Unisex SIZING. I REALLY like the "Classic" Footbed (Harper had the Soft Footbed). I have High Arches (but not a fat foot). The Mary Jane Strap adjusted well for me (there was enough velcro and room to TIGHTEN it). It did not seem too wide, but I plan to wear with VERY thin socks. I will be getting a larger size and hopefully it will work. I was tempted to get a totally CLOSED Finn Comfort Clog, but there aren't too many with the "Classic" Footbed. Plus I need to be careful IF there are too many overlapping layers that can dig into my tendons.

Best for a short, wide foot, IMO. These were simultaneously too short for my foot and too wide. Nice quality, however, although I suspect the stiff leather might take some breaking in.

I ordered the Finn Comfort Stanford along with three other shoes. This shoe felt like it provided the least cushion, sole protection to me. There was no arch support to my foot. I knew immediately it would not work for my feet.

The Stanford is one of my all time favorites from Finn Comfort. Can wear them without socks and prefer them to open toe sandals.

Love these shoes. Very soft leather and super comfortable.

The clog was comfortable from the moment I put it on. Comfort Finn recommends wearing them for a few hours a day until they form to your foot. I have another pair that I’ve had for years so I knew the drill. You won’t find a more comfortable pair of shoes. It has a rounded toe that I really appreciate. It allows more room in the toe box so there is no bunching or pinching in other shoes I own. I highly recommend these for anyone looking for true comfort.
