I love this boot. At first the price might seem a little excessive; however, it is very high quality with a Vibram outsole and breathable, waterproof eVent fabric. I've had other similar UGG boots that I have worn every winter for 5-6 years, and they are still like new. So for me, well worth the money. For a snow boot, the Butte is surprisingly lightweight so you're protected, but not at the cost of maneuverability. I wear it (black) with business dress with the fur collar up, and with more casual clothes, with the collar down. The sheepskin lining does not fully surround the foot as in some other UGG boots, so this one is not as warm as others that I have. However, I was still able to walk comfortably in snow on a 20 degree day with only light dress socks. Overall, a great buy!

Nice boot. They are comfortable, but if you have a high instep, they might be a little tight. I don't think that I could add an orthotic.

I am a woman with size 12 1/2 feet. I ordered the mens Ugg Butte because of the nice gray color with gray sheepskin. When I received the boots I "girled" them up by putting different bright colored shoelaces in them. With added Ugg thick insoles I was walking on clouds! Quite nice as I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet. I would purchase Ugg products again, very satisfied.

Excellent boot. I have a closet full of heavy winter style boots and it's actually refreshing to put these on. They look great and are incredibly lite! According to other reviews that mentioned the boots run large I ordered a 12 and an 11.5 (I wear 12). Both were too small. 13 was perfect. I wore these boots on a trip to Sweden and up to Kiruna and the arctic circle. Kept my feet very warm, had no problems with breaking them in, and they were comfortable and lite enough to trek around the city on a sightseeing excursion. As always, Zappos shipping was amazing!

I swore I would never ever own a pair of Ugg boots until I saw these in stores and decided to try them on. Wow. These are so toasty warm and comfortable. The most comfortable boots I've ever worn and very fashionable. I recently had the opportunity to wear them in the snow and not only did they keep my feet warm and dry, the traction is amazing. I'm no longer slipping and sliding all over the place like I did when I wear my Timberland's.

Great Boots - I purchased these for my son for a Christmas gift and he can't stop telling me how wonderful & comfortable they are. He normally wears an 11 but I got him the 10 1/2 and they fit him perfect.

Awesome (and warm) Boots - This boot is a MUST have for the winter. It not only keeps your feet perfectly warm without perspiring but also is easy to slip on/off and looks good dressed up or down (warm ups smile).

I bought these for my husband. They look really nice with jeans. Not too clunky, yet keep your feet warm. He wore a half size down. We live in Denver and they have been great in all the snow when going around town.

Many of the reviews for these boots said to order a half size smaller. This doesn't apply if you have high arches; order true size. Otherwise, these are very comfortable and flexible. I am expecting them to be warm and provide good footing as indicated in others' reviews. I rated them four stars overall only because I haven't personally tested the warmth of the boots.

Not bad - I ordered this boot for myself because the women's boot was a tad too short. I ordered this in a half size smaller and it fits well. I still can't decide how warm they are. My feet aren't warm but they aren't really cold. I usually only wear a thin sock with them. I think overall they are a good boot.

I wanted to love these, but somehow walking in them put so much pressure on the middle of the top of my foot. No way I could walk through snow with these guys.

I got the Butte's in black, great looking and can pass under my dress pants on snowy days. (I like that you can fold the fur side down and tuck in your pants, or fold up fur side and pull pants over, depending on your dress and style.) I put off buying winter boots for years, even though I live in Utah. My GF wanted UGGS for Christmas and found these as I was picking out her boots. I bought due to UGG's reputation of quality, the looks and all the solid reviews. The reviews were dead on. I took these out immediately to walk the dog in snow covered sidewalks on a 20 degree day (45 mins or so) and they kept me perfectly warm in athletic socks. Some have complained the fur lining doesn't go all the way through the sole, this is correct, the upper thicker fur you see stops near bottom of shaft but the whole lower sole has a shorter furry liner all throughout, making it very comfy and warm. The label says 100% wool lining. So if you're like me and got thrown off thinking the sole would be flat sewn on, non-furry fabric, rest at ease, its furry and soft. As others mentioned the boots run a little large. I wear a 10 to 10.5 and I ordered the 10. I put on two rather thick pairs of athletic socks and still had room in the toe. (keep in mind you want room for thicker winter socks.) so this was my test and it passed perfectly. Great look, dry, quality build and hopefully last for years, otherwise I never would have paid this much for boots. I am glad I did.

Great every day or dress up boot. Good support and keeps feet very warm. Bought these for my dad (a hard working guy that's is always struggling to find shoes his feet love) and he loves them!

Get boots. Super soft and waterproof. Purchased these for my boyfriend who always has to walk long distances on campus (rain or shine). He loves them and wears them every day. He no longer comes home with wet shoes and socks. I also own my own pair of Uggs which I've had for 5 or 6 years. Gotta love Uggs!

I had recently ordered a pair of female Uggs in brown and grey in sizes 11 and 10 because 11 was too big, however they were both bulky on my feet. When I realized they come a half size bigger in males I found the 7.5 to fit me perfectly. I love Zappos!

Great boot and like the ability to lace it all the way up if I want to. Very warm and dry.

Bought for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. He loves them, said they are very comfortable and best boots he ever had. The only downfall is they are so nice he won't wear them to work.

I am a huge fan of Ugg boots because they have proven themselves to be true to their claims. I own four pair. Exceptional quality, warmth and surprisingly lightweight -- much less heavy on the feet than other brands. Expensive, but long-lasting and rugged. For warmth, quality and style, it has to be Ugg. Well worth the money.

Boots looked and fit my husband perfect! Ordered and received next day. First pair too small but Zappos exchanged by next day! Unbelievable customer service - cannot compare to other online companies. My Xmas shopping was finished in a flash!

Great boot from Ugg. Fits true to size and they are very warm. They are also very stylish. I kinda wish they were fully lined in sheepskin but other than that I have no problems with these boots.
