Looks good but the left shoe wasn't made the same as the right. The back ate into my ankle skin right through my sock. Didn't do the same on the right. Measured and it was deformed inward.

Well, okay shoe at first, but, the heels do not last long at all. The little heel pad or whatever came apart fast, and cause a major problem. All the little plastic pieces kept breaking off little by little, and soon I had to take my shoe off every 5 minutes to remove a few annoying pieces of plastic floating around in my shoe. They also get dirty on the inside very fast. The heel stitching doesn't hold at all either. Had to throw mine away today because the stitching in the heel tore in half, and I couldn't do anything about it. Great shoes at first, but a lot of problems are attached.

Great looking shoe. As far as looks and price, look no further. However, the quality of the shoe in terms of durability is the downside. Maybe that is why the shoe is 'cheap'er. The thing with this shoe, is that is looks great and you get many comments (good ones). The bad part is that the rubber will start to unglue from the shoe early on. Also, it takes a while to get this shoe to fit good. It takes a long time to break 'em in.

These are easily one full size too small, and with very little "headroom", so the toes get kind of squeezed from above. My feet are 26.5 cm. European size 43 (28 cm) are a little big, and 42 (27 cm) somewhat small. Vans US size 9 should equal 42 2/3. Perfect? No these must be 41.5 at best. They are barely 26.5 cm. Either I will destroy the shoes, or they will ruin my feet.

This shoe runs at least a half size small, and Vans does not do exchanges or honor the sale price I originally paid for the item. Would not recommend.

I bought the white pair a couple of years ago and loved them, so I decided to buy the same ones again. However, I noticed they're very different now. The older version had sturdy, durable soles and felt heavier, while the new ones are much lighter with completely different materials. I wouldn't recommend buying any of these shoes unless they have a brown solethe quality is terrible.

I bought two pairs blues and black and white pair. I wore the black and white pair twice and the sole was coming off from the side wall went to the Vans store then exchanged them since it was only 8 days after I bought them. Wore the new ones that I just exchanged and the sole was again coming off the side wall at this point I am counting my losses and now am never buying this style again

What happened to the quality on the vans authentics? Ive been wearing these for years but it feels like they changed the rubber on the sole and its way less durable and flimsy now.

the quality on these is awful. They wrapped the original sole in fabric and then in a thin rubber, they're falling apart after minimal wear

I have worn authentics for the last 10+ years and never had any issues. I skate in them, mtb, bmx and even use them for hiking! This pair literally fell apart within days. The entire sole detached around the sides then the bottom of the shoe just fell through. It's almost like the shoes weren't even glued. Not sure if this was a defective problem or if the checkered print on the canvas kept the glue from adhering

The right shoe was a full size smaller than the left shoe, as per the label on tongue of shoe. Needless to say it did not fit my foot.

I walk, hike, mountain bike, bmx, snowboard, & kayak. I'm thoroughly calloused. I use different shoes for each activity, none cause blisters or rub my skin off. The Vans Authentic very quickly ripped all the skin off my Achilles. Tried using the fabric band aids that never come off, the Vans tore through big size & tore off medium size. If I don't have to wear moleskin on a 17mile hike, I shouldn't need it to walk from parking lot into a restaurant, but that's how quickly Vans shred my skin.

Don't do it you'll be sorry

I purchased this shoes online and when I finally got them. I got delivered something completely different of what I order. I try email customer care and no answer. I call customer care and they told me all they could do is give me back my money and to donate the shoes that I got. I'm not a fan of vans but I really like this shoes so I wanted to try them. I'm very disappointed mainly because I told the customer care rep that I would like for the purchase be resend and be correct but didn't wanted to do that. Really bad customer experience, she was not mean but I think she could have done more for me .

I have worn Bans old school low tops forever 6 years. Always 9.5, so why don't either of these shoes fit properly?

I rotate a few pairs at a time and always ware through them in about 6 months. Not made to the same quality they used to be.

This logo is actually embarrassing. Not to mention, had a horrible experience with shipping and order confirmations. Not happy with Vans as of late. Actually considering switching brands.

I'd of bought 10 pair if I could have chosen my own color scheme. One of the sides fixed color scheme isn't anything I'd were. Way to effeminate.
